Lex Friedman is one of two people I know named Lex Friedman. This Lex Friedman is an actor, a cartoonist, a maker of stuffed creatures, a kind friend, and more. We have a delightful chat here that YOU are allowed and encouraged to listen to. Thank you! PS Correction: The introduction and outroduction both say that the live soap opera "It's Getting Tired Mildred" happens the first Saturday of each month, but in actuality it is the SECOND Saturday of each month. Apologies for the miscommunication. Second Saturdays, all! Thank you and good day!
Baker is a busy man. He's a bartender, an assistant manager at Highwire and on Karaoke night, he's your signing bartender. He's won local and national bartending accolades, singing awards- He also has a love of art and fondly remembers the gallery visits he made during Downtown Saturday Night. Over the years downtown morphed into to Second Saturdays, but J misses those gallery nights. He and the team at Highwire lounge are bringing the art back to second saturdays, 1 artist at a time. It's called Project Artwire on the second Saturday of each month. An artist is invited to showcase their work and paint live, creating something that night which evokes a feeling of downtown. It's live art and one lucky patron gets to take home the artists creation, for the right price.
