I sat down with the owner of "Give A Crepe. La CrepErie" a little before the lockdown in our city. The parts where she talks about the "Hill" coming together and supporting where others are in need of it. Nothing rings loader then this kind of community among entrepreneurs. When things feel like they are crashing around how it's tempting to break apart and go into damage control but maybe if we stick together we can help slow the effects of this time. These two guys are trying to spear head the growth of comedy in Erie. But interestingly they aren't looking to build it here. They see it as you need to leave Erie and give back to the city once you make it in the industry.  This is a different way of looking at it I haven't thought of before. but it calls back to airline saying "but your mask on first" because you can't help others without helping yourself first. What are your thoughts on this?

This episode is all about podcasting for your business and the ways I'm using Facebook in Eire as well as across the country. To me, podcasting is a must-have addition to a business because of all the added benefits and we get into all of those in the show!   For Facebook everyone thinks its dead but not in Erie and on if you use it the way I talk to you about using. Spoiler alert use Facebook groups! but that's all I'll give away, enjoy the episode!

When this episode was in the works I had little to no set plan on where it would go. But Kenny Ba$e and Aaron Rennel took it and ran. These guys are authentic to the core and convinced of their calling in life. If you care about the music culture in Erie at all you defiantly should check these guys out!

Collaboration can mean many things to a verity of people. Such a powerful tool in business shouldn't be so hard to understand. What is it and how can it help you? Chris has launched his business Revox, where he helps people share their voice on social media. His approach to teaching is very user-friendly and if you need help I urge you to take some time to talk with him. Chris also was on the Discovery channel show Undercover Billionaire. The time he spent on the show was very interesting coming from a fan of it. So stay tuned for the bonus clip to be released... 

This is the first of hopefully many mini-episode where I go into the details of my plan of becoming financially independent. Everything I've been doing up to this point has been free content that has been put out into the world, but starting this year I'm on a mission to make a profit from it all. It's an honest and raw conversation with myself (and possibly others down the road) of how I'm doing and my plans of where I'm going.    

Finding a title for this episode was a little tricky because of how much we cover both topics. This interview with Laban is really insightful coming from a very established business. Marsha Marsh real estate has been around for 12 years and still going strong. So not only is it a family business but one that works. And because they work in the real estate industry we cover a lot in the Erie market how to market to millennials and how they empower their agents.     

Topics like this really hit home for you because I myself struggle with not being full time in my passion. So when I see people like Jake doing what they love for a living I can't help but clap them up! Jake is a photographer here in Erie Pa and he's built quite a reputation. Part 2 of my interview with Dawn. This section is dedicated to her time on Undercover Billion Air working with Glen Sterns. If you are not familiar with the show it aired on the Discovery Channel. It was about a billionaire named Glen Stern going undercover and trying to build a million-dollar business from nothing. The first series of episodes were filmed in Erie, PA.    We talk about what she learned and how her life looks now with the show being over. This is for all my UB fans out there enjoy! 

I first found out about Dawn and nine20 from the Undercover Billionaire show on the discovery channel. So I sad Dawn to talk about her time on the show and what is happening with her business after the shows airing!  The conversation was very interesting because this is the first guest that would rather work in her business than on her business and i believe this is the struggle for most entrepreneurs in the creative space.  

I've fallen in love with events maybe it's the extrovert in me that loves having an event that brings value to others and goes smoothly. But reaching those two goals is no easy task. I've enlisted the help of Emily to help walk through some best practices on getting an event up and running weather that be networking or product promotion I think all entrepreneurs can get something from this talk! 

I believe starting a podcast for your industry will prove to be very valuable in the future as more and more people turn to the internet for business. Many people say podcasts are the new radio so why not learn from those in the field of engaging audio. Not only do we talk about podcasting but the state of radio in a whole.
