Best Friends with Sam Pura - Episode 13 - Zack Ohren (Castle Ultimate) & Sal Castaneda (KTVU / Mornings On 2) In this episode: I hang out and drink beers at Lucky 13 in Alameda with Zack Ohren. Zack is a producer / audio engineer who used to operate under the studio name "Castle Ultimate". We talk about Zack recording my original bands and his very unique and cool history of being what I would credit as one of the first successful DIY recording engineers in the Bay Area. We cover lots of random history, previous bands like Animosity, Something Must Die, All Shall Perish, talk about audio, life and just be best friends in general (which Zack HATES). I also pull out a potentially controversial song clip from a Something Must Die song that might have been "stolen" by the band Unearth... you decide. Then I randomly run into and interview KTVU / Mornings On 2’s Traffic Reporter Sal Castaneda. I ask him about his start in Radio & TV, and ask him about the very infamous "We Tu Lo" scenario.
