Welcome to the Two Hundred & Tenth Edition of The Chronicles of Podcast! After a dramatic passage reading from The Book of Celine Dion, Tom dives into his brand new Scottish Salmon Scotland football shirt before sharing his disbelief at his colleagues' knowledge on Biffy Clyro. He also brings in a story from work involving a patient who has definitely had better days, before introducing the bizarre concept of Tenshoku Sodan Bar in Japan, where people considering quitting their jobs can enjoy free drinks while they figure out their next move (Genius idea!) Meanwhile, Jamie questions Tom's distain for April Fools Day before he uncovers another unbelievable obsession from My Strange Addiction and reacts to the jaw-dropping heist involving over two tonnes of Kit Kats, raising the all-important question that nobody else seems to be asking - is the driver okay?! The boys also catch up on their weeks as Jamie gets a glimpse into his future as a grandad and continues his WWE Survivor Series rewatch, now reaching 2021, while Tom finds himself completely overwhelmed with studying and working, a lot and I mean a lot! But ensures to find time to celebrate his anniversary with his partner. Although Callum's Teachings is taking a week off, Tom's Journal returns with some of the funniest things on the internet right now, alongside our Single of the Week segment where we highlight new music you need to hear. Jamie's Audience Participation Challenge is back as well, and this week we want to know your most regrettable fashion faux pas. Being a tour manager at any level is an incredibly challenging role, but when the band schedule you're responsible for includes headline sets at the likes of Leeds, Reading and Download, it takes a special kind of composure and professionalism to pull it off.So the fact that this week's guest, Neil Anderson, has literally kept the Biffy Clyro show on the road for the best part of two decades is something to be celebrated. This is his “wholesome” tale, told for the first time.Buy your We Lost The Sea tickets: https://www.seetickets.com/tour/we-lost-the-seaAnd your pod merch: www.nomad-stores.com/collections/2-promoters-1-podWe go again, every Thursday morning.
