This week, Justin continues our series in Nehemiah as Nehemiah enters the kings court to make a remarkable ask. Nehemiah lives a remarkable life and gives us a formula to live that life for God as well.

In this episode, Amy, Justin, and Zach follow up on our Q&A panel and answer some of the questions that we missed during our Sunday Panel in the Fall. Relationships, hardship, and how to study the Scriptures are all at play.

Welcome to Christ Chapel Conversations. A podcast outlet where we cast vision, answer questions and help drive the conversation toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. In this first episode, Ben and Justin talk about the origins of Christ Chapel College and some of the passion that moves the mission forward.

This week we find out we are no longer strangers to God, but through Jesus we have salvation and we get to be a part of the most significant family and movement in history.

We are back in the Gospel of Mark for Easter Sunday studying the event that changed everything, The Resurrection of Jesus and how it should change our lives as Christians.

Continuing in the book of Mark, Justin takes us through the crucifixion of Jesus, we talk about how to sit in the grief of His death while looking forward to the resurrection of Christ.

Today we are in Mark 14, we look at how Jesus models the way to fight against the desires of our flesh and how to surrender fully to God.

Continuing in our Upside Down Kingdom series, Justin talks about the difference in a contract and a covenant, and what Jesus offers to us in a covenant relationship.

Today we welcome Dr. Lee Long and Dr. Debra Atkisson as they discuss Gods design for sexual wholeness.

Continuing in the Gospel of Mark, we are in chapter 11. We talk about Jesus' righteous anger with the money changers in the temple and how to keep the sanctity of the church as followers of Jesus.

Continuing in our series "The Upside Down Kingdom" we tackle Mark 11 when Jesus enters Jerusalem and proclaims that He is king. We explore what Jesus being king means for us today.

Today we walk through Mark 10, we talk about idolatry and how we can identify idols in our lives, as well as steps we can take to squash them.

Today we walk through Mark 9:33-37, we learn about humility and what Jesus says about being humble compared to what the world tells us.

Today we walk through Mark 9, the transfiguration of Jesus. We learn how the power of God is intimate and provides us hope and assurance.

Today, we study Mark 4:1-20 as Jesus tells a parable and then gives us an explanation. In this parable, Jesus sows the seed (the Word of God) and we discover if we have the heart soil to hear and see the Word of God and then put it into practice so it can grow deep roots into our lives.

In this message we study two major events that happen on the Sabbath. Jesus' disciples will pick heads of grain and Jesus will heal a man's withered hand. The religious leaders of the day are furious but Jesus uses these moments of opposition as opportunity's to teach about Gods heart and intentions for the Sabbath. This leads to a greater understanding of the intentions and heart of God for all of humanity.

Today we study Mark 2:1-12 as Jesus heals a paralytic man and forgives his sins through His authority. We identify 4 different people groups in this passage and determine who we may identify with. The 1. Scribes who are offended by Jesus' authority, 2. The Friends who are banking on Jesus' authority, 3. The Crowd who is intrigued by Jesus' Authority and 4. The Paralytic who is desperate for Jesus' authority. Who are you as it relates to Jesus' authority?

In this message we study Mark 1:16-20 primarily and Jesus' early invitation to His first disciples. In a message entitled, “The Anatomy of the Invitation” we answer 2 major questions: 1. Who is Jesus inviting, and 2. What is He inviting them too?

What is the mark of a follower of Jesus? Nathan answers this question as we study Mark 1:9-13. Through Jesus' baptism, temptation in the wilderness, and first proclamation we learn that the mark of a follower of Jesus is 1. A life of repentance, 2. A life filled with the Spirit and 3. A life filled with the Word of God.

Welcome Back! In the first message of the year, Ben, one of our Pastors opened up our new series walking through the Gospel According to Mark. Simultaneously, through Mark 1:1-8 we learned what kind of ministry we aim to be: 1. We are to be messengers that point to Jesus, 2. We aim to live and call others to live righteously, 3. We want to cultivate community that brings people closer to Jesus, 4. We believe our lives should look different in God's Upside Down Kingdom and 5. We believe that life change happens by the power of the Holy Spirit.
