Then I get into new research showing students who used AI for homework performed better at first, but saw major drops in exam scores later. Finally, I unpack Anthropic chief economist Peter McCrory's argument for why AI has not raised unemployment yet: it is still amplifying human expertise more than replacing it.

Cal has a suspicion that the little-known K Economy explains more about where the world is headed than most of what you hear on the news. So he reaches out to one of the world's most masterful interpreters of geopolitics and finance to break it down for the Big Questions audience. As founder of Tanto Capital, Ozan Ozkural flies from one city to the next — advising boards, governments, and investors across the globe, meeting kings, presidents, and financial leaders along the way. Cal met Ozan a decade ago through his pal Larry King, and Ozan became a regular at their breakfast table whenever he was in LA. Ozan is that rare guest who can jump from quantum computing to the Medici family in Renaissance Italy to the future of Chinese demographics in the same conversation. In this episode, Ozan decodes the K Economy down to a level of human evolution that leaves even Cal stunned.

Send us Fan MailThey say “rest day,” but the Tour de France never really rests. We're back with a mid-race reset from the 2026 Tour de France, recapping where things stand after 15 stages and why Stage 16's individual time trial could still shake the leaderboard. Between huge mountains and unpredictable weather, the race has already delivered the kind of chaos that makes fans either fall in love with cycling or start yelling at the TV.We dig into the biggest storylines: Pogacar's wins and the growing talk of cycling immortality, Evenepoel's breakthrough road stage and his best shot to gain time against the clock, and Pidcock's high-risk breakaway style that brings points, penalties, and controversy. We also talk crashes and the weird moments that can flip a Grand Tour in seconds, plus the reality that even proven winners can hit total exhaustion in the high mountains. Then we go where cycling always leads sooner or later: anti-doping. We unpack what it means when riders get woken up at 2 a.m. or 5 a.m. for testing, how the athlete biological passport fits into modern enforcement, and why storing samples for 10 years is both reassuring and unsettling. Along the way we debate what “fair” looks like when sleep, recovery, and performance are all tied together, and we ask whether today's systems match what the sport needs in 2026.If you're following the Tour de France, love time trials, or just want smarter cycling analysis without the fluff, hit play. Come join Jeremy, Stephen, & Chase for this special episode of the Zenspath Entertainment Network Podcast (Ep 227) as we discuss the news that Sony is ending physical media support for the PlayStation 5 & any future PlayStation systems as of January 1st, 2028. We talk about how we feel about the decision, the balance between physical & digital media, our thoughts on physical media to the medium of gaming & consumer rights, as well as our plans for purchasing future systems for the ones that decide to go digital only, & more. We discuss all of this as our main focus with this week's installment of "Let's Talk About It: Physical Media - Is It Still Important & What Comes Next?" We don't have a "Big Question" this week as the discussion was one that felt too big to have anything else involved, so we will return with a new one next week. It's accelerating climate change, increasing risks of pandemics and antibiotic-resistant diseases, and taking up a lot of land. There's a good chance you've tried alternative proteins, but as author Bruce Friedrich argues, that industry is just getting started on the course of innovation. Friedrich is the founder and president of the Good Food Institute and the author of the new book, Meat: How the Next Agricultural Revolution Will Transform Humanity's Favorite Food—and Our Future. In this conversation, he makes the case for why he thinks alternative proteins can revolutionize food systems, reduce climate impact, and improve global health. He explains the biological reasons humans crave meat and why it's important to understand it. Friedrich details the scientific progress and challenges in cultivated meat and what future innovation is possible. He also explains what he sees as the role of government and industry in scaling alternative proteins. I found this conversation to be very honest and straightforward. Hopefully, the exciting future Freidrich sees is possible!    Read Meat: How the Next Agricultural Revolution Will Transform Humanity's Favorite Food—and Our Future   Please consider becoming a paid subscriber to our newsletter/podcast, The Climate Weekly, to help support this show. The Menopause and Cancer Podcast

Four years ago, I sat down and recorded the very first episode of The Menopause and Cancer Podcast. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know whether anyone would listen, whether I'd make it past a handful of episodes, or that four years later I'd still be here, talking to you every single week. What began as a simple idea, to create the menopause resource I desperately wished I'd had after cancer, has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined.Over the last four years, we've shared hundreds of conversations with incredible experts, survivors, partners, advocates and healthcare professionals. Together we've explored symptoms, treatments, relationships, intimacy, identity, mental health, grief, hope and everything in between. The podcast has opened doors I never expected. It has led to friendships, opportunities, a bestselling book, healthcare professional training, events, retreats and the growth of Menopause and Cancer into a global movement. But perhaps the greatest gift has been you: your emails, messages and stories.Hosting this podcast has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. And the truth is, I think the podcast has changed me just as much as it has helped others.Over the last four years, life has changed, too.My daughters have grown up. I've become a founder, an author and somehow a CEO. I've gained confidence in some areas and lost it in others. I've learned new skills, made mistakes, changed my mind, needed reading glasses and realised that growth rarely happens in a straight line.Recently, I've been reflecting a lot on identity. For years, I was a yoga teacher. Then an advocate. Then a founder. Now a CEO.And yet, if I'm honest, I don't always feel like any of those labels fully fit anymore.Maybe you've felt that too? Are we constantly in transition?Perhaps that's why this moment feels important. Not because we've reached four years, but because it feels like the beginning of a new chapter.I've recently started a new project called Still Becoming: a kind of blog, and in many ways, this is how it all started for me. It's a space where I can share some of the conversations that don't always fit neatly into a Menopause and Cancer podcast episode: reflections on identity, motherhood, relationships, intimacy, purpose, building a charity and navigating all the messy, beautiful parts of being human. And because this next chapter isn't just about me, I'd love your help.I've created a short listener survey to help shape the future of the podcast. What have you loved? What has helped? What conversations are missing? What would you like more of?I'll also be inviting a small group of listeners to join me on a Zoom call on 9th July at 5pm so we can talk about the future together. For now, though, I simply want to say thank you.Thank you for listening.Thank you for showing up.Thank you for sharing your stories.Thank you for trusting me with them.Links MentionedThe Next Chapter - Shape the future of the show with me: https://forms.gle/cQ36jKzDFqY2p3qy6Join my blog ‘Still Becoming' on Substack: https://substack.com/@danibinnington?r=1osz6a&utm_campaign=profile&utm_medium=profile-pageBuy the book “Navigating Menopause After Cancer” https://amzn.eu/d/0fPhc0ttEpisode Highlights:00:00 Intro03:35 Discovering Menopause Support Needs09:20 Writing ‘Navigating Menopause After Cancer'13:00 The importance of audience feedback14:57 Kate's experience with menopause and cancer20:27 Navigating life after cancer21:27 Still Becoming: Embracing Multiple Identities25:07 Listener feedback session invitation28:14 Podcast future plans announcementConnect with us:For more information and resources visit our website: www.menopauseandcancer.org Or follow us on Instagram @menopause_and_cancerJoin our Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/menopauseandcancerchathub Mentioned in this episode:Substack: https://danibinnington.substack.com/
