In this episode, Melissa from Buried Under the Blue tells us about this community effort to talk about 3 historical communities: La Loma, Bishop, and Palo Verde. These communities were diverse and included working class Black and Brown families, as well as indigenous communities. The communities now sit under the Dodger Stadium and you need to hear how this happened. Melissa's own family was displaced by the city of Los Angeles with other families who now are speaking up!
