Gleichzeitig ist der Diskurs oft von Scham und Schuldgefühlen und einer gewissen Sprachlosigkeit begleitet. Die Initiator*innen der empirica Sexualitätsstudie wollten das genauer wissen und haben in drei Teilstudien das Spannungsfeld Glaube und Sexualität gründlich unter die Lupe genommen: Wie erleben Christ:innen das Zusammenspiel von Sexualität und Glaube? Welche familiären und gemeindlichen Erfahrungen haben sie geprägt? Welche sexualethischen Einstellungen vertreten sie? Und wie leben sie ihre Sexualität? Diese Fragen stehen im Mittelpunkt der Studie, an der über 10.000 Christ*innen teilgenommen haben. Die Ergebnisse der Studie liegen nun u.a. in zwei verschiedenen Büchern vor. Im Talk mit Jay, Marco und Gofi geben Leonie und Tobias einen Einblick in die Erkenntnisse, die sie durch die Studie gewonnen haben, wie sie vorgegangen sind und was diese Ergebnisse über den Zusammenhang von theologischer Überzeugung und sexueller Zufriedenheit verraten. Außerdem erzählen die beiden, was sie an den Ergebnissen besonders überrascht und berührt hat und was das für Kirchen und Gemeinden bedeuten kann. Gegen den Widerstand der zähen Flüssigkeit aus der Nase, zieht der Moderator, das Pulver irgendwie hoch. Über die Schleimhäute gelangt es ins Gehirn und Klarheit legt sich sanft über die Selbstzweifel, alle Unsicherheit wird erstickt. Vakuum für die Gedanken, die Gefühle erfrieren. Während Klaas schwebt, zieht Schmitti das „Spinnenbein“, dazu die roten Reste. Auch er verschwindet in der eigenen Unendlichkeit. Inneres Exil. Wie eine Lupe wirken die Tränen vor meinen Augen. Sie vergrößern das Elend vor mir. Zwei Freunde, zu Eis erstarrt. Aus Klaas Nase tropft das Blut. Schmittis Tätowierungen eitrig. Die Zigarette in seiner Hand glimmt in die Haut seines Zeigefingers. Wo hatte dieser Zerfall begonnen? Ich wühle in meiner Erinnerung. Mein Herz stoppt. Es war die Aufnahme der Folge „Kokstaxi wider Willen“ als wir beschlossen hatten, drogenabhängig zu werden, damit wir unserem langweiligen Leben eine für eine Netflix Dokumentation spannende Wendung verpassen.
