We are ready to get down and dirty about current events, politics, and society. There will be a fair amount of history thrown in here as well because one of us decided to get a real degree. The other just decided to get real opinions. We will argue and every now and again we might even agree bu…
Two Marine vets. Two fathers. One cop. One CEO.
The election is all but over at this point. There will be legal wrangling going on but we focus our eyes on the Senate race in GA.
It is getting super close and both candidates are watching the West.
The election comes down to just a handful of states at this point: Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. If they go the way it is expected then the race is over without having to know anything about North Carolina or Pennsylvania.
We are one day away from the election but I am here to tell you we will all be okay no matter what happens tomorrow.
The Hunter Biden emails and family dealings will have to be answered for by someone at some point. Leaving it to the media to discount and deny doesn't seem to be working. When will the Biden campaign be forced to answer these questions? Also, we will cover the predictions science made at the beginnings of Covid and where we are in relation to those projections today.
The debate was a good one with Biden finally having to answer questions. It did not go well for him. Congrats to ACB on her new position.
Tonight is our last debate and with Trump still trailing it is important to have a strong showing. We will see if he is able to control his impulses to allow the debate to happen naturally. It doesn't seem likely but with the Biden email scandal growing bigger by the moment, he may not have much else to talk about tonight.
The campaign has gone into hiding over Hunter Biden emails and it isn't looking good. Luckily a complicit media seems hell-bent on stifling this story as much as possible. We shall see if anything gets mentioned at the debate on Thursday.
Two things about this story are important. One is to follow up on the latest info about Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, potential influence peddling. It is important but not the vitally important second part of this story. Social media went into full cover-up on Friday without any reason other than political expediency. This story has not been refuted or discounted but the social media giants of Twitter and Facebook took it upon themselves to throttle its existence to near oblivion. Their explanations fell flat to anyone that has seen stories with far less backup explode all over the media.
I get that our political environment is rife with conflict these days but a new and emerging trend is starting to take significant root. It is the notion that your political opposition isn't just wrong or uninformed...they are evil. They are bad people and don't deserve your respect or your civility. It used to be only fringe blue checkmarks that felt like this but we are seeing it spill over into mainstream lefties now as well.
So far the Senate Confirmation Hearings for Amy Coney Barrett have been pretty tame. Senator Lindsay Graham asked for things to remain professional and civil which they have for the most part. We will highlight a couple of interesting lines of questioning from Senator Booker and Senator Hirono but they were the outliers. Also, we will cover the breaking NY Post story about damning emails found on an abandoned laptop in Delaware linking Joe Biden to a top executive at Burisma Holdings in the Ukraine where his son, Hunter, was engaged for $50k per month. This may not be the smoking gun but answers should be demanded as the story becomes clearer.
Court-packing has long meant adding additional justice seats to the court but with Joe Biden's refusal to answer a simple existential question about the court, we have seen a change in the media's and the Democrats' definition. See if you can follow the logic because apparently this campaign and the enabler media think you are stupid.
Today we will hear all about religion, abortion, election law and though none of it will be factual, it will be VERY important. This nomination and confirmation will be the downfall of our democracy or vital to our existence as a country. The grandstanding will be heavy on this one so take it all with a grain of salt if you don't want to lose your minds today.I have also included here my road map to making the abortion argument bipartisan. Check it out here.
The Debate Commission has released the parameters for the second Presidential Debate and they are planning on moving to a virtual format. The brought ire from the Trump Campaign and we will see if we have any debate in the coming week. There could be alternatives and we will discuss them today.
The VP Debate last night was much more policy-driven and tame compared to last week's presidential but there were still plenty of important moments as these two uniquely positioned candidates vie for the second most powerful position in the world.
The media in this country are ghoulish partisans and it has never been more clear than when President Trump proposes to see Covid through a positive lens. We WILL get through this. We WILL see better days ahead. Without so much as a recognition of the countless times before where a president has used aspirational language to carry the country through dark times, the media attempts to destroy the President for these remarks. It is a lie and everyone should be aware of it.
Trump was released from the hospital last night and promptly appeared on a White House balcony to remove his mask. Then he told the American people to not let Covid dominate our lives. This message was immediately grabbed by news agencies and likely will be all you hear about today.
This weekend was filled with news of the President, the First Lady, and a ton of staff and peers diagnosed with Covid. The fallout was tremendous with speculation about treatments, his condition, his symptoms, and on and on. We will likely find out a bunch more as this week unfolds but here are some major points to keep your eyes on as we follow the President's fight with Covid.
What each side has to do for a better showing in the next debate...if there is even a next debate.
This question is the one that has resonated most from the debate which is telling already but today we will dive a little deeper into exactly what was said at the debate.
The first debate is over and it was an explosion of epic proportions just as we expected. There were certain targets that each candidate had to hit in order to claim a win. One of them got there and one didn't. We have a full recap and our analysis of the event. Let us know what you thought in the comments.
We have waited a long time and tonight we will see the first of our presidential debates on Fox News hosted by Chris Wallace. The fun starts at 9pm (EST) and we can expect it to be raucous. This video will give you a quick overview of the things to watch for as we watch the first battle between the Democratic candidate and the Republican incumbent. We will be back tomorrow with a full review and breakdown. Join us on Wednesday.
The abortion argument has been contentious ever since Roe v Wade first occurred and it is likely to get even crazier over the next couple of months as Trump's current SCOTUS pick gets run through the buzzsaw of the Senate Confirmation Hearings. Here is a quick run-through of what the argument is from both sides and why both are trying desperately to lie to you.
It has been an electric summer of Black Lives Matter cases, protests, and riots but when the charges and convictions actually come down we will see most of the hysteria die out. These rulings will be unsatisfactory for many but these are the reasons why we shouldn't expect any of the cops to go down for murder.
