Adam returns from his evacuation to Vegas with an update on the status of his condo and the surrounding structures on California's Pacific Coast Highway. He also discusses some clips that have gone viral in the wake of the wildfires, including one of a black, female, firefighter discussing the need for diversity in the LAFD and another of LA's water chief explaining why everything at the Dept. of Water & Power is done with “an equity lens.” Next, Adam recounts going through the process to become a firefighter and the one test that undid his application. He also discusses how the destruction in Los Angeles may streamline regulations when it comes to rebuilding the city, a Palisades woman ambushing Governor Newsom, and Hunter Biden losing his Malibu rental house. Then, Dawson joins to read the news including stories about Gov. Newsom issuing an executive order to suspend regulations for rebuilds, the LA fire chief saying the city failed residents in wildfire prep, and Mark Zuckerberg telling Joe Rogan that Biden officials would scream and curse when seeking removal of Facebook content. Individuals who risk prosecution under the incoming Trump administration could receive preemptive pardons. President Joe Biden said he was considering issuing pardons like this in order to shield key figures from prosecution. Biden demonstrated a novel use of pardons like this when he granted his son, Hunter Biden, a pardon for any potential crimes committed between January 2014 and December 2024. The president has been pressed to give similar pardons to others, although he has not fully committed to doing so.

What might that be covering for? Who might that be covering for? What might it mean if Hunter is subpoenaed to testify against his father in an investigation into the Biden money laundering schemes in Ukraine and China? What exactly are Ukrainian and Russian men dying for? The more of the report one examines, the more questions arise. This week, we'll start with the report's explanation of the 4 families.

It's January 2025, and we're in the final days of the Biden administration.  He has had a busy last month or so issuing pardons and commutations.   This unfettered power is rightly scrutinized but often misunderstood.  The bigger problem is, the whole damn process appears to be broken.  And although Pres. Biden has done some good things with his power, it still represents a small fraction of those languishing in prison who deserve action. Margeret Love was the head of the US Pardon office from 1990-97, she had a front row seat to the pardon process, and continues to represent clients seeking pardons. Mark Allenbaugh needs no introduction.  His stats help us put many of these decisions into the proper perspective.  Both of them join us on the first episode of the new year to lend their unique perspective to this very timely issue!   IN THIS EPISODE   The Hunter Biden Pardon The 1500 commutations of those who BOP had released to home confinement during Covid; The difference between pardons and clemency; When did things really start to go off the rails in the US Pardon office? (spoiler alert, it was the Clinton years); Is it true that when you accept a pardon it is an admission of guilt? Trumps promise to pardon the January 6th defendants; Can a president pardon himself? Why the pardon essentially makes the president the "DOJ's Janitor"; How the pardon power should be managed going forward; Michael Conahan commutation (the judge embroiled in “cash for kids” scandal); Rita Crundwell (Dixon, IL Comptroller fraud) commutation.   LINKS: For more info on the Rita Crundwell Case, there's a great documentary produced by Prof. Kelly Richmond Pope called "All the Queens Horses" currently available on Amazon Prime (https://www.amazon.com/All-Queens-Horses-Gene-Biggerstaff/dp/B07BPNGP85).  She also writes about it in her book, "Fool Me Once" https://a.co/d/hQzJFUY I had Dr. Pope on the podcast to talk about this case a while back  As for the "Kids for Cash" judge who just had his sentence commuted, here's his wiki page:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Conahan Here's our two previous episodes on Hunter Biden.  The first talks in detail about the political nature of his prosecution and his original plea bargain falling apart and the next happened live after he pled guilty in California:  Ep. 64: Too Cute by Half: Why Hunter's Plea Went South:  https://youtu.be/sWEzwKLQCoo?si=rK3qRURAJVQtXXk5 Ep. 92: Livestream Bonus: Hunter Biden Edition:  https://www.youtube.com/live/B3VL-cJlXSo?si=r1zAdBS6C2s_STTO(make sure you forward through the first two minutes of tech disaster)  And we talk in depth about the concept of "lawfare".

Most Americans feel that the woke agenda is incompatible with the values that they stand for, but that certainly has not stopped the agenda from being consistently pushed. January 6th was covered by a portion of the whored-out corporate press as the worst atrocity since the Civil War, further eroding what little is left of its credibility. Inflation was denied, before being called transitory, only to later be called necessary. New pictures of Joe and Hunter Biden with Chinese business leaders have left another stain on Biden's tarnished legacy, piling onto the absolute mess he left for President Trump to clean up. On today's show, world renowned classics and military historian Victor Davis Hanson joins me to unpack the road ahead for President Trump. In his final days, Biden and his cabinet continue to lie about the mystery drones, covering up what is most likely another embarrassing blunder from the Biden administration. As President Trump gets ready to take office, Victor unpacks the looming debt and deficit crisis he is about to inherit. America's interest on debt is larger than its defense spending and for civilizations of the past, it spells the beginning of the end. Even worse, Biden is still proving no one hates the American people more than him as he auctions off the unused border wall materials at pennies on the dollar. 00:00 Introductions 01:53 Blake Lively 12:40 Donald Trump Trolls Denmark 17:33 Matt Gaetz 23:48 Dumb Voters 32:15 The Death Penalty —Happy New Year! Up front, we berate all the podcasts who are on vacation and running old episodes.  They're all lazy, and not worth listening to.  We also quickly touch upon unsung hero Luigi Mangione, who was arrested in the McDonald's where Amy Vevera worked as a teenager. (For the record, Amy wouldn't have snitched.) —nathan cannot explain why he's so interested in this story, but he is.  Hollywood is an interesting animal, with publicists creating narratives that seemingly have nothing to do with reality. Man-bun douchenozzle Justin Baldoni apparently went after Blake Lively over the summer, and she just hit back, hard. With behind-the-scene texts and messages, it looks like she's going to do to Justin what Dominion did to Fox News. —Come hell or high water, the United States will own Greenland! And the Panama Canal! Not really, but it's funny (sad) that whenever Trump so obviously trolls, the media falls for it. And, not just the media, Denmark has upped defense spending to shore up Greenland. Which, if the U.S. really wanted it, means the invasion would take 5 minutes, instead of 5 seconds.  A side discussion involves nathan's travels to Japan, and Guam, and his visits to businesses of ill repute.  —Talk about luck… The House Ethics Committee released the damning report on Matt Gaetz, and he is offended. Everything we all suspected is apparently true: he drank, did drugs, and slept with teenage girls. (Or, at least one teenage girl.) But, hey: don't compare him to an Uber driver, because that would be unfair to the Uber driver. (They're kind, upstanding citizens. Unlike Gaetz.) Also: why don't Matt Gaetz and Hunter Biden have their own reality TV show? Give ‘em both money and drugs, and let them do what they do. Eff the Kardashians, I'd watch the Gaetz/Biden show all day long. —A couple weeks ago, really dumb Union Steelworkers were upset, because they supported Trump in the election, but then Trump said he wouldn't support a merger that would protect steelworker jobs. Now, NYC Firefighters, who for years have watched Republicans fight healthcare benefits for 9/11 workers, are shocked and upset that Republicans stripped benefits from the latest budget bill. Look, there's nothing wrong with voting Republican, just know exactly whey you're doing it: you don't care about anyone but yourself, and you're rich. That's it. Maybe you hate the LGBTQ community, sure, but if you're middle or working class, and you think voting Republican will help you? Well, it's sad/funny that reality is now biting you in the butt. Also: is college important?  Republicans say, “No!” unless it's their kids going. And foreign workers with good degrees. Then, “Yes.” Hypocrisy? Of course! The foundation of the Republican Party. —Speaking of hypocrisy… Joe Biden removed 37 of the 40 criminals on Death Row (federal prison), because the death penalty is bad. Oh, but he left the 3 fellas on, because what they did was REALLY bad. And by that, I mean, “political reasons.” Because ethics and morals have nothing to do with politics, which is the only reason anything gets done in Washington. See how these are used as weapons in spiritual warfare. How can Christians prepare for the fight of their lives—and stand strong against the enemy's plans? Today, Jim and Lonaiah take a deep dive into one of the most vivid end-times visions ever shared: Satan's demonic army in action. Based on Rick Joyner's book The Final Quest, we unpack the details of this vision, which describes legions of demons armed with weapons like intimidation, accusation, and treachery. It's a spiritual battlefield where the stakes couldn't be higher. You'll hear about the smaller "scouts"—rejection, bitterness, unforgiveness—who sneak in to create openings for larger forces to exploit. Is Satan's strategy to divide and destroy working in your life, your family, or even your church? But it's not all bad news. Joyner's vision doesn't just show us the enemy's plans—it also reveals the power and authority believers have in Christ. How can we put on the full armor of God and fight back? And what does this vision say about the Church's role in the final battle? This episode is more than just a discussion—it's a wake-up call for anyone who feels the pressure of spiritual warfare in their own life. Are you ready to see the unseen? Every time someone stubbed their toe and later died, it was labeled a “COVID death.” Had a motorcycle accident? COVID death. Fell off a ladder? COVID death. Meanwhile, hospitals got paid for every COVID case. Cha-ching!It's estimated that the real COVID death numbers were a fraction of what was reported. But why let facts get in the way of a good panic? Source: CDC Excess Mortality ReportHydroxychloroquine & Ivermectin: The Villains Turned HeroesRemember when suggesting hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin might help was treated like advocating for witchcraft? Turns out, they were highly effective—more effective than the vaccine, in fact. But Big Pharma couldn't make billions off those, so they were dismissed as “horse dewormer.”Meanwhile, Fauci and friends were busy funneling money to vaccine makers faster than Hunter Biden cashes checks from overseas. Source: Peer-Reviewed Meta-Analysis on HCQ and IvermectinLies Require Cover-Ups When you start with a lie, you need another lie to cover it up. And then another. Pretty soon, you've got an entire quilt of deceit, stitched together with taxpayer dollars. For example, we now know that the CIA worked with the government to suppress information about COVID's origins. That's right, folks—the same CIA that can't keep a secret about UFOs somehow managed to help bury the truth about a global pandemic. Source: House COVID Report via RoganLawsuits Incoming All these lies are finally catching up with the Left, and lawsuits are piling up faster than Kamala Harris's word salads. States are suing vaccine manufacturers. Families are suing over fraudulent death certificates. And doctors who were silenced for promoting alternative treatments? They're suing, too. The legal system is about to get very busy. It's like the trial version of “Shark Tank,” except the sharks are suing the government instead of investing in your bad business idea.Replace COVID with…Anything Here's the beauty of the Left's COVID playbook—it's a template. You could swap COVID for any of their pet projects, and it would fit perfectly.Election Cheating: “No evidence!” (Meanwhile, evidence piles up like it's Black Friday at Costco.)January 6th: “Insurrection!” (From a bunch of unarmed folks taking selfies in the Capitol?)Climate Change: “We're all gonna die in 12 years!” (They've been saying that since the 1980s.)Whatever the issue, the formula is the same: Manufacture a crisis, silence dissent, and then rake in the cash. Why Believe Them Now? So here's my question: Why would we believe anything the Left says? Seriously, after the past four years of lies, misdirection, and outright incompetence, why would anyone trust them to tell the truth about anything? And yet, they'll trot out their “experts” again and again, expecting us to nod along like obedient sheep. Sorry, but this flock is wide awake.Folks, the COVID era was a masterclass in how not to trust your government. They lied about the disease. They lied about the vaccines. They lied about the treatments. And they're still lying today. So next time the Left tries to sell you on their next big crisis—whether it's climate change, gun control, or another round of COVID hysteria—remember the lessons of the past four years. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? That's not happening. Stay skeptical, stay informed, and most importantly, stay laughing. Because the best way to deal with the absurdity of it all is with a little humor—and maybe a lot of ivermectin. Ohio State Hospital Stops Offering Covid Shots to Employees Amid Outbreak of Death, Health Decline and LawsuitsThe dam is breaking on mRNA Covid shots says Dr. Peter Kory in his latest Substack article.  He highlights a series of recent events that makes this clear to him.The first example is of the Ohio State University Medical Center (OSUMC) that has mandated Covid shots but has recently stopped offering to them to employees but still offers them to the public which makes no sense.  What other reason for this would there be besides safety?  If the issue was merely that they were ineffective then that would not be a reason to stop the shots and then have financial loss from incentives from the NIH.    What Dr. Kory has found out from an insider at the Ohio State Hospital is that many doctors and specialist, are dying and needing to retire due to their sudden condition, many too young to have the kinds of health problems they are having.  Dr. Kory through his new whistleblower is also revealing the coverup by the hospital.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

[SEGMENT 1-1] Christmas songs repeat 2023    [SEGMENT 1-2] Learn to enjoy Christmas   It's Christmas Day and I hope you are enjoying life with friends and family. And if you happen to be alone, then thank you for including me in your Christmas, and know that I am with you in spirit. When I was an engineer, I had a friend who hated the holidays, especially Christmas. I thought he was kidding, but each year he got very depressed at this time. It was so difficult for me to understand this, because I'm a “cup half filled” person. What was so intriguing to me is that any other time of year, this guy was just like me. He was truly the Merry Mexican. One of the technicians on my engineering team, and the guy was a joy to be around…except during the holidays. In a way I get it. The most wonderful time of the year for God-loving people is almost approached with trepidation. It's the time of year to keep your mouth shut. Yes, we've spent all year fighting the lunatic Left, and now we're supposed to gather around the dinner table, smiling politely as Aunt Karen waxes poetic about “how presidential” Gavin Newsom looks in a windbreaker. The Unbearable Expectations of Christmas Christmas is supposed to be festive, but for many, it's a pressure cooker of unrealistic expectations. Let's start with the car commercials. Who are these people getting luxury cars with big red bows? I swear, I've never met anyone who's walked outside on Christmas morning and found a shiny new Lexus in the driveway. Not one. This isn't a gift—it's a financial ambush. “Merry Christmas, honey! Here's a monthly car payment the size of our mortgage.” Also, can we talk about the fact that Hollywood now feels obligated to diversify these commercials? Oh, look, it's Jamal and Shanice, living their best lives in matching sweaters, unwrapping a BMW. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but let's not pretend this is a universal experience. For most of us, the biggest thing we're unwrapping is the family pack of socks from Costco. New Year's Resolutions: The Annual Lie And then there's New Year's. We treat it like a fresh start, even though it's literally just the day after December 31. “This year, I'm going to the gym!” Sure, you are, Karen. Right after you finish the leftover pecan pie and delete Netflix. Why do we lie to ourselves like this? The same people who couldn't manage to walk their dog more than twice in 2023 are now planning to train for a marathon. Stop it. Holidays with the Left But let's get to the real Christmas buzzkill: Leftists. From Thanksgiving onward, we Conservatives are given a strict set of holiday rules. Don't wear your MAGA hat to dinner. Don't mention Trump. Don't bring up Biden unless you're praising his “resilience.” It's like the PC police have infiltrated our homes, ready to pounce if you so much as hum “God Bless America.” Even in victory—and Trump's 2024 win was a victory for America, the world, and maybe even Mars—we're told to tone it down. “Don't gloat,” they say. Meanwhile, they've spent four years calling us racists, fascists, and worse. Well, guess what, Aunt Karen? This Christmas, I'm drinking eggnog from my TKJN Trump Nickname mug and flaunting my Trumpiness like a MAGA elf at the North Pole. Why Conservatives Need Christmas Here's the thing: We Conservatives need Christmas. It's our time to recharge, to celebrate faith, family, and freedom. While the Left spends the season trying to cancel Rudolph for being “problematic” (too red, obviously Republican), we're out here keeping the traditions alive. Caroling? Check. Nativity scenes? Double check. Loudly pointing out that Jesus was not a socialist? Triple check. And let's not forget, Christmas is the ultimate reminder that good triumphs over evil. It's like a Hallmark movie on steroids. The world needed a savior, and boom, Jesus arrived. And in the spirit of that divine intervention, let's celebrate another miracle: Trump saved us from Bidenomics, open borders, and the Ministry of Truth. You better believe that's worth a toast. Dealing with the Lunatics   Potential Funny AdditionsA fake Christmas letter from the DNC: “Dear Conservatives, Please don't celebrate too loudly. It's making us look bad.”A MAGA-themed Christmas song parody: “It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Freedom.”A holiday card: “All I want for Christmas is four more years!”    I hope today you have on your Trump MAGA hat, drink from your TKJN Trump Nickname mug, and flaunt your “Trumpiness” like Trumpian elves.      [SEGMENT 1-3] Christmas toys repeat 2023      [SEGMENT 1-4] Government trophy girlfriend   I was thinking about this, and I've said many times that it's the rough patches in life that teach you lessons. You learn little from the good times. That's why so many billionaires' kids end up in rehab. And plastic surgeons feast on the insecurities of their wives. Money can't buy you everything, but it does keep the kids close. Government is like that billionaire's kid. It's gotten so much without doing anything that now it expects it. And no matter how badly government behaves or performs, it wants what it wants.  Trauma and Government Incompetence: A Match Made in Dysfunction And trauma also unites us, which is why we revolted against our government in the last election. We finally dealt with the trauma. Similarly, government incompetence echoes life's trauma—it unites us in shared disbelief. And much like those trauma support groups, we form bonds over mutual suffering:DMV Survivors Anonymous.Post Office PTSD Support.TSA Group Therapy: “Hi, my name is Kevin, and I was randomly selected for a cavity search.”The People Who Really Show Up Government is that chic we met at the bar who was HOT. She met us at our financial best, not when we were trying to make it. So we took our arm-candy all over the world, galivanting. And when we went to Thailand for her plastic surgery, she denied the bag with the coke in it was hers, and we had to do her time in that Thai prison. She headed straight to the yacht in Monaco to meet up with some dude she met at the airport while you were detained. Who did you call to get you out. That fat girl you ghosted in college after that one night you pretend didn't happen. And that girl jumped on a plane to Thailand to get you an attorney with her life savings. Refusing to return to America until you are free, she's now working as a stripper to pay off guards in the Thai prison to keep you from being violated. Meanwhile, your trophy girlfriend, aka the government, doesn't even remember your name. The Hilariously Dysfunctional Government Wish List I've been thinking a lot about what government should actually be doing for us. Instead of wasting money on things like gender-neutral snowplows or building sandcastles for crabs in Martha's Vineyard, why not tackle the real issues? You know, stuff that would actually make life better—or at least less absurd. The Government and Cancer: We Know You Have the Cure Let's start with the big one: curing cancer. We've mapped the human genome, people. We've sent robots to Mars, created ChatGPT, and even taught a few people on TikTok how to read. But you're telling me we still can't cure cancer? Please. I know the cure exists, probably stored in a climate-controlled lab in Beijing next to Hunter Biden's misplaced laptop. Only the richest people in the world get access to it, while the rest of us are out here doing 5Ks in pink tutus, hoping our donation covers a box of Band-Aids for a research center. And diabetes? Oh, that's cured too. But apparently, it's reserved for Silicon Valley execs who are on a raw avocado and crypto diet. Meanwhile, the rest of us are stuck playing Russian roulette with insulin prices.Real Science We Need Forget sending billionaires to space or making vegan leather from mushrooms. How about some practical science for regular folks? The Eyebrow That Won't Quit: I have this one eyebrow hair that grows faster than my afro did in the ‘70s. Can someone in a lab coat take five minutes away from studying the mating habits of fire ants to fix this?Butt Hair Be Gone: Why do we have hair growing in places nobody wants it? Between the ears, the nose, and—let's just say it—the nether regions, I'm starting to think nature is just trolling us. And while we're at it, does my nose hair have to turn gray? Nothing screams “distinguished gentleman” like a silvery vine hanging out of your nostril.Anti-Sweat Technology: Forget curing male-pattern baldness. I'd rather have a government-funded lotion that stops my pits from looking like Niagara Falls every summer. Priorities, people.Free Wi-Fi and No Toll Roads: Is That Too Much to Ask? Here's another idea: free Wi-Fi everywhere. If we can find funding for shrimp on treadmills (true story—Google it), then we can surely give Americans free internet access. You know, so we can stream cat videos in peace without selling our souls to Comcast. And toll roads? Enough already. We've paid for these roads ten times over. What are they paving these highways with, Gucci loafers? If the government insists on charging us to drive on roads we already own, the least they could do is throw in a free car wash or a pack of gum.Government Waste: You Can't Make This Up The real comedy gold lies in what the government is spending our money on. Some of this stuff sounds like rejected plotlines from “Veep.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

In a decision that has sparked widespread outrage, President Joe Biden has commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates, converting their punishments to life imprisonment without parole. This action, taken just weeks before the conclusion of his presidency and the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, has drawn fierce criticism from victims' families, advocacy groups, and members of the public. The commutations include individuals convicted of some of the most heinous crimes imaginable, including child murders, mass killings, and other acts of unimaginable violence. Critics argue that this move undermines justice, dishonors the memories of the victims, and raises serious questions about Biden's judgment as he approaches the twilight of his political career. Among those spared the death penalty is Thomas Sanders, a man convicted of the brutal kidnapping and murder of a 12-year-old girl. Sanders' crime not only ended a young life but also shattered a family, leaving scars that will never fully heal. His actions were so egregious that they drew national attention, with many calling for the harshest possible punishment. By commuting his sentence, Biden has effectively nullified the jury's decision to impose the ultimate penalty, sparking outrage among those who believe justice was already served. Another individual whose sentence was commuted is Anthony Battle, a man convicted of killing a prison guard. Battle's actions demonstrated a complete disregard for human life and authority, further highlighting the danger he posed to society. His crime, committed in a setting meant to rehabilitate or at least contain individuals who have broken the law, is a chilling reminder of the violence that can occur even in the most secure environments. By removing the possibility of execution, Biden's decision has reopened wounds for the families of the victims and those affected by his crime. The list of commuted sentences includes other names that are synonymous with terror and heartbreak. Marvin Gabrion, for example, was found guilty of the murder of Rachel Timmerman, whom he bound and drowned in a lake, leaving her infant daughter motherless. Kaboni Savage, a drug kingpin, orchestrated a firebombing that killed six people, including four children, as an act of witness intimidation. These are not isolated incidents or cases of wrongful conviction; these are cold, calculated acts of violence that tore families apart and left communities reeling. Yet, these individuals will now spend the rest of their lives in prison rather than face the ultimate punishment decreed by a jury of their peers. For the families of the victims, Biden's decision is a betrayal. These are families who have already endured unimaginable loss and have fought tirelessly for justice. The commutations feel like a dismissal of their pain and a disregard for the lives that were brutally taken. One father of a victim, speaking on the condition of anonymity, described the decision as “an insult to the memory of my child and a slap in the face to our family.” Another grieving family member questioned how someone convicted of such heinous acts could be shown mercy when they offered none to their victims. The emotional toll on these families cannot be overstated. Many have spent years attending court proceedings, reliving their trauma in the pursuit of justice. For them, the death penalty represented not only a punishment for the perpetrators but also a form of closure, a definitive end to a chapter marked by pain and loss. Biden's decision to commute these sentences has reopened old wounds and left many feeling that their suffering has been compounded by the very system they trusted to deliver justice. Critics of the decision have also pointed to Biden's age and alleged cognitive decline as factors that may have influenced this controversial move. At 82 years old, Biden has faced increasing scrutiny over his mental fitness for office. Reports have surfaced suggesting that White House aides have taken extraordinary measures to manage his schedule and public appearances, sparking concerns about his ability to make sound decisions on matters of such gravity. Some have described his recent public performances as “faltering” and “concerning,” likening them to those of a “grandfather who should be enjoying retirement rather than leading a nation.” The timing of the commutations has only added fuel to the fire. Coming just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump—a vocal advocate for expanding the use of the death penalty—takes office, the decision is seen by many as a last-minute effort to cement a legacy on criminal justice reform. Trump has made no secret of his intentions to resume federal executions and has even called for the death penalty in cases involving drug dealers and other violent criminals. By commuting these sentences, Biden has effectively tied the hands of the incoming administration, setting the stage for a potential clash over capital punishment policies. The broader implications of this decision extend beyond the individuals whose sentences were commuted. It has reignited the national debate over the death penalty, a deeply polarizing issue in American society. Advocates for capital punishment argue that it serves as a deterrent to crime and a necessary tool for delivering justice in the most egregious cases. Opponents, on the other hand, cite concerns about wrongful convictions, the high costs associated with death penalty cases, and the moral questions surrounding state-sanctioned executions. Biden's commutations have also drawn criticism from advocacy groups that support victims' rights. These organizations have long argued that the death penalty is not only a form of justice but also a way to honor the lives of the victims. By sparing the lives of those who have committed unspeakable acts, critics say Biden has sent a message that undermines the gravity of their crimes and the suffering they caused. In contrast to the backlash, Biden's supporters argue that the decision is consistent with his long-standing opposition to the death penalty. During his 2020 presidential campaign, Biden pledged to work toward ending federal executions and incentivizing states to follow suit. His administration imposed a moratorium on federal capital punishment in 2021 to review the protocols used, effectively halting executions during his term. However, even some of his supporters acknowledge that the commutations go beyond the scope of his campaign promises, particularly given the severity of the crimes involved. The political ramifications of this decision are significant. With public opinion on the death penalty evenly split—53% of Americans support it, according to recent polls—Biden's actions risk alienating a substantial portion of the electorate. For a president whose approval ratings have fluctuated throughout his term, this controversial move could have lasting impacts on his legacy and the Democratic Party's standing on criminal justice issues. Biden's commutations also come on the heels of other controversial acts of clemency. Earlier this month, he commuted the sentences of approximately 1,500 individuals who were released from prison and placed on home confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as 39 others convicted of nonviolent crimes. While these actions were praised by some as a step toward criminal justice reform, they have also been criticized as overly lenient. Adding to the controversy, Biden recently pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, for federal gun and tax charges, a move that has sparked political uproar and allegations of favoritism. The cumulative effect of these decisions has cast a shadow over Biden's final days in office. As he prepares to leave the White House, questions about his judgment, priorities, and legacy loom large. For many, the commutations of these federal death row inmates represent a tipping point, a decision that will define his presidency for better or worse. For the families of the victims, however, the focus remains on the loss they have endured and the justice they feel has been denied. As one grieving mother put it, “We trusted the system to hold these monsters accountable. Now, it feels like that trust has been shattered.” As the nation grapples with the implications of this decision, one thing is clear: the debate over capital punishment is far from over. Whether Biden's commutations will ultimately be seen as a step toward a more humane justice system or a grave misstep remains to be seen. For now, the controversy surrounding this decision serves as a stark reminder of the complexities and consequences of executive power in the United States. [SEGMENT 2-1] Christmas plot 1 Christmas week. What are your plans. Thanks for listening to my show. Hopefully you have the whole family gathered around your phone or computer and you're all listening to Black Santa espouse his political views? I can picture it now. I hope you are with people you love right now or on your way to them. Know how much I care about you all… What I find wild is that even in this time of reflection for most, there are people, ok DEMOCRATS who plot against the country. Imagine being so devious you try to steal money from people, and slip in legislation that allows you to be a known criminal, and the public can do nothing about it. Laws exist now that protect legislators from things that would be crimes for us. And they want MORE! More money and more power. And their rationale is that the peons are living better than most of the citizens of the world, so what another $100 per person matter, or $500 per person… it's amortized over a year. They nickel and dime us to death, and then we get the added tax of inflation. https://www.pgpf.org/programs-and-projects/fiscal-policy/monthly-interest-tracker-national-debt/ $104,497 per person, $266,275 per household…we paid $882B of interest on the debt this year.                                                                                                                       [SEGMENT 2-2] Christmas plot 2 What's ahead for the new year? Well, I know that we are all exuberant, excited about the possibilities of 2025. What role will you play? Is your job over, now that we won the last election? Are you taking a big sigh of relief?! Well stop! There is no relief. Merry Christmas, now back to work!   I ask again, how could anybody not want Elon Musk to look over your organization? I can only think of one guy not wanting this, and that's Jeff Bezos. And frankly, I don't think Bezos would pass up working with Elon Musk. But if Bezos did reject Musk, he'd be the only person who wouldn't want Elon to have a look-see at their organization. Democrats are plotting against Musk as I write this. Look at all the things that Musk solved that Democrats hold near and dear, and yet they plot against him. When I tell you, there is no satisfying Leftists…I GIVE YOU ELON!   Musk exposes inefficiency wherever he goes, so naturally, bureaucrats are sweating. Remember, this is the guy who lands rockets backward and made EVs cool, yet Democrats label him as some existential threat. Headlines scream nonsense like, “Musk backs neo-Nazis” or “Trump taking orders from Elon.” Really? That's your angle? Here's the truth: every great Musk innovation has been met with Leftist skepticism. “He can't do that,” they said. Then he did it—better, faster, and with fewer subsidies than any Democrat-backed boondoggle.[SEGMENT 2-3] Christmas plot 3 - Biden in Review   If Democrats tell the story, Biden was a great president. So what they killed his potential for a second term, that just business. America's Lump of Coal Presidency: A Retrospective on Biden's Policies and Personnel After four years of enduring this administration's bungling, America is ready for a reboot. The excitement around bringing back strong, decisive leadership is palpable. Polls show a yearning for policies that prioritize economic growth, border security, and international respect—not to mention a cabinet that doesn't moonlight as a reality TV cast.   [X] SB – Canadian on Trump v Trudeau US biggest economic and super power the world has seen Strong and fresh mandate Very powerful negotiator     . Thankfully, America seems ready to move on, but let's revisit the "highlights" we're happy to leave behind. 1. Inflation: From Transitory to Titanic Santa didn't leave gifts over the last year, instead he robbed us. Yes, Santa was caught on camera not delivering gifts but stealing them. At least that's what it feels like. Remember when inflation was dismissed as "transitory"? Turns out, it was about as transitory as a fruitcake—no one wanted it, and it stuck around far too long. The Biden administration's war on energy independence and reckless spending ensured that everything from gas to groceries came with a premium price tag. Americans didn't just tighten their belts; they cinched them into corsets. 2. Border Policy: Open for Chaos The southern border's open-door policy made Black Friday crowds look tame. We half-expected to see a "Welcome" mat and complimentary eggnog for all entrants, that's if you can find egg nog given our supply-chain issues which will be discussed later. Millions of illegals crossing under policies that made "catch and release" sound like a fishing tournament, except our fish were drug traffickers, sex traffickers, and terrorists. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas assured us the border was "secure, such a blatant lie I can only imagine Biden's team high-fiving each other after hearing it. Things were so bad on this issue, a Texas border town with 90% Mexicans voted for Trump over 85%. 3. Afghanistan: The Art of the Un-Deal The withdrawal from Afghanistan wasn't just a debacle—it was an international humiliation. President Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin orchestrated a chaotic exit that abandoned American citizens, allies, and billions in military equipment. The world watched as Taliban militants gleefully took victory laps in U.S. helicopters, making it clear that the so-called “adults in the room” weren't even playing the same game. 4. Transportation Troubles When supply chain issues ground the economy to a halt, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was, quite literally, nowhere to be found. On extended paternity leave during a crisis, Buttigieg's absence became symbolic of the administration's approach: absent leadership, delayed solutions, and priorities utterly detached from reality. Empty shelves became the new normal, making us nostalgic for the days when toilet paper was plentiful. Who knew that "just in time" would turn into "maybe next month"?  [SEGMENT 2-4] Christmas plot 4   The US shot down our own F-18. Did you see this story. I joked that the Chinese ordered Biden to do it, as they were gambling in Beijing on whether Xi could get him to do it. Either that or they found another Hunter Biden laptop and decided to have a bit of fun with their puppet. On top of this, we learned that Biden's military doesn't know how many soldiers are in Syria: [X] SB – Defense Spox on number of troops in Syria I'm not surprised given Biden's Secretary of Defense, oh what's his name?   [X] SB – Biden can't remember Secy of Defense name   You remember him, the 2nd highest ranking military man who went AWOL [X] SB – Doocy on Austin   We are days away from ridding ourselves of the worst president in American history, and undoubtedly the worst generation of freaks ever assembled in government. And we get more revelations about Biden's incompetence and inability to function: https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1870480551171518760   REPORT: Biden made military families of troops k*lled in Afghanistan wait three hours while he “napped” on Air Force One on the tarmac, according to the Daily Mail. According to family members who spoke to the outlet, Biden “couldn't pull it together.” “[Biden] made us wait an extra three hours to receive the bodies of our de*d family members because he couldn't pull it together,” sister of Rylee McCollum, Roice said. Roice added that a military officer told her that Biden was napping on the plane. “Roice said she and others were waiting for Biden to appear when a military officer told her he was napping on his plane,” the Daily Mail reported. “We sat in that office for what seemed like an eternity waiting on the doddering old fool,” said the father of the father of Staff Sgt. [SEGMENT 1-1] A Very MAGA Christmas 1   As we gather around the Christmas tree this year, sipping eggnog and humming carols, let us reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year for the MAGA movement. It feels almost like a Christmas miracle—or perhaps a whole series of them—that Donald Trump has once again triumphed over the never-ending shenanigans of the Left. From Alvin Bragg's legal circus to Letitia James' wild goose chases, and from the media's collective meltdown to the implosion of Biden's administration, 2024 has been the gift that keeps on giving. So, let's unwrap this year's highlights and sprinkle in some holiday cheer. The Year Kicked Off With Indictment Mania Remember when Alvin Bragg thought he'd deliver the fatal blow to Trump's political career with his "stormy" case involving hush money? Bragg's legal theories were so bizarre they made Rube Goldberg machines look straightforward. While the Manhattan DA was busy turning legal gymnastics into performance art, Trump was busy rallying the nation. Even CNN's legal analysts had to sheepishly admit Bragg's case lacked the teeth they'd hoped for (source). And then there was Fani Willis down in Georgia, valiantly trying to turn a phone call into a criminal enterprise. Her case fizzled faster than a cheap sparkler on New Year's Eve, but not before exposing how desperate the Left had become to smear Trump.  [SEGMENT 1-2] A Very MAGA ChristmasThe DOJ's 91 Indictments: All Smoke, No Fire Special Counsel Jack Smith may have managed to stack 91 indictments against Trump, but let's be honest: it was like Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone's vault. Nothing to see here, folks. Instead of taking Trump down, Smith inadvertently made him the political version of John Wick: the more they attacked, the stronger he became. Even MSNBC had to admit the indictments weren't landing as intended (source). Meanwhile, the DOJ itself unraveled under the weight of its hypocrisy. Hunter Biden's laptop? Ignored. Classified documents at Biden's Delaware home? Brushed under the rug. But try as they might, the American public saw through the double standards. Poll after poll revealed waning trust in the DOJ and FBI, culminating in Christopher Wray's resignation. A Christmas miracle indeed!Santa's New Elves: Trump's Appointments This year, Trump began assembling his administration-in-waiting, and oh, what a lineup it is! Each appointee is a present under the MAGA tree, guaranteed to send shivers down Leftist spines.Mike Davis (Attorney General): Known for his fierce takedowns of judicial overreach, Davis is set to bring the DOJ back in line. Leftists are already clutching their pearls at the thought of real accountability.Kash Patel (Director of National Intelligence): Patel's no-nonsense approach to exposing the Russia hoax makes him the perfect choice to clean house in the intelligence community.Ric Grenell (UN Ambassador): The Left loathes Grenell for his unapologetic America-first diplomacy. Expect him to give the UN a much-needed reality check. Each of these appointments signals a return to common sense and patriotism, and the Left's fear is palpable. The Media's Slow and Painful Demise Let's take a moment to appreciate the glorious collapse of mainstream media. CNN's ratings hit all-time lows, and even their golden girl Kaitlan Collins couldn't save the sinking ship. Joy Reid's MSNBC show? Barely hanging on. Meanwhile, The View's hosts spent more time screaming at each other than discussing coherent topics. The media's meltdown reached peak hilarity when they tried to spin Trump's victories as failures. When polls showed his approval climbing, they insisted the numbers were rigged. It was like watching someone try to argue that Santa doesn't exist while standing in a room full of presents.Holiday Ironies: Biden, Harris, and the “Ho Ho Ho” of Politics Biden's presidency has become the political equivalent of fruitcake—nobody wants it, but it just won't go away. His cognitive decline became impossible to ignore, even for the most loyal Democrats. And then there's Kamala Harris, the vice president who's been snubbed more times than a re-gifted sweater. The Bidens didn't even include her in their Christmas photo—a move so petty it deserves its own Hallmark movie.Kwanzaa and Kamala: A Tale of Two Fictions Speaking of Harris, her attempts to connect with African-American voters by celebrating Kwanzaa have been nothing short of cringe-inducing. Kwanzaa, much like her authenticity, feels manufactured. The internet had a field day mocking her forced enthusiasm, with memes comparing her to Michael Scott's infamous “Diversity Day” antics.Trump's Victory Lap And now, the pièce de résistance: Trump's victory. Despite the Left's relentless efforts to stop him, he's emerged stronger than ever. His rallies are packed, his base is energized, and his policies are resonating with everyday Americans. It's as if the Grinch tried to steal Christmas but ended up handing out gifts instead.Looking Ahead to 2025 As we head into the new year, the MAGA movement is more united than ever. Trump's second term promises to be a renaissance of American greatness, and the Left's tears will be the icing on the Christmas cookies. So here's to a Merry MAGA Christmas and a Happy New Year! May your holidays be filled with laughter, joy, and the sweet satisfaction of knowing that the best is yet to come. Cheers!        [SEGMENT 1-3] A Very MAGA Christmas 3 – CR   The Kevin Jackson Radio Show: Introduction "Welcome to The Kevin Jackson Radio Show, where we tackle the news the way Democrats handle the truth—recklessly, with a hint of holiday flair. Today, we're diving into the season's hottest topics: doom, debt, and Democrats throwing every trick in their playbook. Because nothing says 'Merry Christmas' like Leftist overreach and apocalyptic predictions. So Merry Xmas from the Democrats who gave us the gift of bigger government spending.Democrats Using the Entire Playbook First, the world will end if we can't fund the government. Forget that we play this little game every year, then we put it on steroids during a presidential transition. In this case, Democrats are jockeying to preserve what they want to call a great presidency, despite them nuking Old Joe into oblivion. Threatening shutdowns, twirling budget debates like a flaming baton. It's like Christmas caroling, but with fewer harmonies and more taxpayer extortion. Democrats claim the world will end if we don't raise the debt ceiling. Isn't it funny how we never run out of ways to spend money we don't have? And interestingly, we never seem to run out of money. Consider this: the national debt balloons yearly, no matter what legislation is passed—Balanced Budget Amendments, Pay-Go rules, you name it. The Democrats' new rallying cry? Save Christmas by saving government jobs. But let's be real. What happens when non-essential government employees are furloughed? Nothing. So, why do we have non-essential employees at all? Isn't “non-essential” just code for “we hired them because we can”? Trump sniffed out their treachery, because the stench of a Democrats can be smelled for miles by even the least sensitive nose. Trump had them rewrite the bill, shrinking it from 1500+ pages to 90ish. And Democrats declined to pass it. Who can blame them, as Trump's bill only contained the necessities and not all the pork Democrats are used to getting. But they do have a good reason to want the old bill: to save Christmas! The Budget Battle: Grinch Edition Now back to Hakeem Jeffries, who warns that without funding, Christmas will collapse. Flights will stop, chaos will ensue, and—wait for it—people will die in the streets. Someone hand this guy a script for It's a Wonderful Life. Funny thing is, every time we hit a budget crisis, the government shuts down briefly, everyone panics, and then… employees get paid anyway. So here's my question: why don't we trim the fat permanently? If a position is “non-essential,” it's probably also “non-taxpayer-worthy.” Let's give these people the greatest Christmas gift of all: a reason to update their résumés[SEGMENT 1-4] A Very MAGA Christmas 4 - Existential threats   I looked up all the things that are existential threats. https://www.sciencenews.org/article/threats-civilization-survival-humanity-apocalypse Nuclear war Bioengineered pandemic Superintelligence (quantum computing) Nanotechnology Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

Remember right before the 2020 election when CNN host Brian Stelter ran a lengthy segment explaining how the Hunter Biden laptop story was a big hoax, obviously generated in a conspiratorial manner by GOP partisans, likely in cahoots with Russia? Well, that makes one of you, since Brian himself claims it never happened. Except it did, which means that Brian Stelter is lying today about not having lied in the past. Quite the impressive tangle of lies — no wonder CNN has hired Stelter back after letting him go a couple of years ago. Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss how Stelter is himself guilty of everything he accuses Republicans of doing. Plus segments on former Obama administration official Van Jones admitting that Donald Trump is smarter than Democrats, footage of assassinated Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi predicting the demise of Syria, and Dr. Casey Means testifying about all the critical health information that
