Lena Luthor is accused of inadvertently poisoning children with her lead diffusion device, but Kara Danvers, whom she loves and who loves her, believes in her so much that Kara won't accept that Lena could have even accidentally done such a thing. Also, Sam might be up for that threesome Lena seemed to be angling for? We're not sure, but we think some wires got crossed, instead of, ahem, other things at the end of the episode. Kris and Stephanie discuss the Supercorp subtext of episode 3x05 of Supergirl. Things seem to be getting (secretly) serious between Kara Danvers and Lena Luthor! Stephanie and Kris offer their takes on that look that Lena gives Kara, as well as that other look that Lena gives Kara. We're talking about the Supercorp subtext in episode 3×04 of Supergirl. Annie and Kris discuss episodes 2x06 through 2x09 of Wynonna Earp. The relationships continue to be a highlight for Annie, especially Wynonna and Waverly as well as Waverly and Nicole. However, the burgeoning friendships between Wynonna and Nicole and between Jeremy, Doc, and Dolls also have been fun to watch. Rosita and Robert Svane have shown a refreshing and different side to the Revenants. Supergirl's second season has come to an end, and we discuss what worked and didn't work for us in the final five episodes. Here's the scoop: we really enjoyed "Ace Reporter" as well as the wonderfully different and complex older female characters who were around at the end of the season. Unfortunately, we cannot get behind the writers' attempt to transform Mon-El into a hero, and we are disappointed that so many characters played by people of color seemed to be shuffled to the side to make room for his storyline. Lena Luthor knows how to deal with those pesky Daxamites. For that, and many other reasons, we love her. Kris and Stephanie share their appreciation for Lena's engineering accomplishments in the Supergirl Season 2 finale, as well as offer some suggestions to Kara regarding with whom and how she might spend her time now. This podcast episode contains ludicrous luxuriating in Lena Luthor and her (non-canonical) love of Kara. More typical episode discussion is still to come. Discussion of what actually happened in the episode is still to come.) Find shownotes for Supergirl: Let’s Talk Lena! Kris and Stephanie discuss what worked and what didn't work for them in episodes 2x14 through 2x17 of Supergirl, as well as the musical crossover episode of The Flash, "Duet." We have a lot of love for 2x15 "Exodus" as well as Kara and Barry's musical team-up, but not so much for a particular Daxamite's storyline.
