Belleville Three: Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May和Juan Atkins那么,Juan Atkins和这两个未来的电子音乐传奇人物是如何走到一起的呢? 但最具代表性的要属《Alleys of Your Mind》和《Clear》。 其中一本书对我帮助最大,就是Richard推荐给我的,它叫《How To Make And Sell Your Own Record》。 3MB feat. 之后他还与底特律三杰——Derrick May、Kevin Saunderson、以及Dimitri Hegemann,Richie Hawtin和Jeff Mills 一起,出现在2022年的纪录片《God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines》中。 Track-List01.Cybotron - Most people think brain performance starts in the brain. But what if one of the biggest blocks to focus, clarity, healing, and emotional freedom is actually stored in your body?In this episode of the Kwik Brain podcast, I sit down with Garry Lineham, cofounder of Human Garage, and Alexis Banc, co-founder and CEO of Kwik Brain, to explore the powerful connection between fascia, stored stress, emotional release, and brain performance. Garry shares how years of chronic pain, trauma, and dependency on outside treatments pushed him to find a radically different path, one centered on self-healing and teaching people how to care for their own bodies. We talk about why emotions can live in the body, how physical restrictions may create cognitive load, and why your brain may be using more energy than necessary just to compensate for misalignment, pain, and stored survival patterns. Garry also explains how releasing stress through the body can unlock more mental clarity, more energy, and greater emotional freedom. This conversation goes deep into something most people never think about. That your body may be holding onto more than tension. It may be holding old stress.Old pain.Old survival responses. And your brain may be working overtime to manage all of it.In this episode, you'll learn:☑️ Why Garry believes emotions are stored in the body☑️ How fascia may affect stress, memory, perception, and brain performance☑️ Why chronic physical compensation can drain cognitive energy☑️ How survival mode may keep you stuck physically, mentally, and emotionally☑️ Why self-care is about more than supplements, routines, or external fixes☑️ How releasing physical tension may create more mental bandwidth☑️ Why the body may need to feel safe before the brain can fully let go☑️ A simple stress reset and finger exercise Garry shares for better brain functionIf you've been feeling tense or overwhelmed, this episode will give you a different lens on healing and a practical reminder that sometimes the fastest way to calm the mind is to start with the body.

Series: What's on Your Mind?; Scripture: Romans 6-7
Fire up the grill and grab a fresh pistachio muffin, because the What's on Your Mind show is broadcasting live from the Petro Serve USA station in beautiful Harwood, North Dakota. Host Scott kicks off a packed Friday Talk Radio Town Hall with U.S. Senator Kevin Kramer, diving headfirst into the high-stakes chess match with Iran, the real motives keeping the Strait of Hormuz tight, and whether it's time to "finish the job". Scott also gets remarkably candid about his recent travels to Norway, sparking an evolutionary look at America's food supply and the growing "Make America Healthy Again" movement. Later in the hour, the studio turns into an international stage. We sit down with four legal Persian-Iranian student and employment visa holders who share harrowing, first-hand accounts of the murderous regime back home, detailing the absolute gravity of public executions, internet blackouts, and the unintended fallout of the administration's recent sweeping visa pause. Scott gives a passionate call to action, offering listeners the exact blueprint to bypass the gatekeepers and let their voices be heard in Congress. Plus, we recap world-class insights from the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference with American Petroleum Institute CEO Mike Sommers, who lays out why AI, natural gas, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum are the key trifecta to winning the global tech race against China. Finally, we wrap up with an inspiring "Feel Good Friday" segment featuring Tracy Allen, founder of Amistad Worldwide, to explore how a grassroots North Dakota charity is rescuing castaway orphans and abandoned widows in India and Nepal through the power of clean water and local sewing centers. Standout Moments & Timestamps [00:01:25] Bullying the Globe for 50 Years: Senator Kevin Kramer breaks down the fundamental challenges of negotiating with a regime whose soldiers value dying more than living, exploring Trump's refusal to sign a weak, Obama-style nuclear clock-runner. [00:03:55] A Hooligan's Message to the Senate: Live at the pump, a decorated Air National Guard veteran from the "Hooligans" commands the mic, urging Senator Kramer to let the military finish the job for the North Dakota service members who paid in blood. [00:05:00] Squeezing the Pillows of Harwood: Scott breaks multi-tasking protocol to rave about the locally-sourced John & Wayne burgers and Petro Serve's famous daily-baked buns that are literally "as soft as a pillow". [00:07:45] The Whistleblower in the Grocery Aisle: Scott recounts his fourth journey to Norway, sharing how…
Your effort isn't the problem. Your programming is. Lewis Howes spent years outworking everyone around him, and it still wasn't enough. He had the discipline, the results, even the New York Times bestseller. But inside he still felt like that broke kid on the couch who wasn't enough. That gap between outer success and inner peace is where this episode begins. Most people are running a mental operating system they never chose. The beliefs you hold about money, love, and what you deserve weren't decisions you made. They were copied and pasted from your past, reinforced by your environment, and mistaken for facts. If you don't question that program, you'll keep repeating it for the next 10, 20, 30 years. This episode walks you through five specific steps to change that. Not just a mindset shift. A full identity shift. Because people don't fail for lack of effort. They fail because they try to change their behavior without changing who they believe they are. And your identity always wins. You can't build a new mind in an old environment. That means auditing the content you consume, the people you let in, and the conversations you keep having. Lewis shares what it actually cost him to walk away from relationships and environments that were quietly anchoring him to his old self, and why it was the only move that made everything else work. If you do the work here for 30 days, you won't just think differently. You'll start showing up differently. And that's when your results begin to match the version of you that you're building inside. Album «Look for Your Mind!» ist pure vibes.
Most students study the same way for every subject. But what if that is the exact reason so much of what you study never sticks? In this episode of the Kwik Brain podcast, I break down why one-size-fits-all studying fails and how to match your study strategy to the type of subject you are learning. Because the way your brain processes math is different from how it remembers history or understands literature.I share brain-based techniques from neuroscience, memory science, and learning psychology that can help you absorb, retain, and recall information faster, whether you are preparing for finals, standardized tests, or just want to learn more effectively. In this episode, you will learn:✅ Why studying every subject the same way hurts retention✅ How to make history easier to remember using story, melody, and memory palaces✅ Why math sticks better when you use movement, interleaving, and delayed feedback✅ How to study literature using mind mapping, teaching, and emotional connection✅ Why the Pomodoro technique can help you focus without burning out✅ How movement and hydration improve learning and recall✅ Why all-nighters sabotage memory and sleep helps lock learning in✅ How changing locations or using scent can create stronger retrieval cues✅ How to match the tool to the task so studying becomes easier and more effectiveThis is about studying in a way your brain actually understands, remembers, and can use when it matters most.
What if AI isn’t coming for your job — but for your mind? In this episode of Merryn Talks Money, Merryn Somerset Webb speaks to Tom Slater, manager of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust and partner at Baillie Gifford about his provocative paper, “AI Isn’t Coming for Your Job. It’s Coming for Your Mind,” and why the real risk may be a world that looks more productive while quietly losing the judgement, learning and expertise that make progress possible. She has also worked at NASA as the chair of Astrobiology, Exploration, and Scientific Innovation. Susan's book, Artificial You: AI and the Future of Your Mind, explores whether advanced AI systems could become conscious, and how we might design ways to test whether they truly are. In our mini-series on the nature of intelligence, we have talked with Simon Conway Morris about how intelligence naturally arose from billions of years of evolution. In upcoming episodes, we will also talk with Lazslo Barabasi and Christof Koch about the nature of consciousness, and how networks of individuals can produce collective intelligence that vastly exceeds the sum of its parts. Most people think brain decline happens later in life. But what if the foods you eat every day are already shaping your memory, focus, and long-term brain health? In this episode of the Kwik Brain podcast, I break down five of my favorite brain protective foods and why they matter more than most people realize. Research shows that poor nutrition is linked to smaller brain volumes, including reductions in the hippocampus, the part of the brain involved in memory and learning. The good news is you do not need a complicated diet to start protecting your brain.I walk through five simple foods that can help support a sharper, younger, more resilient brain, along with easy ways to add them into your routine and brain-friendly alternatives if one of them is not a fit for you.In this episode, you will learn:✅ Why poor nutrition is linked to reduced brain volume✅ How blueberries help fight oxidative stress and support memory✅ Why avocados and healthy fats matter for blood flow and brain clarity✅ How omega-3s in wild salmon support brain cells and communication between neurons✅ Why dark chocolate and matcha can support focus, reaction time, and motivation✅ How leafy greens support memory and slower cognitive aging✅ Brain-friendly swaps if you do not like one of the foods on the list✅ Easy ways to work these foods into your routine without overhauling your dietIf you want to protect your memory, stay focused longer, and support your brain as you age, this episode will show you where to start and how small nutrition habits can create real change over time.

Most people think AI will make life easier. But what if the way you are using it is quietly making your brain less engaged, less focused, and less capable of doing the deep work that real learning requires? In this episode of the Kwik Brain podcast, I break down what recent research is revealing about AI, memory, and cognitive performance, and why convenience can come at a cost when it replaces the mental effort your brain needs to grow.I show you how AI can create the illusion of learning, why that never leads to real mastery, and what becomes even more valuable in a world where everyone has access to instant answers. In this episode, you will learn:✅ What recent research suggests about AI and cognitive engagement✅ Why your brain gets weaker when you outsource too much thinking✅ The difference between using AI as a tool versus a shortcut✅ Why real learning requires effort, retrieval, and mental friction✅ Why human intelligence matters even more in the age of AI✅ How to use the ACT method: Ask, Challenge, Think✅ Why asking for structure is smarter than asking for final answers✅ How to challenge AI output so your critical thinking gets stronger✅ Why pausing before the next prompt helps turn passive learning into active learningThis is not about rejecting AI.It's about using it in a way that sharpens your brain, strengthens your thinking, and helps you stay mentally powerful in a world that is changing fast.
Warmup Set for Armin van Buuren, Big Night Live, Boston | March 20, 2026 Exactly one month to date. Opening for Armin van Buuren at Big Night Live was more than a warm-up set; it was a journey. With only four hours of club time in Boston, reading the room, feeling the energy, and guiding the audience where they want to go are essential to building the night properly. From deep progressive to peak-time melodic techno and trance, and a few classics, Boston, you were ready for all of it. Can California's governor's race get any airtime (a televised debate scratched after a controversy over four candidates who didn't make the cut), much less any traction with a disinterested electorate? Hoover senior fellow Lee Ohanian and distinguished policy fellow Bill Whalen, both contributors to Hoover's California on Your Mind web channel, discuss the latest in the Golden State including the public ostracization of labor icon Cesar Chavez after a New York Times exposé revealed dark secrets from his past; Los Angeles' penchant for spending follies (an 8-mile bike bridge to nowhere); and flawed ballot measures (including a “mansion tax” that's snarled SoCal housing construction); plus what three recent polls say about the Golden State's next wave of political leaders – and if former vice president Kamala Harris will be a part of that cohort. Recorded on March 26, 2026.

Lewis opens with a confession: he built a successful business, a massive audience, and a full life on paper and still couldn't enjoy any of it because he was building from fear, not freedom. That same trap is what keeps so many driven people stuck, running faster on a treadmill that leads nowhere. When you tie your identity to outcomes and try to control every result, every person's opinion, and every timeline, you cut yourself off from the very abundance you're chasing. In this solo episode, Lewis walks you through five specific things to release, from the outcome obsession to the timeline pressure society puts on you, so you can finally stop suffering through your own story. The shift is not about working less; it is about moving with more peace, more clarity, and more faith than you have ever allowed yourself to have. Lewis brings together seven of the world's leading voices in neuroscience, psychology, and human potential to reveal the hidden mechanics of manifestation. You'll hear from Gregg Braden on why your emotional environment is your most powerful tool, Dr. Joe Dispenza on the neuroscience of believing before seeing, and Rhonda Byrne on why talking about what you don't want keeps it locked in place. Dr. Tara Swart breaks down the brain science of visualization, while Dr. James Doty explains the physiology of intention and how synchronicities actually work. Gary Zukav illuminates the two fundamental laws that govern every result you create, and Tabitha Brown shares how walking in your truth is the only way to attract what's truly meant for you. These aren't abstract concepts. Every insight is grounded in science, backed by research, and proven in the real lives of people who've transformed everything from their health to their relationships to their bank accounts. The common thread is clear: your inner world creates your outer reality, and you have far more control than you've been taught to believe. Do you ever wonder why you're not seeing more breakthrough? Today I ask a powerful question: Are you listening to the Spirit, or stuck in your head trying to figure things out? Jesus read people's thoughts—not with logic, but by the Spirit. And we're called to operate the same way. In this message, I break down Mark chapter one and show you how powerful preaching disrupts darkness, why religious people miss moves of God, and how you can become a new wineskin ready for the next outpouring. Lewis opens with a truth most people avoid: you will never make the money you want until you believe you deserve it. Through his own journey from couch-surfing ex-football player to eight-figure media entrepreneur, he walks through the five steps that transformed not just his income but his entire relationship with money. The painful part most people skip is not the strategy, it is the internal work of recognizing your own value when everything around you tells you that you have none. Lewis also tackles the "work harder" myth head-on, explaining why grinding alone will never get you to the next level and what wealthy people actually do differently. Whether you are just starting out or you have hit a plateau you cannot seem to break through, this episode gives you a concrete, actionable path forward. California Governor Gavin Newsom pads his frequent-flier miles: after two trips to Europe already this year, a nationwide tour promoting his new memoir (and presidential prospects). Meanwhile, political upheaval finds its way to disaster-prone Los Angeles with a plot twist in an already contentious mayoral race and calls for the chair of LA's 2028 Summer Olympics to resign over his ties to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Hoover senior fellow Lee Ohanian and distinguished policy fellow Bill Whalen, both contributors to Hoover's California on Your Mind online journal, discuss the latest in the Golden State, including how Newsom's autobiography squares with his governance record and the prospects of Los Angeles joining the ranks of cities ruled by “Democratic socialism”. Recorded on February 19, 2026. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Lee E. Ohanian is a senior fellow (adjunct) at the Hoover Institution and a professor of economics and director of the Ettinger Family Program in Macroeconomic Research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on economic crises, economic growth, and the impact of public policy on the economy. Ohanian is coeditor of Government Policies and Delayed Economic Recovery (Hoover Institution Press, 2012). He is a frequent media commentator and writes for Hoover's web channel, California on Your Mind. He has won numerous teaching awards at UCLA and the University of Rochester. Bill Whalen, the Virginia Hobbs Carpenter Distinguished Policy Fellow in Journalism and a Hoover Institution research fellow since 1999, writes and comments on campaigns, elections, and governance with an emphasis on California and America's political landscapes. Whalen writes on politics and current events for various national publications, as well as Hoover's California On Your Mind web channel. Whalen hosts Hoover's Matters of Policy & Politics podcast and serves as the moderator of Hoover's GoodFellows broadcast exploring history, economics, and geopolitical dynamics. ABOUT THE SERIES Matters of Policy & Politics, a podcast from the Hoover Institution, examines the direction of federal, state, and local leadership and elections, with an occasional examination of national security and geopolitical concerns, all featuring insightful analysis provided by Hoover Institution scholars and guests. A neuroscientist and brain surgeon told Lewis that emotional regulation is the single most important skill every human being should master, yet most of us were never taught how to do it.You know that feeling of waking up already exhausted, scrolling your phone before your feet hit the floor, and saying yes to things that drain you just to avoid conflict. Most people are burned out not because they are doing too much, but because they are doing too much of what does not actually matter to them and too little of what brings them joy. These nine practices are not about overhauling your life overnight. They are small, stackable habits like protecting your first ten minutes each morning, naming your emotions without judgment, and creating mental closure before bed so tomorrow gets the best version of you.Make Money Easy: Create Financial Freedom and Live a Richer LifeThe Greatness Mindset: Unlock the Power of Your Mind and Live Your Best Life TodayThe Mask of Masculinity: How Men Can Embrace Vulnerability, Create Strong Relationships, and Live Their Fullest LivesThe School of Greatness: A Real-World Guide to Living Bigger, Loving Deeper, and Leaving a LegacyIn this episode you will:Discover why your attention is your most valuable resource and how giving it away first thing in the morning sets you up for a reactive, stressful dayMaster the art of setting boundaries that protect your energy without pushing people away so you can stop resenting the people you said yes toUncover the hidden cost of avoiding hard conversations and how tackling one uncomfortable thing each day compounds faster than motivation ever willUnderstand why consistency beats intensity when it comes to movement and how even ten minutes of daily exercise builds unshakeable self-respectLearn the simple shutdown ritual that will help you stop carrying today's stress into tomorrow and finally wake up feeling restedFor more information go to https://lewishowes.com/1879For more Greatness text PODCAST to +1 (614) 350-3960More SOG episodes we think you'll love:Lewis Howes [SOLO]Dr. Joe DispenzaDr. Marc Brackett Get more from Lewis! Lewis shares the moment he realized that achieving his biggest goals left him feeling exactly as empty as before, discovering that success amplifies who you already are rather than fixing what's broken inside. He walks you through the painful process of confronting the wounds he spent years trying to outrun through achievement, explaining why your unhealed pain will always surface in your relationships, habits, and ability to lead. You'll learn why comfort feels safe but acts as a trap that keeps you stuck, how your ego protects you while simultaneously limiting your growth, and why the most liberating moment of your life happens when you stop waiting for someone to rescue you. This isn't about motivation or quick fixes, it's about the uncomfortable work that creates lasting transformation and genuine inner peace.Make Money Easy: Create Financial Freedom and Live a Richer LifeThe Greatness Mindset: Unlock the Power of Your Mind and Live Your Best Life TodayThe Mask of Masculinity: How Men Can Embrace Vulnerability, Create Strong Relationships, and Live Their Fullest LivesThe School of Greatness: A Real-World Guide to Living Bigger, Loving Deeper, and Leaving a LegacyIn this episode you will:Discover why chasing achievement without inner work creates an endless cycle of emptiness and how to build true worthiness from the inside out instead of seeking it through external validation.Understand the difference between being fearless and being familiar with fear, and why taking action before you feel ready is the only way to build genuine confidence.Break through the exhausting pattern of wearing masks to protect yourself and learn why vulnerability is actually strength trained in silence, not weakness.Uncover how your inner circle either expands or limits your future in every moment, and why choosing your friends is literally choosing the trajectory of your entire life.Transform your relationship with failure by recognizing that your ego, not the failure itself, is what stops your growth, and why being seen while trying and failing opens up entirely new levels of opportunity. For more information go to https://lewishowes.com/1876For more Greatness text PODCAST to +1 (614) 350-3960More SOG episodes we think you'll love:Dr. Daniel AmenPrice PritchettDanny Morel Get more from Lewis! Lewis opens with a hard truth: goals don't fail because your dreams are too big, they fail because your system is too weak. He shares the exact framework he's used for 13 years to show up consistently for his podcast, master public speaking from a place of crippling fear, and build multiple streams of success. Through personal stories of sleeping on his sister's couch while dreaming of speaking on big stages, Lewis proves that massive transformation starts with micro actions you take today. He breaks down how writing your goals increases success by 43%, why accountability kept Mr. Beast and his mastermind partners locked in for 1,000 consecutive days, and how celebrating progress instead of chasing perfection will change your relationship with achievement forever.
