A weekly improvised podcast that discusses (made-up) films hosted by @urboyloljk
In the season 1 finale of Forgotten Films, we discuss the film Herbie: Looking For Love, starring Andrew Dice Clay and Fran Drescher. We also talk about the Amazon acquisition of MGM but we're both too stupid to have any sort of real opinion on it. And guess what, folks? We're revisiting Cinema Island and even making our predictions on this summer's sizzling blockbusters. You won't want to miss it actually. Sam Rogal (Magnet Theater) joins me in Film Nerd Studios to talk about the 2011 period piece Something Maybe Sometimes Always. We discuss the P in V (very nasty), cousin love (second time I think it's been talked about on the podcast), and whispering sweetly. Then we take a trip to the Writer's Room to rewrite the Mortal Kombat movie. Okay this is a big long writer's room segment because we both like Mortal Kombat and want to see it be better. Alright? Got it? Any questions? ALSO IMPORTANT: I left the part that I said I would edit in ON PURPOSE! Another important thing: if you have a suggestion for a film you want to hear to hear us discuss aka make up email me at forgottenfilmspodcast@gmail.com or DM @filmspodcast on Twitter!
Art Cai and Fernando Ruiz from the Teach Me Good podcast join me to take a trip to the trailer park. We watch five movie trailers and give our thoughts. Some are good. Some are bad. Some aren't even real trailers! We also talk about Elon Musk hosting SNL (spoiler alert: his last name's musk cause he smells like shit!) and another piece of Reel News that I forget so why don't you listen to the show and when you find out what it is DM me @filmspodcast on Twitter and let me know. We discuss Jon Favreau and Peppers the Monkey's on-set rivalry, an early Jake Gyllenhaal, and how fucking hard and frustrating it is to spell Favreau and Gyllenhaal. We also visit Cinema Island and talk about which fictional characters we'd hug. This episode is dedicated to the actors and crew who were maimed during the filming of Going Bananas. On today's episode, Julia Schroeder and Mary Beth Kolbicz from She's Good Pod step into Film Nerd Studios to talk about the classic film Quacksketball. We talk about the bloopers and goofs that happen in the background, the way the duck shoots the ball, and Jason Biggs and Sarah Michelle Geller's sloppy kiss. Also, we enter the Writer's Room and choose our fighters in a big movie crossover matchup. Here's the crossover fights article. Check out Julia and Mary Beth's podcast here. It's my party I can cry if I want to. So, this week we're changing the format! We are visiting The Trailer Park. We watch 4 trailers and review them in real-time. You will hear the trailers. You will not see the trailers. If you want to see the trailers, l put them below. Joining me for the reviewing of trailers is Matt Aromando (TeaBD podcast, Sketche Comedy, Magnet Theater). There is also an uncle update (very sad news BTW thanks for asking) and I intro a new segment that will be a permanent fixture on the show to allow us to complete these episodes each week. Actor and comedian Brendan Goggins joins Simon to be very mean to Simon and to also talk about Ryan's Farm, written and directed by the third Cohen brother, Gary Cohen.
