We begin this episode by acknowledging the passing of a truly incredible actress — one who played a pivotal role in the life and legacy of Woody Allen, among many others in Hollywood and beyond. Diane Keaton (1946–2025) will be deeply missed.     She passed away the very next day after we recorded this episode, and I (Don) actually found out during the editing phase. In typical Gunn fashion, the DC Studios co-chair has teased this film isn't a direct sequel, but is the next installment in what he calls the “Superman saga.” The film's title is reminiscent of the Milly Alcock led Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which releases next year. This massive box office marks the best for this franchise ever, and the third biggest opening for a horror film of all-time. Warner Brothers and New Line are laughing all the way to the bank, having projected a $35 million opening box office and the movie cost about $55 million to make. The film's global take as of today is $194 million.
