Is change really a scary thing? I mean, there are moments in our lives where we are forced to change for either the better or worse, and most of the time, we are too afraid to do so. Change isn’t necessarily a good or bad thing. It’s just the way we perceive them. If anything, they are necessary. We need change in order to grow and evolve as a person/human being, but often times we fight this. Why is that? What makes us so reluctant to change? In today’s podcast, we will explore some of these ideas and hopefully in the future expand more on some of these thoughts.

I was at the mall today, just meandering, window shopping to pass some time. I was zoned out in my own world when all of a sudden I heard a kid just shouting and yelling at his mom. I kid you not, this kid said to his mother, “I hate you mom, you never get me anything that I want!” at this moment, his mom assured the kid that just last week, she bought him a brand new video game. The kid continues to throw a temper tantrum and act a fool. I continued to go about my business, until I encountered another mother and child scenario. This one irked me a little bit as well. In this scenario, a mother was talking to her daughter about how special she was and was just coddling the shit out of this girl. Now I’m all for positive reinforcements with your kids and all, but damn lady, your kid is not that special. I continue about my business and then I came to the thought of, “is this how every parent sees their kids”? As someone special? I get it it’s your kid and you’re proud of having them, but to treat them like they are the tits, is beyond me. So in today’s podcast, I will rant about whether or not today’s kids are being too coddled. Hope you enjoy today’s episode.
It’s that time of year again folks, where we get to spend the day enjoying the gluttony of stuffing our faces with food, football, and family. Hopefully throughout the episode, I will be fielding some quesitons, comments, concersns about what you love about Thanksgiving as well. Tune in and enjoy this episode of Guys of the Roundtable with me.
