Hi, I’m Dr. Tim Zittle (@drtimzittle on Instagram) and this is my weekly podcast where I create informative and short episodes designed to make personal growth fun again so you can become the best version of yourself. This isn't your normal podcast. You won't find perfect points or off the wall creativity that is shrouded in fluff… just my personal spin on how to utilize what has already made so many others successful, paired with growth mindsets and through the lens of practical and personal insights so you can cut the learning curve and create success at any level.
I had the express privilege of taking an amazing trip with some of my best friends down to Mexico- one of which- Libby Perrington from the Life With Libby brand, was absolutely life changing. Fortunately- we had the mic on hand and were able to record most of the key talking points that kept surfacing throughout the week- relationships- love- hurt- rebuilding- and most importantly- falling in love with yourself. This is one of the best episodes we've done yet! It's got a little colourful language, but as long as that doesn't deter you- I believe this could be revolutionary towards giving you some tools on how to live out loud a little better- with some laughs along the way.
If you're struggling with the pain of the body blows that life often deals when you're working hard towards success at any level- then this episode is just for you. A few quick tips on how to overcome adversity and press through towards break through and keeping your dreams alive.
Back in what seems like forever ago, I was introduced to a humble up and coming speaker and coach named Ronnie Doss. 8 years later, he's not only an international leader/performance coach/mentorship guru, but is one of my closest friends and has continued to mentor me in a way that has indescribably changed my life. In the first segment we're going to call "Mentored," we break down one of my conversations with Ronnie as we talked about feeling "not enough" and what it means to improve your growth and quality of life by "living in the question."
Do you love 67% verbal vomit of whatever is on someone's mind and 33% of detailed relevant content? This might be the episode made just for you then! We talk about how my voice sounds staged, processing out loud, my favourite road trip snacks and much more. We also cover the importance of knowing what you're inputting and how that will affect your output and future potential on the side.
I'm so excited to be back and better than ever for Season 2! This episode breaks down the space between our last episode and now in terms of personal growth and one of the most important tools I've used to overcome adversity along the way.

In this conversation we tackle what it means to sell better and to use metrics for success that lead to better long term gains and profits as opposed to short term wins that leave people feeling inadequate and insecure.
In this episode- we'll break down the differences between real and fake leaders, leaders and managers, Leaders and leaders. If we truly want to make an impact, then growing ourselves as leaders isn't a luxury- it's a necessity.
In this episode I give a quick breakdown of three reasons why we should shake out of our comfort zone, put down the screen and find our people. Because life can be good but it's always better together with others.
Are you tired of having to recruit new fans, team members or customers because the hole in the bucket is just as big as the opening you're pouring leads into? Research shows in overwhelming form that it's always easier to retain your current clients/fans/team than it is to find new fits. In this episode we break down the four categories of retention and how you can better create an environment to keep your people- and get them sending you more!
One of the most common questions I'm asked is- how did you come up with the name "Treehive" for your business? This episode breaks down the history behind that name and some suggestions as to how you can choose the best name for your enterprise.

Have you had success with finding great mentors? Have you ever tried to be a mentor? Some people- including me- have benefitted massively from mentoring and others steer clear. If you're someone who has either tried a mentoring relationship and want more, or someone who's never yet had a successful mentoring experience- this episode will help you to better understand the benefits of mentoring relationships as well as three ways you can better set yourself up for success in that area.

Life is full of options and in today's day and age- more so than ever before. Yet as a nation- we consistently find ourselves more and more depressed and disappointed and less happy and fulfilled. Why is this? In this episode we are going to tackle the essential nature of suffering and adversity to achieving success and creating more joy in your life. We'll work through how to learn the love of the process rather than just wishing to go straight to the mountaintop and hating the in between. Are you having a hard time choosing your struggle? Reach out and lets talk!
Studies show that people in the US listen to an average of 32 hours of music every week. That is a large amount of time to be doing any one thing! There's so many people out there faking it til they make it. Posing as something they're not in order to be seen as successful before they are. In a world full of filters and fake- the real way to win is to embrace the humility that comes from losing. You either win or you learn.
In this episode we discuss the DO's and DON'TS of networking as a foundational skill. I share how networking has added value to my life, and how I've been able to successfully build multiple businesses through utilizing the right networking strategies and avoiding the wrong ones. Make sure you keep an eye out for the GOLDEN QUESTION hidden within the "do" section of this podcast and shoot me a message @drtimzittle on instagram or facebook if you want to talk through more networking tips!
Another raw conversation where being present, struggling through adversity and how to show up are the prevailing theme. This episode will help you ask better questions on how to be open in the moment and look less through the lenses of your past while creating value not only for yourself first, but others in the process.

My top takeaways from a hugely impactful conference in Utah. Continuing education is a HUGE way to stay grounded and improving. There's no such thing as having “arrived” or being able to maintain. If you're not growing, you're... doing something opposite of growing which is never ideal.
It was only fitting for the first interview of this entire podcast that I bring on someone who's been my greatest teacher in life. He's my biggest hero, a consistent source of inspiration, and he just so happens to be my dad. We've split this interview into 2 parts to keep it lighter and easier to break down and take away from. I really believe you'll find an immense amount of value in some lessons from a Funeral Director... I know I have.

Once upon a time... Stories are transformational. Think of them as conversational currency. If you want to stand out, be remembered and make an impact - you will need to employ storytelling as an everyday tool. In this episode, we break down the three basic parts of every story and how to create drama and tension that will keep people invested in what you have to say before leaving them on a high point that will make a difference. What is your favourite story? DM me @drtimzittle to share!
As this podcast takes shape more and more with every episode, I've realized that there are some really fun themes to package specific topics that will add value to you. In this episode, we explore the first of our LIFE HACKS- dealing with the importance of authenticity and genuineness. People would rather follow someone who is always real as opposed to someone who is always right. These are 10 of the ways I've learned to show up more genuine and authentic in my everyday life, strengthening my relationships and furthering my sphere of influence. I hope at least one of these resonates with you too and pushes you towards more success. You deserve that!
Are you ready? This is a second take on a fire stream of consciousness I had after coming back from a conference with my team. In the past, I'd have been anxious and censored in an environment like that. This time- I showed up as myself and what I learned from that is the continuation of an idea that is radically changing my life day by day. Here's to hoping you see freedom in this area of your life soon too. Is there a place where you're feeling stuck or held back? DM me @drtimzittle and let's talk about it!
The third and final part of the 3-part breakdown of The Golden Circle concept made popular by Simon Sinek. This episode breaks down societal norms when it comes to selling ideas and how that won't easily get you the results you want. We also address the biology behind logical vs. emotional sales, mirror walls at apartments and tie it all up with a bow so you can create your "Why/How/What" for yourself and your passion. Have a topic you want to hear more about? Message me on social @drtimzittle
Building off of Episode 1, we break down the question "How" from Simon Sinek's Golden Circle concept with some new ideas and easy ways to implement. If the "Why" is the purpose, the "How" is the strategy for executing on that purpose in an effective and excellent way. Also included is a quick challenge on becoming a better communicator and personal examples on how we've created a unique selling proposition and are living out our most authentic why/how within the context of my clinic. Like what you hear? Comment or message me on social to request a topic for a future episode!
To set the stage for our podcast moving forward- I outline the most important question you can ask to help you channel your passion and fire into any career, hobby or venture in which you want to become successful. Cut the curve: the majority of this episode is based off of knowledge pulled from the teaching/writing of Simon Sinek, all of which I have personally applied in my life and businesses with huge success. Want to discover more for yourself? Check out his TED talk "Start With Why" as well as his books "Start With Why" and "Find Your Why."
In this episode, I introduce the "Ideaology" podcast, tell you the story behind it's creation as well as project what to expect from future episodes.
