And this week is no different! “The One About Kate Perrault and Sophia” is here to show you all that hope, kindness, generosity and family. So nestle down with your furry friend on the couch to listen, or grab your earbuds and leash and tune in to hear all about Kate finding her soul dog–Sophia!

Host, Lindsay Eland, combined three of her amazing dogs into one episode because sadly, she didn't have any of them for very long. But that doesn't mean they were any less special or impactful on her and her heart. Please listen in to hear about these beautiful souls and to remember them and their lives!  And as we are into the Holiday Season, let's try to get adoptable dogs and cats a forever home for the holidays! This story is special to my heart because it's the story of one of my daughter's, Ella, and her sweet little dog, Gurdy and how they found each other. Adopting Gurdy was right after she had lost her other beloved dog, Duchess, so it was full of soul-soothing as well as confusion and guilt. One thing starting this podcast has done for me is connect me with so many amazing people in the rescue world--whether that means people who have started a rescue, or they foster, or they do other things in the rescue community. My cousin, @kd8267 got in touch with me a few months ago about a friend of hers who I just had to interview. I, of course, said, “absolutely!” and got in touch with Elizabeth to hear and share her story with all of you. It's her story of how she rescued her beloved little Goldie and how 5 minutes of courage can lead you to make “the best mistake” of your life. It's a story of how one little shelter dog can change the course of your life for the better. 

Today, host Lindsay Eland, talks with media director, Gina, over at Do Over Dogs, a rescue here in Denver, Colorado.
