I started this organization because I saw a need to share the wisdom and knowledge I obtained from my academic preparation, personal life experiences and teachings from the bible to empower the next generation. I am a 2nd generation Latin immigrant living in the United States teaching leadership principles with the understanding that balancing culture, faith and calling can be quite the challenge. I have a master's degree in Latino American and Caribbean Studies and over 25 years of working in the educational arena as an administrator, college advisor and university instructor. God has called me to share my life experiences and education to create a curriculum that strengthen women and empowers them to move forward in power and in the strength of the Lord. I believe that we are only as strong as we empower the next generation. I believe in passing on leadership truths in love and in power. Hello ladies! Today we talk about, “You Are More Than Your Title" As a Latina, I always thought a leader was one that was an authoritarian, extremely intelligent and highly accomplished. I thought of a leader as an identity or position that was out of my reach. However, life has taught me that this is not true. We are all leaders in some capacity. I also thought that a leader was primarily a man. Religion taught me that as a female, I did not have God's permission or approval to lead. This was also erroneous. Once I began to read the bible for myself and I learned the true definition of a leader, I realized that I was a leader. In other words, the family takes priority over your individual interests and development. Our teachings come from a female perspective and have biblical principles added into them. We also address challenges and issues that women face daily and provide practical answers on how to overcome these challenges and have success in this changing global society. As founder of this organization, I feel that I am equipped professionally and educationally to teach these principles because of my life experiences partnered with a master's degree in Latino American and Caribbean Studies.
