Are you trapped handling guest management; spending hours coordinating schedules, pitching, and editing endless long-form conversations every week? Defaulting to a weekly interview format is the quickest way to hit severe podcasting burnout. While everyone insists that interviewing guests is the only way to build a show, managing the administrative backend and tech glitches often dilutes your own authority and pulls you away from high-level client work. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, I challenge the standard weekly interview trap and break down three high-impact alternative podcast styles that streamline your production time while delivering powerful business results. This week, episode 297 of Podcasting Unlocked is about exploring alternative structures for your podcast outside of the weekly interview format! In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, I'm sharing the importance of finding a podcasting style that works for you and actionable steps you can take right now to reclaim your time and combat burnout. I also chat about the following: Break Free from Administrative Fatigue: Understand the hidden costs of guest-heavy shows, including scheduling logistics, pitch management, and complex multi-track audio editing.Launch a Seasonal Limited Series: Discover how structuring your show into distinct seasons allows you to batch record months of content in a few days, giving you permission to step away from production to focus on client work.Master Solo Strategy Sessions: Learn why short, 10-to-15-minute bite-sized episodes centering your proprietary frameworks build fast audience trust, drive SEO traffic, and generate targeted B2B leads.Curate Strategic Compilations: Explore how grouping existing clips from your backlog into themed roundup episodes extends your content's lifespan with minimal transition recording.Pivot Formats Without Losing Listeners: Master a smooth, transparent transition plan that communicates format changes to your audience as an upgraded, high-value experience.Look at your recording calendar for next month. Swap out just one scheduled guest recording for a short, 10-minute solo strategy session that directly answers the number one question your prospective clients ask you. Test the waters and see how your audience responds! Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above. Thank you for listening! He thought: there has to be a better way.Fast forward to his fortieth birthday. Anthony is on a private yacht off the coast of Italy. Have you ever felt like you're capable of more, but something keeps holding you back? This message reveals how hidden lies, false labels, and limiting beliefs can keep you stuck long after God has already set you free. Discover what the Bible teaches about breaking free from a "grasshopper mentality," embracing your God-given identity, and living without the limitations you've accepted. In this sermon, Pastor Travis Hearn of Impact Church teaches how God removes the invisible lids that keep people trapped in fear, insecurity, shame, and self-doubt so they can walk confidently into His purpose. In this sermon, you'll learn: Why the lies you believe can limit your future more than your circumstances How to stop defining yourself by labels from your past What the "grasshopper mentality" is and how it keeps people from God's promises Why Jesus speaks to who you're becoming—not who you've been How to release the limitations that have been holding you back What it means to truly live in the freedom Christ has already given you The lid isn't what's holding you back anymore. The prison door has already been opened. The question is whether you'll keep living like you're confined—or step into the freedom, purpose, and identity God has already spoken over your life. Today is the day the brake comes off, the lies come off, and the lid comes off.

Have you ever felt completely empty while trying your hardest to do things for God?In Part 2 of our series, Submerged, we're pulling back the curtain on a massive trap that catches so many believers: replacing a raw, intimate relationship with Jesus with practical religion and "Hell insurance."Through personal stories of teenage mistakes, dealing with the devastating aftermath of a stolen ministry trailer, and breaking free from toxic, legalistic environments, this episode is a direct challenge to change the narrative of who you are. Stop trying to grow from a place of who you were, and start living from a place of who He is.It's time to stop wading in the shallow end of performance-based faith, drop the religious mechanics, and give Jesus a full invitation to fill every single aspect of your day-to-day life.Key Takeaways from This Episode:Rooted: Why salvation means inviting Jesus into the parts of your life that already exist, rather than constantly trying to perform for Him.Raised: How choosing to lift up the name of Jesus disarms the enemy and shifts your perspective in the middle of a crisis.Revived: Reclaiming the pure, child-like joy of simply being close to your Creator without the heavy weight of clerical rules.—To connect, learn more or donate, visit gravetopchurch.com  Follow us on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok by searching @gravetopchurch

When was the last time you underestimated something? As we learn fromweek 11 of our series on the book of Acts, living a life of hypocrisy is more dangerous than we realize. The good news is that God is also much bigger and closer than we realize, and He holds the keys to freedom! Pastor James Savage unpacks the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 4:32-5:11. While many assume this story is about money or generosity, it’s actually about something far more personal: hypocrisy, hidden sin and the exhausting pressure to live a double life. Have you ever felt the pressure to look like you have everything together, even when you don’t? Hypocrisy keeps us trapped in shame, but the Gospel reminds us that confession leads to freedom – because His grace is always greater than our sin. If you’ve ever struggled to be honest about what you’re carrying, this message is a reminder that you don’t have to keep pretending. The Gospel isn’t for perfect people; it’s for people willing to step into the light. Let us know in the comments what encouraged or challenged you most from this message. Are you feeling wired but tired? Connected yet lonely? Inspired but completely stuck? In this episode of Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger Green explains why we are experiencing a wild energetic recalibration in 2026. The frequencies of our planet are accelerating, and our physical bodies are struggling to keep up. This can cause us to get sucked back into "recycled energetic loops"—old narratives, resentments, and outdated identities. Instead of digging deeper into psychoanalysis or therapy to fix it, Amanda shares a powerful, highly effective physiological hack involving your subconscious daily habits (like brushing your teeth or driving) to instantly shift your brain hemispheres, create new neural pathways, and elevate your energetic baseline. In this episode, you’ll learn: Why you are feeling massive polarity in your energy field right now. How to become the observer of your consciousness without judgment. The "non-dominant hand" physiological trick to break negative thought loops. Why it’s time to put psychoanalysis on the shelf and focus on physics and physiology. What physical detox symptoms (ringing ears, sleep disruptions) mean for your field. We want to hear from you! What is shifting in your energy field? What are you experiencing telepathically or psychically right now? Are your dreams changing? Host: Amanda Rieger Green Subscribe to Amanda's YouTube HERE! Why do so many women reach midlife and suddenly feel like everything is harder than it used to be? In this powerful conversation, Dr. Mariza sits down with nationally recognized clinical psychologist, behavioral change expert, and author Dr. Rachel Goldman to explore why so many women feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, and stuck during major life transitions. Dr. Rachel explains how stress, changing responsibilities, shifting identities, motherhood, career demands, and body changes can create a sense of losing yourself—and why the answer isn't pushing harder, but learning how to respond differently. Together, they discuss the mindset shifts that help women navigate change with more self-compassion, flexibility, and resilience. They also explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how simple tools from cognitive behavioral therapy can help break patterns that keep us stuck. Dr. Rachel also shares why self-care doesn't have to mean adding another overwhelming task to your list. Instead, small intentional moments like movement, breathing, time outside, connection, and creating a reset can completely shift how you show up in your life. If you've been wondering whether you'll ever feel like yourself again, this episode is a reminder that change doesn't mean you've lost who you are—it may be an invitation to step into your next chapter with more strength and confidence. When the luteal phase hits, it's easy to believe you're “too much,” to hide what you need, or to assume you and your partner are simply not compatible. We slow that down and name what's really happening: a predictable cycle, a stressed nervous system, and a relationship dynamic that needs tools, not shame. We dig into what it means to choose a PMDD-compatible partner, especially the kind of compatibility that holds up on the hard days, not just during follicular and ovulation when everything feels easy. We talk about people pleasing, self-abandonment, and how resentment builds when you keep giving while your own needs go unnamed. Then we get practical with the three needs that show up in every intimate relationship: affection, attention, and validation. If you don't ask, your partner can't reliably respond, and “out of nowhere” conflict is rarely out of nowhere. You'll also hear a simple phrase that can de-escalate a spiral fast: “My PMDD brain is tricking me again.” It's a bridge between self-awareness and communication, so your partner understands what's happening without you having to find perfect words mid-wave. We keep it real about responsibility too: PMDD isn't your fault, but it is your responsibility to manage, and being yourself never means being harmful. If you want support that's customized to your relationship, check out the Freedom Sale: go to inlovewithpmdd.com, use code freedom, and get $50 off private sessions. On the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, it's time for a new kind of revolution. On today's special show, I derive lessons from that faithful day and how to apply our founding ethos to today's debacle. But we have to first want dramatic change. The problem is that many so-called conservatives are too comfortable with the status quo of the GOP and the way it governs. I'm joined by Noah Wall, president of the State Leadership Initiative, to discuss the uncomfortable truth about red America: Our so-called conservative states are crippled by federal dependency and corporate welfare. From billions of taxpayer dollars funneled into woke corporations to accepting socialist federal mandates just to keep Medicaid and SNAP funding flowing, red states are subsidizing the very institutions trying to destroy them. It's time to break the umbilical cord, end the venture socialism of the modern GOP, and reclaim state sovereignty before it's too late. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

How much of your team's struggle is really about the work and how much is about everything else? In this episode, Kevin talks with Dr. Liane Davey about why the real challenge many teams face isn't simply workload, but "thought load". Liane defines this as the rising cognitive demands, emotional burdens, and depleted energy reserves that make work feel heavier than it may appear. She explains how multitasking, constant urgency, oversized meetings, unclear priorities, and poor energy habits quietly drain performance and create more rework, stress, and burnout. She also shares practical ways leaders can help, including replacing urgency with true priority, creating space for focused work, taking real breaks, managing emotions rather than ignoring them, and modeling healthier boundaries. Sometimes relationships remain painfully stuck despite our prayers, countless conversations, forgiveness and every effort to make things better. When someone we love continues in unhealthy patterns, we can find ourselves replaying every interaction, questioning our decisions and wondering if we simply haven't tried or prayed hard enough. Or, we might question our perspective, wondering if we're being overly sensitive and simply need to offer more grace. Yet, we still hurt and our anxiety remains. In this episode, Jennifer Slattery and neuropsychologist Dr. Michelle Bengtson explore how to accept difficult realities without losing hope, recognize unhealthy relational patterns, establish wise boundaries and guard our hearts against bitterness while remaining open to God's work. Together, they discuss the difference between reconciliation and responsibility, why forgiveness frees our own souls and how we can experience lasting peace even when someone we love chooses not to change. Fourteen hours of excruciating pain, a hospital emergency room, and a curtain separating her from another patient's groaning and complaints — and then, just as the medicine began to kick in, a quiet and unsettling invitation in Kelly Balarie's mind: doesn't it feel good to be taken care of? Doesn't it feel nice to finally get the attention and compassion you've been needing? In this raw and spiritually perceptive episode, Kelly describes the moment she recognized that voice for exactly what it was — and refused to sign the contract it was offering. The paralytic man in John 5 had been lying on his mat for thirty-eight years. He had reasons, excuses, and circumstances that seemed to justify staying exactly where he was. But Jesus did not coddle his pain or validate his helplessness. He simply said: get up, pick up your mat, and walk. Kelly draws a clear and challenging parallel between that man's mat and the mat of self-pity we can each find ourselves lying on — sometimes without even realizing it. Pain is real, need is real, and suffering deserves compassion. But there is a difference between receiving care and making a home in helplessness. The invitation from Jesus is always the same: rise up. Take a step. Walk. Bible Verse "Then Jesus said to him, 'Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.'"— John 5:8, NIV Ponder Today Self-pity can masquerade as a need for compassion. The enemy is not above using real pain and real vulnerability to lure us into a posture of ongoing helplessness. Recognizing the difference between genuine need and self-pity is a spiritually important act. Looking to people for what only God can provide will always leave us empty. When we seek from others the validation, attention, and care that only God can truly give, we set ourselves up for deeper disappointment and deeper need. Pain is often healed as we take a new step. Healing rarely comes in full before we are asked to move. Like the paralytic who rose and walked, sometimes obedience to the command precedes the complete restoration we are longing for. Reject the enemy's contracts early. The invitation to stay down, stay sick, and stay sorry for yourself is subtle and can feel reasonable in a moment of vulnerability. Identify it, name it, and refuse it — just as Kelly did in that hospital room. A Prayer for You Today Father, help us when we feel down and out — when it seems like there is no way forward. Show us Your way instead. May we rise up according to Your strength and not our own. Help us not to look to people for what only You can truly provide. May we be strong in the power of Your might, and may we have the courage to pick up our mats and walk. In Jesus' name, Amen. No one likes to throw up. But for some, the mere thought of vomiting is a Level 12 emergency that halts life in its tracks. Imagine avoiding bars, concerts, and even the grocery store because a stranger might look "pale." This is the reality of emetophobia—a debilitating fear of vomiting that often hides in the shadows of more common diagnoses like anxiety or eating disorders. In this episode, we peel back the layers of this misunderstood condition with ADAA member expert Ken Goodman, LCSW, and emetophobia sufferer Lorraine Leal. Ken breaks down why emetophobia is far more than a gross-out reaction; it is a complex anxiety disorder that forces sufferers to construct elaborate safety behaviors just to survive the day. Lorraine shares her raw, personal journey of living with a fear so intense she would rather die than vomit. She details the isolation of being labeled a bad friend for avoiding germ-filled social spaces and the crushing guilt of feeling like a burden on her family. Listener Takeaways Understanding that for many, the fear of others getting sick is just as paralyzing Learn how safety behaviors can actually fuel the phobia instead of preventing the danger Recognize why emetophobia is frequently mistaken for other disorders Learn what type of therapist to seek out to treat this unique disorder Tune in to dive into the overlap between emetophobia and OCD, the safety behaviors that keep sufferers trapped, and a surprising look at why treatment doesn't actually involve being forced to vomit. This episode has been sponsored by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). "Some people would rather die than vomit, and that is something that most onlookers don't see." ~Lorraine Leal, Emetophobia Survivor Our guest, Lorraine Leal, is 42 and a lifelong emetophobia sufferer.
