How do today's political dynamics influence the way we remember the past?In this episode, we explore a compelling study that examines this question in the context of Ukraine—a country caught between conflicting historical narratives from Russia and the West.Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the nation has endured not only a devastating war but also an intense battle over history, identity, and legitimacy. Yet, these struggles are deeply rooted in Ukraine's complex past.The study we discuss was conducted in 2019, offering a snapshot from before the war. Kemp 's decision this week to veto legislation aimed at rectifying a situation that has left them at a competitive disadvantage with pharmacy chains. Senate Bill 198, which the state House and Senate passed with only one “no” vote, would have required the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) covering teachers and state employees to reimburse independent pharmacies filling prescriptions at rates no less than the average reimbursement provided to chain pharmacies. Jonathan Demme is a master filmmaker and he shows us his storytelling prowess with "The Silence of the Lambs". The film is not only great because of its premise and engaging plot but the power of the close up. That close up is a very powerful use of cinematography and by keeping us at that close up for the majority of the film, you cant help but continue to watch. I can understand why people would pay to see this film on the big screen. Those details are scary. Jodie Foster played a great Clarice Starling, showing a character that is compassionate about people and justice itself. The film is pretty straightforward for the most part with minor twists but all the juice is simply from how the writer was clever to put plot motives at the right places. However, completing the course takes real time, energy, and motivation. Dropping out suggests students lacked the willpower and habits needed to follow through.  The pitch should have asked questions about willingness to invest 10 hours weekly. It should have explored how having this professional qualification will change students' identity and reputation.  When people visualise themselves investing in these currencies, they feel accountability. An engaged client becomes a motivated client.  Whether selling marketing services, websites, or training, applying this model creates loyal customers. They fulfill requests quickly, complete courses, and value what you provide.  So don't assume money is the only buying currency. For many years the media has brainwashed the globe by establishing hypothetical identity politics in order to label any person by attaching their perceived values to negative events. This show will crack open and reveal their techniques and ultimate goals. Instead of informing and holding itself to a higher fact based standard, the media has entered and aligned with politics influencing and radicalizing a population of Millennials who have not experienced anything but identity politics.
