Learning a programming language can be tough. Especially when you start to regret your programming language of choice. So let's talk about GML or Game Maker Language. GML is a pretty basic language used for game development that is perfect for those who want to learn a language that can allow them to move into other programming languages. Interland is this really unique game developed by Google that teaches kids about the foundations of Media Literacy. The game uses these 3D polygonal character and environmental styles which is actually a big plus. Skipping out on childish graphics helps to widen the audience. The game is broken off into four different areas which are: tower of treasure, Kind Kingdom, Reality river, and mindful mountain. Speed Brawl Speed Brawl is a unique game as its built to play like a racing combat game and references itself as the mix between both sonic and streets of rage. Players have to quickly race through levels while also fighting all sorts of enemies. Something really unique about the fighting mechanics of this game is that you can use things like momentum and physics based fighting to pull off different techniques. Game Based Learning With Minecraft Minecraft Education Edition is a game based learning tool modeled after the popular video game Minecraft. (obviously). Minecraft Education Edition is developed and operated by Microsoft so you're going to need a Microsoft account to access it. The game has a built in trial system which is 25 free plays for teachers and 10 free plays for students. After using up your trial, a license for MEE costs $5 a year.
