Virtual Reality is now accessible to more people but not as accessible as Augmented Reality. If you've used Snapchat or played Pokemon Go you're already familiar with this technology. In the near future, XR will be a normal part of our lives which will also integrate with Blockchain gaming. Coupled with cryptocurrency, this technology will allow us to create, earn, and live in ways we never imagined. It's been 3 years since the last Podcast episode but it's 2022 & the perfect time for a come-back! Where have I been? In 2019 I went back to school for animation + VFX. Now I'm in my junior year & things like XR (Extended Reality), NFTs, The Metaverse, & Cryptocurreny have surfaced with plenty of opportunities for everyone. I've been dying to talk more about it & share as much value as I can, stay tuned!

In this episode of Live & Learn we have an enlightening conversation with the multitalented Vondell Richmond. He's a public speaker, business coach, city councilman, actor, author, ordained minister and has even made a movie. One of my favorite interviews thus far, I learned a bunch and really resonated with many of the things we talked about. Unfortunately we had some technical difficulties so didn't get the full interview but there's a ton of value jammed packed into this episode. He talks about his first "LEarn" experience (which happened back in the day) where he was able to trade something of value for knowledge & experience that ended up getting his script into film. We talk about 3 different mentors in our lives, up mentor, peer mentor, and down mentor and I really love the way he breaks it down & explains who each of those is. Also, finding your why. Which is actually a simple question you ask yourself. So Vondell has a wealth of knowledge in many areas and we only scratched the surface here. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with Rich & Cecil the owners of Waterdogs Scuba and Safety about some of the myths surrounding scuba diving. Many of those myths I believed myself and have been intimidated by but was put at ease once some of the myths were busted! We talk about how movies give a bad rep to sharks, how deep one can actually dive, their most extravagant dive to date with WWII aircraft and ships, and future plans to visit the Galapagos.

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with the amazing Kristi May, the owner of Legend Acres. This interview was super interesting and enlightening about all things Equine. I started horseback riding with Legend Acres this year and it has been one of the best experiences hands down! Kristi goes in depth about the different disciplines of horseback riding, she also explains her fascinating thesis on osteoarthritis which is prevalent in 80% of horses and could possibly extend their lifespan, and how she still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up which has allowed her to experience so many things. 

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with Maria & Megan from Artlink, a non-profit organization that is all about igniting passion and building character through creativity. I absolutely love what they are doing being an artist myself!! We talk about how they "broke" in their new trailer at their latest event "The Chalk Walk", helping people find their passion through the arts whether that be music, dance, sports, etc, building community through collaboration, and how to become involved with their organization.

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with the super awesome Tiffany Hilliker, the owner of Hoops & High Notes. I really enjoyed this episode and learned a bunch! We talk all about how Hulu Hooping is the gateway drug to physical fitness, why bigger is indeed better when It comes to hoops, how hooping is another extension of the creative process similar to dancing and music, and a new podcast that her and her best friend Michelle will be launching called creative Clarksville.

It was really interesting for me to hear her story because we both have the same background when it comes to the printing and promotional world. In this episode of Live & Learn we find out the true meaning of the name Brand My Swag, how she’s partnering with an all in one e-commerce & SEO platform, working from home & finally quitting her job to go all in with Brand My Swag, and the motivation that kept her going and staying in business for 20 years and counting.

April Consulo is a serial entrepreneur, a Hall of Fame singer songwriter, top 5% award winning realtor in the nation, was vice mayor of Lakewood Old Hickory Tennessee, CEO and founder of several nonprofits including W.O.M.E.N. & Friends of Lakewood, the author of the motivational audiobook Permission to Live, and the owner of the OfficeNow.  She has so much experience and talked in depth about the music industry where she talks about paying your dues, being an independent artist and making sure that you get the healthcare coverage you need. We also talk about multiple streams of income and how she invested in real estate at the age of 16.  April now owns the beautifully crafted OfficeNow co-working space that is Clarksville’s Premier workspace solution. This is Clarksville, Tennessee’s first ever co-workspace solution with concierge services and the largest art gallery in the city, Vivid Art Gallery. 

Excited to announce that the Live & Learn Podcast will be launching May 4th, 2019!!   Currently we’re located in the Clarksville Tennessee in collaboration with organizations and businesses like LOCAL, OfficeNow, and Blondell Video Company.  Here on the live & learn podcast we're finding Interesting people within our community that have knowledge experience and unique skills to share with you. Some of the amazing guests that we’ll be interviewing are actually hosts on the new LEarn platform where we are connecting local people within our community that want to learn or experience something hands-on, think kind of like YouTube but in person. So if you live in Or around Clarksville Tennessee, And if you don’t we do plan to expand nationwide and hopefully worldwide, you would actually be able to meet some of our guests in person where they will host lessons, experiences, and projects to either teach you a certain skill set, experience something new and exciting, or collaborate and build something together through projects.  We want to make our communities stronger so that you don’t feel like you have to leave your small town or maybe you work from home and never get out or maybe you’re just tired of the same old routine. The fact is there are incredibly talented people all around you and we want to find them and bring them to you!
