Movies Never Say Die

It's been awhile, but schedules finally cleared, the stars finally aligned, and we return after a long hiatus (most successful podcasts sporadically record 3 episodes a year, right!?)We just copy pasted that first sentence from our last episode because it still works this time!Finally...we bring you Episode 19!  The champions of Earthrealm must fight to save the world against the warriors from Outworld.  Does this sound familiar?  Well it should because we're discussing Mortal Kombat 2021...yes we know it's 2022 already.  This is the reboot of 1995s successful and somewhat well received cult classic.  Most of the main characters are back and there's even some new blood  introduced to the lineup.  Was it a Flawless Victory or did we have to dish out some Fatalities?In the Pipeline we talk about some recent reboot/remake/sequel news including casting and potential casting news.  Plus some info about the Oscars Best Picture nominees that you may not have known.It's been over a year since our last episode so we must be living in a post-pandemic world right?  No?  Really?  Well, things might be getting better but the following advice still works.Take care of each other, social distance, get your vaccine if you're eligible, stay at home if you can, wear a mask if you do have to go out, and.......Wash Your Hands!As always, thanks for giving us a shot. We're Back! After a longer than expected hiatus we've returned with a look at Pet Sematary, just one of the latest Stephen King adaptation reboots.

We return from our summer hiatus to take a look at one of the biggest summer blockbusters....Spiderman: Far From Home!

We aren't discussing a specific movie on this episode of MNSD. This time we give you our take on all the big reboot/sequel news that came out of San Diego Comic-Con. SO MUCH MARVEL! Plus at least one non-Marvel big surprise. I mean, it's not called Marvel-Con right?

On this episode of MNSD, we look back at last year's film Solo: A Star Wars Story! Did the most recent Star Wars spinoff push through casting controversy and fired directors to succeed at showing us a young Han Solo neither of us really felt like we needed to see?

John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum! We'll take a look at how a series that is dependent on over the top action sequences builds its story mythology and stands out as the cream of the crop in action films!

This episode we talk about the same thing everyone else has been talking about for the past 2 weeks..."Avengers: Endgame". How did the 4th Avengers film fare trying to closeout an epic 22 movie saga? You could say we liked it juuuuuust a little bit. This is our biggest episode to date!

Our main topic for this episode is 2018's "The Predator", the latest attempt to kickstart the Predator franchise, this time with director Shane Black. We both felt like this one missed the mark, and we delve into the previous entries in the series to try and analyze what went wrong....

It's episode number 5 and this time we're talking about lots of stuff. The full Pet Semetary and Child's Play trailers, along with Frozen 2, Hellboy, Aladdin, some brand new announcements and of course Shaft! Plus we discuss Hollywood's biggest night, the 91st Academy Awards.

In episode number 4 we discuss a few trailers that just came out, plus news on two projects featuring Leigh Whannell. We then discuss Glass, the long-awaited sequel to both Unbreakable and Split.

In episode number 3 we discuss a few big new trailers that just came out and then get into The Grinch, the new reboot of the beloved Dr. Seuss story. This time it's an animated movie, which we are very thankful for.

In episode 2 we run through some more movie reboot news and delve into AntMan & The Wasp, the most recent film in the MCU.

In our very first episode we run through some movie reboot news and delve into Halloween 2018, the newest installment of the horror film franchise. Just a quick note on future episodes: We promise the audio quality (and two nervous new hosts) get better after this episode once we work out a few bugs. Thanks for giving us a shot!
