It's time for one of those huge episodes. This episode of the Red Gaze takes on the classic Stephen King story involving the good-old Indian burial ground. Is the use of the burial ground in this movie cursed? Or are we loving the creeps we get? Find out on this next Halloween episode.
Nicki tells the mighty tales of her Riot Fest experience and first time experiencing Rob Zombie in meat space. Brad sits out on a topic he's most qualified to speak on as Nicki and Alex talk through three of the 90's follow-ups to Stephen King movies minus the King, himself. We talk the goofy kills of Children of the Corn 2: The final sacrifice, Mr. Krabs hamming it up through Pet Semetary 2, and the surprisingly cogent messaging of the The Rage: Carrie 2. The idea of something refusing to stay dead is horrifying in both its objection to the laws of nature and the hopelessness it creates for the victims. What can one do when confronted by something that seemingly can't be killed? This idea has been explored in Romero's zombie films and King's Pet Semetary as well as countless others. This week, Jerry and Matt look at two examples with Friday the 13th Part 6, Jason Lives from 1986 and Planet Terror, from 2007.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice- that's what we're told little girls are made of. So when they are instead demonic entities, it challenges our psyche in a whole new way. Jerry and Matt look at daughters who lose their innocence and become twisted sources of evil inside their families, starting with the iconic, all time classic, "The Exorcist" from 1973 (on the short list of contenders for the greatest horror movie of all time) and finishing with "Pet Semetary" from 2019, a remake that changes the narrative in a creepy and satisfying way.

Update on our week: This week Daniel talks on having seen New Nightmare, the final Freddy movie in the original Nightmare Franchise. He discusses the breaking of the fourth wall within the movie and its interesting theme. It is the last Freddy movie besides Freddy vs Jason that stars Robert Englund. Daniel also talks about watching The Exorcist for the first time ever. He avoided the movie as a child due to its very scary nature and realism. Watching it as an adult has definitely lessened the scariness of the movie and he was able to enjoy it for what it was, a classic horror film. Five Nights at Freddys is a recently released movie, beloved by many of those who played the Five Nights at Freddys game franchise. Jr was able to convince Daniel and his wife Alana to watch the movie with him, as it was a great bonding experience. Noel speaks on completing God of War 3 Remastered on PS5 after having bought the PS4 greatest hit game some time ago. He says it wraps up the Greek Mythology Saga and is now enticing him to begin the Norse Mythology saga that followed. Noel, in the spirit of Halloween, watched a multitude of horror movies, one of them being Pet Semetary. Released in 1989, this horror movie is a classic and has a creepy story and atmosphere that is sure to impress horror movie lovers.
