B-Real TV alumni, has photographed bands such as Korn and Slipknot, and loves pro wrestling -  Shaun Vizzy and I discuss his favorite film "Friday" directed by F Gary Gray who stars Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. It's a slice-of-life style of a film that's set in south central Los Angeles where two homies hang out and smoke weed but they get into a sort of laid back but messy situation with the neighborhood drug dealer. It's beyond an LA film or a hood film of sorts, but a film that represents community in a raw form. You do get to see life from a perspective that we can relate. You see real people. We talk about how Shaun saw this film but in a bootlegged VHS form BUT features a cut that's different from the actual theatrical version. We also talk about my disagreement of Roger Ebert's review of the film, especially the third act. Shaun and I talk about the legendary cast and we also discuss the character of "Big Worm" and how central it is to the film overall. This is a film where I did say that some of the scenes don't push the story forward but I fail to realize that LIFE itself goes in the pace we set it to be. Thanks to Shaun for wanting to do a podcast with me especially on this film that I personally feel should be in the United States Library of Congress if it's not there already.Shaun Vizzyhttps://linktr.ee/shaunvizzy

No More Late Fees

This week, we roll up on the porch with Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, and the crew to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the stoner hood comedy classic Friday. Craig just got fired on his day off, Smokey smoked the whole stash, and Big Worm wants his money—or bullets will fly. Thankfully, former Blockbuster besties Danielle and Jackie are joined by their cousin Marc to break down every hilarious moment. From cereal sadness and toilet talks with dad to the unmatched chaos of Deebo rolling through like the neighborhood Thanos, it's all good in the '90s hood. The squad also deep dives deep into Chris Tucker's improv magic, Ice Cube's sneaky social commentary, and why every Black neighborhood has a Felicia, a Miss Parker, and a dude who's always “between jobs.” It's part stoner analysis, part family reunion, and 100% iconic.·Season 5 Episode 2·—No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com909-601-NMLF (6653)—Follow Us on Social:Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefeesYoutubehttps://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitterhttps://x.com/NoMoreLateFees —CONQUERingmyconquering.com10% Off Code: JACKIE10—NostaBeautyhttps://nostabeauty.com 20% Off Code: NMLF—Marc's Previous EpisodesSnootchie Bootchies, it's Marc!https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/snootchie-bootchies-its-marcJay and Silent Bob Strike Backhttps://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/jay-and-silent-bob-strike-backMarc Strikes Back!https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/marc-strikes-back-parenthood-side-hustles-and-matt-damon-cameosEurotriphttps://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/eurotrip

RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot open Episode 328 with some REO Speedwagon, a Morgan Wallen SNL debacle, and—sadly—no area code trivia. But it's all prelude to a full-on Mariners therapy session, as Mitch wonders why Gino Suárez and Teoscar Hernández are thriving elsewhere while the M's bats look like they're still in spring training. He also recalls a moment in a locker room with George Foreman that changed how he views leadership. First up: it's the Mariners No-Table with Brady Farkas (SI Now, Refuse to Lose Pod) and Joe Doyle (Over Slot). The crew breaks down the split with the A's, early warning signs with Julio, what Dan Wilson got wrong as manager, and whether this offense truly has enough talent to support the elite rotation. Then Danny Kelly of The Ringer joins to explain why all the top mock drafts have Seattle passing on offensive linemen at pick 18—and why fans might want to prepare for a linebacker, receiver, or safety instead. He also breaks down how the Seahawks could approach the quarterback class on Day 2. Finally, Jason La Canfora weighs in on the Seahawks' offseason: Is Sam Darnold a long-term solution or just Geno 2.0? Why does John Schneider refuse to spend on O-linemen? And which position group is so deep this year, every team could draft one?   GUESTS   • Mariners No-Table | Joe Doyle (Over Slot) & Brady Farkas (SI Now) • Danny Kelly | NFL Draft Analyst, The Ringer • Jason La Canfora | NFL Insider, Washington Post   TABLE OF CONTENTS   1:00 | Mitch & Hotshot: Morgan Wallen SNL chaos, no area code trivia, REO Speedwagon deep cuts 6:35 | Mariners Misery, Pt.
