Real talk about relationships, life, ministry, & the Bible.
The Nick Unplugged podcast is a breath of fresh air in the world of Apostolic ministry podcasts. Hosted by Nick Egler, this podcast offers a unique perspective on living out the Christian faith in today's society. From the very beginning, it is clear that this podcast is polished and thoughtfully produced, setting it apart from others in the genre.
One of the best aspects of The Nick Unplugged podcast is Nick's ability to connect with his audience on a personal level. He shares openly and honestly about his own struggles and journey as he seeks to follow Christ. This vulnerability creates an immediate sense of authenticity and relatability for listeners. Nick's content is also highly relevant to those walking in their Christian faith, tackling important topics such as love, forgiveness, and perseverance.
Another strong point of this podcast is its solid biblical foundation. Each episode delves into Scripture and offers practical insights on how to live out God's Word in everyday life. Nick's teaching style is engaging and easy to follow, making it accessible for both new believers and seasoned Christians alike.
While there are many positive aspects of The Nick Unplugged podcast, there are a few areas where improvement could be made. One possible drawback is that the episodes can sometimes feel too short or rushed. Given the depth and richness of the topics discussed, it would be beneficial to have longer conversations that allow for more exploration and reflection.
In conclusion, The Nick Unplugged podcast is a must-listen for anyone looking for solid, Godly encouragement in their Christian walk. With its polished production quality, relevant content, and authentic approach, this podcast stands out among others in its genre. As Nick Egler leads the next generation of Apostolic ministers, the future indeed looks bright for those seeking spiritual growth through this insightful podcast.

Episode 18 of my podcast Nick Unplugged (available on Apple Podcast or Spotify). I APOLOGIZE in advance for the poor video and audio quality. Zoom is so annoying sometimes Clinical social worker Cassie Morton joins us. In this episode, we talk about the effect social media has on children and answer the vital question (regarding mental health), "How do I know when someone is just doing this for attention?" One of the main points we hit on in this episode that I loved was the reality that "some ministers are good at preaching but bad with people." Unfortunately, many ministers are good at crafting a sermon but don't know how to deal with PEOPLE. After all, the ministry is about serving others and not ourselves. While it is not vital that ministers be legitimate "counselors" or "therapists," it is essential that ministers are INFORMED on basic people skills (sometimes you cannot teach this). If you want to reach Cassie, please contact Greater Purpose Counseling LLC in Indianapolis.
In this episode, Nick hosts an Evangelist and friend Stalen Ochoa to talk about the supernatural things of God.
In this episode, Nick defines what true freedom and liberty are; and how our fight for freedom does not end at Acts 2:38.

This episode starts our series about relationships. In this episode, I talk about voices. Who are you listening to? Because who you tune into is inevitably who you turn into!
Lee Stoneking is a minister from Schenectady, New York who has been involved in the ministry since 19 years old. Brother Stoneking is well known over the entire globe for his United Nations address, which you can view on YouTube. In this episode, Brother Stoneking shares his burden for this generation and what it truly means to be a Bible believer in the 21st century. I have watched Lee Stoneking on YouTube since I was 13 years old and would have never imagined being afforded the opportunity to speak with him. Brother Stoneking has been a voice of inspiration for me from a distance growing up but has become a personal voice for me in the past several months. Thank you Brother Stoneking for coming on the podcast.
In this episode I discuss the Biblical model for receiving the Holy Ghost. What did Paul mean when he said, “Not all speak with tongue‘s”? What is the evidence that I have been filled with God spirit? I answer these questions in this episode.

An article published on February 15, 2022 by NPR states that a priest from Arizona had been baptizing people the wrong way since 1995. The Vatican rendered thousands of baptisms invalid due to the misuse of a single word. Thousands of Catholics will get rebaptized due to this mistake. What does the Bible say about baptism? Is there a baptismal formula? Will you go to hell if you are not baptized? All of these questions and more are answered in this episode.
There has been much debate in Christendom whether Melchisedec (or Melchizedek), king of Salem and Priest of the Most High God was merely a theophany, angel, or a legitimate priest in ancient days; some even say that he was Jesus Christ (better known as a Christophany). There are only three points in the Bible that mention the word "Melchisedec": Genesis 14:18-20, Psalm 110:4, and Hebrews 7. These three points in scripture, along with other extra-biblical resources (commentaries and multiple translations), tie together an argument as to whether Melchizedek was merely a theophany, an angel, a legitimate priest, or Jesus Christ Himself. The following content seeks to give a proper interpretation of Hebrews chapter seven and the character of Melchizedek by employing an Apostolic Hermeneutic. Historically Melchizedek was a legitimate priest, theologically he could not be a theophany or angel, and exegetically he serves as a typology of Christ (not the same as a Christophany). Background of the book of Hebrews will provide context to the verse or verses that support this view and different interpretations of fundamental principles from these verses. The actual argument will undoubtedly be whether the biblical and historical character Melchisedec was a legitimate priest in time or a theophany used by the writer of Hebrews to strengthen his message.
Unfortunately one of the consequences of a broken world is sickness and disease; sometimes we get sick in our brain. Whether you have a clinical mental disorder or just fight your mind, this episode is for you.
Throughout the writings of Paul and the epistles as a whole, we see the use of the word “faith.” But what exactly does that mean? How should we define faith? And what does it mean to be “just”? How can we have pure faith?
