No Business is hosted by a couple of jabronies who have (wait for it) no business having a podcast and yet, they’re doing it anyway. The goal of this future #1 show is for us all to become more informed, well-rounded individuals through the use of dry, quick-witted humor (alright, settle down) and people who actually know what the heck they’re talking about. This interview-style program might make you laugh, it might make you cry, but one thing is certain... it will definitely leave you very, very confused.
Jordan and Zach are BACK! The boys have returned from their 10 month boondoggle and are looking to hit the ground running again. In place of an interview this week, they catch everyone up on what they've been up to and where they've been over the last year. They also discuss the state of the program and what listeners can expect moving forward. Thank you all for your patience and understanding, now let's get back to work. PS: Wouldn't quite be an episode of No Business without flawless, crystal clear audio quality and absolutely no hiccups. We'll be better. Love you guys.
Today's episode features an interview with an old friend from Zach & Jordan's high school days, soon-to-be 2nd Lt. Evan Corman. The three of them discuss Evan's time in the military so far, his mindset regarding his decision to enlist and the workload balance that comes with also being a full-time student. Evan talks about one of his favorite hobbies and his relationship with it throughout the years. The boys then talk a little coronavirus and the handling of the entire situation, which leads them to debate the best US President of all time. We want to thank Evan again for his military service and also the very kind words towards Zach, Jordan and the podcast as a whole.
After a brief hiatus, the boys are back at it! They return to the series with another edition of ranking things they have no business ranking. Today's show, as the title suggests, features Zach and Jordan naming off their top 5 favorite places in the world that they've never been to. Naturally, this eventually leads Jordan to believe that Zach may have actually assassinated JFK. Jordan tells the stories of the two times he's auditioned to be on Survivor and also does the best English (definitely not Australian) accent the world has ever seen.
Today's episode goes all over the place, gang. The boys are unwinding after a rigorous week of laying in bed morning till night, and decide to just keep the discussion as loose and open-ended as possible. They start out by attempting to wrap their heads around how time works. Going off the rails a bit, this somehow leads them to talking about Instagram Live concerts, their favorite game shows, their talents (or lack of) and Zach impressively names every US President IN ORDER!
Today's episode is the show's second monthly installment of nothing but outtakes! The boys showcase the fact that they're FAR from perfect, and that's further highlighted by their argument regarding the handling and labeling of the Quarantine Series. However, the episode is certainly not as heavy as that may feel, with tons of laughs to be had at the hands of their many blunders and miscues.
Happy Hump Day gang! Today the boys start the show by bringing up the fact that they had NO IDEA that yesterday (the day that they published an episode featuring their favorite episodes of The Office) was the 15th anniversary of The Office debuting on television. They're completely gobsmacked by the news and can't believe the coincidence. They then provide some updates from the sports world and deliver a few hot takes along the way. This leads them to their quasi-interview with their good friend, Desmond Boyle. He sheds some light on a story for which Zach and Jordan have previously talked about but wanted additional clarification. Naturally, this leads them down a path of reminiscing on several other stories that feature all three of them in their most inebriated states.
Judging by the title, no surprises here regarding today's topic. However, before the boys get to their lists, they bring up a few updates surrounding the sports world, including the big news from the IOC officially postponing the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. They then proceed to list off their favorite episodes from one of their favorite shows, The Office. Let them know what episodes they missed!
Back again with another installment of the series! Today, the boys start the show by talking about a few shows and movies they've been watching. This leads to a bit of conspiracy theory talk and why they love those kinds of things. They then shift to the sports world (or what's left of it right now) with some updates on their favorite teams and players. Zach then makes a truly daring declaration regarding his hair.
Today's episode is a special one! The boys are lucky enough to welcome not only their first female guest, but Jordan's roommate/second mother/third sister/part-time life coach Amanda Tempesta! She kicks off the show by describing her journey to Los Angeles and what she's learned about life (and more importantly, herself) in the process. From there, they talk about puzzles, to underage drinking, to TikTok and everything in between.
Prepare to step into a time machine and find yourselves back in a much simpler time, folks. The boys start off the episode by updating each other on the latest news regarding their respective states and quarantine situations. This leads Zach to delve into how he's passing his time, which brings up one of the most impactful times in both their lives: their middle school summer pool dances. Naturally, they reminisce about those peak years and get fired up in the process. This turns into them listing off their favorite songs from that era.
The boys keep it rolling with Day 3 of the series and kick it off with answering an interesting, very specific listener question that Zach may or may not have been directly responsible for. They bring up Tom Brady's move from New England to Tampa Bay, which prompts more speculation and discussion about the sports world. They then give the latest updates about the coronavirus before lightening the mood a bit in the form of another strange dream Jordan recently had.
Day 2 of the Quarantine Series features a fantastic interview with Mike Schiavo (better known as Mikey), an incredibly talented musician based in Los Angeles. The boys dive into Mikey's roots and how he's developed as an artist through the years, as well as his inspiration for some of his projects. They discuss his time on The Voice (Season 10) and his biggest takeaways from that experience. Mikey then provides a first-hand account on how the coronavirus is affecting not only him personally, but the music industry as a whole.
Welcome to the No Business Coronavirus.. Special Edition.. Extravaganza.. or something like that! The boys are stuck inside thanks to the virus and their response was to try and come up with their own homegrown cure for the quarantine blues. They'll be bringing listeners an episode a day for at least the next two weeks. Today, they share their thoughts about the state of the nation and what they've been doing to pass the time. This leads them to one of their most memorable stories from high school: a men's pageant that Zach was reluctant to compete in until he took the stage and stole the show. **WARNING: EXTREME CRINGE INCOMING!**
Simply an introduction to the newest series to help get everyone through this quarantine with a little extra laughter! One episode a day for the next two weeks! (Or more if the quarantine keeps us out of work for longer)
Bit of a shorter episode this week since the scheduled guest unfortunately got Head & Shoulders 2-In-1 Ultra Flake Protection in their Frosted Flakes while watching Flaked on Netflix (you get the idea) and the boys aren't bitter about it at all! However, the show must go on! This week they dive into all kinds of different topics including competitive Pokemon, bizarre dreams and the highs and lows of their recent culinary experiences. A new piece of fan mail casts a dark cloud over the show and (for all the cops listening) the boys definitely do NOT admit to more underage drinking!
This week, the boys dipped into the vault and put together a compilation of their favorite clips that didn't make the cut for the first three episodes. Listeners get a look behind the curtain at some aspects of the show that aren't typically heard, as well as a few controversial stories that were a bit polarizing for a regular episode.
Third time's the charm! This week on the program the boys sit down with Neo Zambas, a financial specialist based in New Jersey who has his hand in a myriad of different business ventures. He teaches them a ton about finance and also the importance of financial literacy while also sharing his own personal and professional goals. This is a special one this week considering the show received its first ever sponsorship! (Keep an ear out for it)
This week on the show Zach and Jordan sit down with Sanad Ali who proceeds to blow their minds with invaluable life lessons and insight. Sanad shares his incredible story and how his upbringing shaped the way he views the world. Things get a bit frisky when Sanad brings up his college days, but the boys learn a couple new tricks to utilize in the bedroom. Certainly an episode for the ages!
Welcome to the show! This week, the boys introduce themselves and the program by sharing how they came up with show ideas and what listeners can expect when they tune in... anddd Jordan's already looking for a new host. Great. Their guest this week is Dan Brink, very talented videographer based in Los Angeles. He helps navigate through the film industry, giving us all some juicy insight into what goes on behind the camera.
