When the wonderful Frank of French Toast invited us to do a mix for his radio show we couldn't refuse - after all we've badgered enough people to do that for us! A couple of weeks ago we wrote about a new track by The Svens called Club House is a Party Feelin' and we started chatting to them - the result of which is this mix and answers to some questions. Easy. We only had one piece of music to judge them on but now with this mix we've got under the skin and into the minds of Xavier and Eric a bit more - and we'd strongly advise you to do the same... We turn again to Showcasing... and in this latest episode we probably have our favourite mix of the series so far - mainly because Oxide and Neutrino features - and it comes from the very talented, very exciting and very alive I Killed Kenny. The duo - Seany Bizzle and Barni Sparkes - first caught our ear with their collaboration with Rinse and funky don Jamie George on Let's Go, and when we started doing a bit of digging it just got better and better. Scouring Soundcloud we came across this track called Charlotte by Shit Hot SoundSystem and we were just blown away. It's an amazingly funky, soulful and joyous track which just puts a smile on your face. We then did a bit more digging and found out that Shit Hot SoundSystem (aka Matt Stypulkowski) wears thick rimmed glasses, and then it all made sense - he's the Sussex Chromeo.
