Und das alles mit dem Ziel, über 1000 Stunden Material für den Schnitt zu sammeln. In der neuesten Folge des Credit to the Edit Podcasts geht es tief hinein in die Welt des erfolgreichen YouTube-Formats "Manhunt". Und darum, wie aus einem logistischen und kreativen Albtraum eine fesselnde Action-Reality-Serie entsteht. Bei diesen Materialmengen muss ein fünfköpfiges Editor:innen-Team nicht nur die Handlung strukturieren, sondern auch ein striktes chronologisches Diktat einhalten. Die präzise Zeiteinhaltung ist entscheidend für die Glaubwürdigkeit des Formats, aber hilft gleichzeitig, der Materialflut Herr zu werden. Dabei muss das Team den typischen YouTube-Rhythmus beibehalten, Figuren aus den chaotischen Aufnahmen formen und dabei die Balance zwischen spannenden Verfolgungsjagden und emotionalen Momenten finden. Eine Karte dient dabei als eine Art Drehbuch-Ersatz, um in der Timeline die Begegnungspunkte von Jägern und Gejagten zu identifizieren. Über die Arbeit berichten Peter Rautek, Regisseur und Produzent von "Manhunt". Er entwickelte die ursprüngliche Idee. Unterstützt wird er von Karol Choma, der als technischer Experte und erfahrener Editor die Umsetzung übernahm und die erste Staffel im Alleingang schnitt. Julia Böhmn, die jüngste Verstärkung des Teams, bringt Erfahrung aus dem traditionellen Reality-TV ein und musste sich zunächst an den schnelleren, sprunghafteren Schnittstil anpassen.   Julia Böhm Julia Böhm arbeitet als selbstständige Editorin in Wien. Nach Bachelor und Master in Digitalen Medientechnologien an der FH St. Pölten war sie zunächst in einer Fernsehproduktionsfirma tätig, 2018 folgte der Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit, seit 2022 ausschließlich frei. Sie schneidet vor allem Langformate für das Fernsehen, darunter Dokumentationen und Reportagen; Manhunt ist ihr erstes Projekt im YouTube-Bereich.     Peter Rautek Peter Rautek ist Regisseur, Autor und Produzent. Mit seinem Unternehmen RTX Film realisierte er zahlreiche Reportagen und Dokumentationen für Sender in Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz und arbeitet daneben an Kurz- und Spielfilmen. Als Mitentwickler und Spielleiter von Manhunt verantwortet er gemeinsam mit Karol Choma das Format und führt die Manhunt Media GmbH.     Karol Choma Karol Choma ist Editor und Regisseur mit Medientechnik-Ausbildung und beruflichem Einstieg über den Tonbereich in die Postproduktion. Nach mehreren Jahren Festanstellung arbeitet er seit 2017 freiberuflich an Fernsehinhalten und Formatentwicklungen, häufig in Zusammenarbeit mit Peter Rautek. Er ist Mitentwickler von Manhunt und arbeitete an der ersten Staffel als Editor.     Ob beim Weglassen bestimmter Storylines oder bei der konsequenten Anwendung des Mottos „Kill your darlings", die Gäste machen deutlich: Die gesamte Dramaturgie der Serie entsteht im Schneideraum. Fuerzas de Estados Unidos mataron a 14 presuntos narcotraficantes en un ataque contra cuatro lanchas en el océano Pacífico este martes, lo que eleva a 57 los muertos en este tipo de ataques. Esta campaña antinarcóticos impulsada por Washington plantea numerosos interrogantes sobre su legalidad. Entrevista con Ismene Itoiz, profesora de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Del ataque —anunciado por el secretario de Defensa estadounidense Pete Hegseth—, la Marina mexicana rescató a un sobreviviente, quien es requerido por las autoridades de Estados Unidos. Este único sobreviviente se encuentra actualmente bajo custodia mexicana. La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, declaró que no está de acuerdo con estos ataques, que —dijo— "se están ampliando peligrosamente en el Pacífico". La profesora de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) Ismene Itoiz explica varias razones para condenar este tipo de operaciones: "Estados Unidos sí puede interceptar la embarcación mientras verifica la información. Pero lo que no contempla la legislación es que se pueda lanzar un ataque. El ataque en sí ya implica otro orden de actividades. Y la información que ha suministrado el secretario de Defensa genera más dudas que certezas. Él habla abiertamente de 14 hombres, pero surgen muchas preguntas: en el video las embarcaciones explotan, pero no sabemos qué pasó con los restos. ¿Quién los recupera? ¿Cómo se estableció que eran efectivamente varones? Le preguntamos a la profesora mexicana si este hombre, rescatado por la Marina mexicana, será presentado ante las autoridades nacionales. Del ataque —anunciado por el secretario de Defensa estadounidense Pete Hegseth—, la Marina mexicana rescató a un sobreviviente, quien es requerido por las autoridades de Estados Unidos. Este único sobreviviente se encuentra actualmente bajo custodia mexicana. La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, declaró que no está de acuerdo con estos ataques, que —dijo— "se están ampliando peligrosamente en el Pacífico".
