Roll One is a podcast where a group of NYC improvisers play a roleplaying game set in the Star Wars universe. We strive to tell a long-running, serialized story in ways that are only possible with roleplaying games.

Season 1 finale! Blackline tries to escape the starport on Ossus, but are ambushed by Deathtroopers lead by Imperial Agent Wexcomb. Not all of them will make it out in one piece…
LEV-03’s story comes to an explosive finish, and we get to see the climactic moment where he and Bosh meet for the first time. It’s a mad world out there, but hopefully you can have a happy Life Day.
Flashback! We continue our delve into LEV-03’s memory, seeing the first time he and Bosh met.
While traveling to Belsaavis, the crew of the Iron Shrike passes some time by hearing the story of how LEV-03 and Bosh met. LEV-03 weaves a tale about how a bunch of Rebels we improvised on the fly end up stealing the show. Featuring guest star Carolyn Cox as Adriest Bingo!
Our “heroes” receive news from Fulcrum about a possible lead on the Empire’s Project Firestorm. Some good/bad dice rolls means Tumassk’s past comes back to haunt him. Also, we have to explain to Alfonso that butt stuff is funny.
Our heroes have rescued Certa Nuko, and are now resolved to stop the Empire’s Project Firestorm. But first, they need to get their barrings and play their character games in a dope tableau.
This is the conclusion of the Gathering Storm arc. Bosh, LEV-03, Tumassk, and Flynt have rescued Certa Nuko, but after seeing Project Firestorm first hand they’ve decided to take out it’s architect, Dr. Avrys, directly. Nothing will be the same after this episode.
Our heroes continue their way through the prison, making new friends and ending old enemies. Things take a turn, though, and for the first time things for our heroes get real…
Bosh, LEV-03, Tumassk, and Flynt Kross push deeper into the Imperial Prison despite the fact their plan has gone awry right out of the gate.
In this episode we finish off the session we played the previous three episodes in, and Bosh re-enacts his least favorite scene from Saving Private Ryan.
In this episode the party bonds over shooting each other then comes up with an elaborate plan that definitely doesn’t immediately fall apart once they start it…
In this episode, the crew of the Iron Shrike reconnoiter the Imperial prison, come up with a plan to ambush a scout patrol, and Bosh wears his sunglasses at night so he can so he can…
Our band of misfits has finally made contact with the Rebellion. In this episode, they engage in one of their worst job interviews and also Alfonso accidentally comes up with a better definition of what an edge lord is.
In this second part of Deal, Interrupted, the heroes get split up and are forced to deal with the consequences of Tumassk’s light side point use. Also, there is a George of the Jungle reference.
The heroes have holed up at an abandoned space station of Yag’Dhul to plan their next moves and have made contact with an arms dealer known as…the Dealer. Who would have guessed shopping could be so exciting!
The final episode of the Kooriva Double-Cross arc, in which the party split up, improvised a bank heist, and make some ridiculously lucky rolls.
Bosh and LEV-03 find out what happens when they try to leave Muvall Rumonte’s compound while Flynt and Tumassk rob a bank and have the longest ten minutes of their lives. (Also Airheads references!)
In this episode, the heroes meet with Flynt’s contact, Muvall Rumonte. While he and Tumassk start putting together a plan to get Bosh’s trust fund, Bosh awkwardly tries to get a kiss from a bank intern.
The Crew of the Iron Shrike have not only managed to recover the spice, but have also made the Keredians into valuable allies. Now, they travel back to Kelada to get the intel they need from Ven Faranda. Also, there’s some moral about drugs in here. Not sure exactly what it is, though.
In the conclusion of the Inquisitor’s tale, we let special guest Liam O’Reilly sit and listen to the regulars chew some scenery. Tom also includes something from old canon that Jake specifically loves new canon for getting rid it.
We continue with the Inquisitor’s special assignment, in which he does some drugs and has a genial conversation about art while Lt. Chuck Finley and Lt. Danika Frome turn into the bumbling villains of a Nickelodeon movie. Featuring special guest Liam O’Reilly.
We shift focus from the crew of the Iron Shrike and take a look at the Imperial Inquisitor, and what he’s been up to since we last saw him. Tom (LE-V03) takes over as gamemaster. Featuring Liam O’Reilly as Special Agent Chuck Finley.
In the thrilling conclusion of the Keredian Exchange arc, the crew prepare for their showdown with Muval Rumonte…
In this episode we learn what the Keredians are really up to. Enemies return, new love is professed, Bosh plunges head first into his trust of the Force, and everyone learns a valuable lesson about trusting your inner (but really outer) strength.
In which the these droids and men lay their best plans… Meanwhile, Tumassk loses patience with the party and decides the further the plot.
Flynt is upset with the incompetent hunter, Zhaan. Meanwhile, with the party convenient indisposed, Tumassk sets about getting some actual work done.
The crew of the Iron Shrike manages to set down on Belsavis in mostly one piece. Time to find the Keredians, right? Of course. That would make sense. Yes, they go right after looking for the Keredians and don’t get sidetracked at all.
The crew of the Iron Shrike arrives in orbit around Belsavis so they can track down the Keredians. Unfortunately for them, someone has arrived first…
Our heroes have narrowly managed to escape the Inquisitor and plan to meet up with Flynt Kross’s contact on Kooriva. The party faces their greatest threat yet: trying to heal themselves.
In this thrilling conclusion to the Bestine arc, the heroes attempt to steal a ship and get off-world. Unfortunately, all of their plans fall through.
In this episode, Flynt introduces the fourth member of the party, Tumassk. They then form a book club while LEV-03 does all the work scouting the Imperial-controlled starport.

Blackline Squad (they’ve got a name, ya’ll!) continues their plan to assault the Iziz starport while Saw Gerera’s Partisans attack the royal palace. The crew only has one hope: “sweet, sweet Imperial negligence.”
Character moments! Extremism! And the group names themselves finally!
I’ve had to write the description for this episode 4 times because of errors uploading this episode. I am not writing it again. In this episode we have fewer bits and more character moments, which is the dream. I hope this is the last time I have to upload this again. -Jake
Our heroes have escaped capture from the Empire once again, but Tumassk is still stuck in the city. Fortunately for him, we see the return of a familiar half-face.
Our heroes have drawn the attention of a cunning and dangerous Imperial foe. With the city of Iziz on high alert, they decide to hide out with a beggar they’ve only just met. First episode of a new session in which Jake is over being sick, and where the audio issue of the last 4 … Continue reading Episode Thirty-Five – Birds of a Feather pt. 5 →
This is the final episode with the horrible audio! In this episode the party tries to escape patrols of beat-boxing stormtroopers while Tumassk struggles with making even the simplest mechanics checks.
The crew of the Iron Shrike has made contact with Adriest Bingo, unfortunately she’s not as forthcoming with information on Project Firestorm as they’d like.
In this episode we see Adriest Bingo finding she has fewer and fewer places to turn, Tumassk has a really bad day, LEV-03 forget about G-forces, and lots of sad Star Wars-y jazz music. Featuring a return of Carolyn Cox.
