Embark on this enlightening journey with Mariah Gannessa, founder of Four Visions, a fair-trade initiative that serves as a bridge integrating ancient plant medicine into the modern world. A student of world-renowned healer and botanist, Taita Wanito and the culture of Yagé, she has spent the last decade immersed in the healing cultures of the Amazon. As Mariah guides us through her experiences with the strikingly diverse traditions of tribal ceremonies, she shares her passion for walking the medicine path in a positive way, with awareness and respect for the ancestral wisdom cultures and from a place of sacred reciprocity. We explore the dynamics of the energy field and the many parallels between energy healing and shamanic practices; traveling or journeying between dimensions in order to retrieve information which can heal and transform a person here and now. We learn about Sananga, a plant extract applied as eye drops used for enhancing both inner and outer vision. We also learn about Hapé, the sacred snuff made from the master plant and healer Tobacco, alongside others. Mariah shares recommendations for psychic or spiritual hygiene - a great resource for your own practice. We learn how her shamanic lineage performs diagnosis on a patient, determining if imbalance resides in the physical, emotional or spiritual body and whether an illness is related to the physical blood vs the “spiritual blood”. Mariah has dedicated her life's work to the plants and the peoples of the Amazon Rainforest and her insights shed light on a delicate balance; our hearts and minds are opened to the teachings the indigenous wisdom keepers offer within a framework of intention and respect. Mariah serves on the board of MAGIC Fund Amazon, a non-profit organization devoted to the preservation of Indigenous peoples, culture, and lands of the Putumayo region of southern Colombia.fourvisions.commagicfundamazon.comambiwasicenter.comLiked what you heard?

In this episode, Mariah Gannessa welcomes Taita Juanito, an Ingano healer and teacher, to discuss the spiritual diet in the plant medicine culture. Delving into the purpose of the spiritual diet and how it allows for deep spiritual studies and guidance from visionary plants, Tiato shares his ancestral wisdom and culture. Taita Juanito and Mariah also explore the many ways to work with plants, such as baths, lotions, and teas. Taita highlights the importance of reverence and respect for plants and reconnecting with nature and how dietas can last for different durations, and depend on the individual's focus and the accessibility of plants. The episode concludes with an invitation to join a virtual dieta guided by Taita Juanito in September, where participants can dive deeper into spiritual studies and receive support. The virtual dieta includes teachings, plant baths, and a Yagé microdose tincture. In this episode, we welcome Leo Cordero, a medicine brother and healer who has spent the last decade studying various modalities of healing, including Aruvedic sciences, shamanic healing, and the culture of Yagé. Leo's journey began in his thirties when he was living a comfortable but unfulfilled life. He stumbled upon different tools that were fundamental in his awakening process, taking him on a search for a deeper connection with life & what it means to live in totality. Leo shares his experience of studying and practicing different modalities of healing, starting with yoga and meditation and eventually progressing to Ayurveda, Transcendental Meditation, and shamanic practices. He never intended to become a healer, but in his own investigations and search for existential liberation, he arrived at a path of service, and it is from this place of selflessness and following the guidance of his heart that he has become a respected and powerful healer within his community. Leo also talks about the power of surrendering to life and being in the present moment, and what it truly means to live each instant moment as a gift from God. Leo's journey is a powerful reminder and call to action to value our lives, and from this place of acceptance, gratitude, and awe with Creation, true fulfillment comes. It's also about the blessings that come when we give ourselves over to something greater than ourselves, and instead of overcomplicating things, let the spiritual path be in every thought, every action, and every breath. Eli is a dedicated student of life and has been on a healing path since a young age. His personal healing journey has been informed by grief, through the loss of his older brother, as well as a quest for physical healing, which ignited the fire within him to go out and search for the tools to heal himself. His search led him to the Amazon Jungle to study with the Taitas of the Ingano and Siona tribes of Colombia. He found healing, reconciliation, and peace through his work with the ancestral plants. For the last decade, he has been supporting these tribes to share their healing work with the world. This is episode 2 in a three week series on the culture of Yagé. We dive deep into a powerful conversation about how to live life with more grace, beauty, and presence. We discuss the concepts of strengthening our spiritual fibers, staying calm in the midst of challenging circumstances, living a life of color, and other beautiful lessons we've received from the Taitas over the last decade. Carlos Duran: spiritual gangster, hustler to healer, and co-founder of Four Visions was born in Wheehawk, New Jersey, to an immigrant family in a violent and abusive home. His traumatic upbringing left him feeling separate, disconnected, and alone. After a series of events led him to Costa Rica, Carlos met a Shaman who introduced him to Yagè, the Colombian form of Ayahuasca.. After a 45-minute trek up the side of a mountain to his first ceremony, he experienced true spiritual healing and radical transformation. Since then, studying under Taita Juanito, Carlos has spent the last decade sharing this powerful medicine with the world helping others be transformed and reconnected with the Creator. Last weekend, I sat with Ayahuasca (Yagé) for the first time. Ever since I heard about her 5 years ago, she's been calling my name but nothing ever really worked out. And I'm so glad it never did. As I sat in the jungle this weekend, I was nurtured by the most amazing, loving and kind Indigenous people. From them, I learned that Yagé should be planted, harvested, cooked and handled by the same Shaman. I also learned that a lot of Ayahuasca being sold today, is not made how our ancestors did. It's also not being administered by shamans but rather facilitators. Meaning, one person is growing, another is harvesting, someone is cooking it, and somehow it's getting in the hands of people. And that obviously affects the experience. It's important to remember that the Indigenous people are inviting us into their culture and we MUST respect it. With that being said, if you're wanting to sit with Ayahuasca, please let me know. I'm trying my best to help these 3 tribes that took me in. Their mission: to heal Earth. The ceremony is a FRACTION of FRACTION of the cost of other places. They have group and private sessions available. The team is made up of the Taita (aka Shaman) and 8 healers. Side bar: The Shaman has the voice of an Angel and his music alone is the most healing thing you'll ever hear! The ceremonies are held in Central America in a country that does not ask for testing or proof of v******s. (I'm keeping the location private because this is a public post. If you're TRULY interested in learning more, please message me and I'll share the info with you.) The next group is happening the 28/29/30 of October but private sessions are very flexible. If Yagé is calling you and you're ready to awaken with her, let me know. Everything you pay goes directly to the tribes. Im in no way, shape or form taking a cut. ps. This has been the single most healing and loving event I've ever experienced. Xo, Juliana
