The podcast where I attempt to stop Watching the Office, and try to force myself to watch something else instead.
The Miami Story continues this episode stays at the Donna Mare and begins with a story that I wrote that hopefully sets a perfect scene. (Sorry for my bad reading)
Episode 2 of Stop Watching...the Miami Story, I randomly find a new location to add to the story. A plain building in Miami Beach named, Donna Mare. I love the way the letters on the side of the building look so my imagination runs wild as I feel it can be a good created setting for the Miami Story. So the first episode of the new season or story idea of Stop Watching that I'm going to call the Miami Story...for now. Going off the last episode where I talked about the new ideas I had in 2021 for new shows, the Miami Story idea is the one that stuck with me and what I've done the most research for. So enjoy the start to what I hope is a good new chapter for the Stop Watching Podcast.
It's 2021...we are still CoronaVirus quarantined and I have new ideas even after the Office has officially left Netflix.
It's still 2020, but as this tough year winds down with the holiday season, I try to celebrate it by creating my own Christmas/Holiday movie based on the dreaded typical Lifetime and Hallmark Holiday movies.
Still quarantined crazy but still being creative. This episode, I talk about magic ideas in the air, watching What We Do in the Shadows and old ideas being brought back.
We are still quarantined, but I'm still working on creating my workplace sitcom as I revisit some old ideas. Talk about new ones I've come up with after I do another episode after a two month break.
I take a quick detour from the workplace sitcom ideas that I've been working on with a new idea for a single short story about a couple that observed while I was stuck in a bit of traffic.
...so we are under quarantine and I thought there was nothing better to do than record another podcast episode. I talk about how the show is continuing to change and evolve, but also I talk about the 2020 great quarantine and my anxieties that are coming along with it.
So after a break in January and doing some thinking, I'm planning on rebranding the show into something where I just don't watch but I create my own show. This episode I talk about my plans to change the show and the ideas I've come up with so far.
We closing in to the end of that Christmas creep and I'm still on my run through all the alternative Holiday movies. This week before Chrstmas, I watched the Long Kiss Goodnight, and I loved it. Thanks for listening.
We still on the Christmas creep and I'm continuing my alternative Christmas movie watching with my review of Batman Returns from 1992.
We still on that Christmas/Holiday creep and I'm not watching the Office this time to try some alt holiday movies by starting out with the classic from 1988, Die Hard.
Yup, it's December 1st, and we on that Christmas creep, so I decide to get in the the holiday movie season with Home Alone 1&2.
On this episode, I pop back up again to talk about Disney+ and streaming services in general.
So.....guess who decided to start their own podcast about the Office....How the turntables have turned.
Summer is over and I'm back talking more of the Office, of course but also that I got caught up on season 3 of the Good Place, and I have a theory about Jim and Pam not getting together.
Guys, I feel in live with the show, the Good Place after watching the first two season on Netflix but I soon realized I wouldn't be able to get season 3 for a while.
On this episode of Stop Watching the Office, I start my new show idea where I watch a random episode of a show that I've never seen before and decide weather or not I want continue watching this show. This starts with my watching a random episode of the show Scrubs.
In this episode I talk about my feelings after it was announced that Netflix is leaving the Office after all these years and I suggest workplace shows that can carry on after the Office.
Toy Story 4 just came out and I do my best to review it without spoiling it and I also I talk about me falling more for Parks and Rec.
I finally get around to watching Parks and Rec and see if it measures up to the Office.
Welcome to 2019, a whole new year, a whole new plan and still the Office.
I'm back and getting in the holiday mood by watching all the holiday episodes of the Office.
After a long hiatus from doing the podcast, I'm back on one of me and Stanley's favorite days, Oct 19th, or as it better known: Pretzel Day!
S2E2: Where I have to suddenly stop everything because its the 10year anniversary of the Dark Knight and it popped up on my Netflix list, so I naturally had to watch it and immediately talk about it.
It's Season 2 of Stop Watching the Office and I reminisce of the old days of video rental stores and the Straight to Video sections.
It's another weekend, so another weekend movie edition of Stop Watching the Office, where this time, I get through Jurassic World.
Just a clip from episode 8 where I played, Six Degrees of the Office.
On this episode of "Stop Watching the Office", I do another Weekend Movie Edition, where this time I watch and review the Incredibles 2 since it just came out in theaters. I also on the second half of the show play my new game, "Six Degrees of the Office".
I talk about a new show that I'm watching that was recommended to me and that leads me down an audio path of TV Intro Songs.
Ok...so I might go off the deep end with my love for the Office on this episode and relating it to the Matrix. But I promise I don't go too crazy and it's a short episode at least.
I continue to take a break from the Office by watching Seinfeld this time but I talk about one episode in particular this podcast.
I spend another week, not watching the Office and instead watch a couple movies and documentaries.
I switch it up this episode of Stop Watching the Office where I talk about what movies I went to see and watched this weekend to distract me from the Office. They were Deadpool 2, the first Deadpool and 40 Year Old Virgin.
I talk about what shows I've been watching on Hulu that are a good distraction to help me Stop Watching the Office.
This is my pilot episode where I talk about my history with watching the show the Office too much and that I will attempt to start watching something else on Netflix.
