New worldMalachi went last he stepped through the gateThe portal tickled it started to shakeTime warped and collapsed crushing through spaceAnd then all went dark a stench hit their faceThe mud was knee deep it consumed their shoesThe bugs were biting the swamp took its duesWhere had they landed would this be there homeCould he get power to take back the throneThis place was foreign but they would strive onOh how he hated the name Oberon

ExileTired and beaten for miles they filedThe traitorous fae were henceforth exiledTheir magic was stripped their weapons on racksTheir beautiful wings were torn from their backsThe people watched on not one word was saidTheir fate was sealed they had made their bed Malachi silent, though anger still burnedHe followed his men no lesson he'd learnedBefore the portal Malachi stood tallHe turned to the king and swore they'd all fall

Portal The king stood stoic his arms outstretchedDreading this moment tears full of regretMalachi forced him the king's hands were tiedThe traitor stood mute misguided by prideMagic was woven the ether was sunderedA portal appeared a void that hungeredThe portal was huge and shone milky whiteIt shimmered and shined and filled up the nightMalachi gave up though hatred still seethedAs Oberon watched the fairies proceed

CorruptionThe darkness it grew it festered insideSmoldering hatred enveloped his eyesHe had lost good men how could his king laughSoldiers forgotten as time quickly passedHe'd honor his men their lives weren't a toolHe would do better Oberon's a foolHe wanted the throne and the kings demiseHe took it with force usurped him with liesKingdom divided the coup nearly doneBut Oberon rose from death he had wonHe gathered his troops he took back his throneBut what was the price this cut won't be sewn
