This episode was a long time in the making. Cruz Khaos is a Hip-Hop lifer going back to his days as a youth in his home country of El Salvador. He gets into the reach the genre has had throughout the globe and how he first began as a B-boy in the 80s. He is one half of the Latin Hip Hop group Reyes del Bajo Mundo along side his partner Dinamico. Along with being a prolific MC who rhymes Cruz is also a DJ who has been hosting events promoting the underground Latin Hip Hop scene for well over 20 years. His dedication to the culture is as big as anyone we've ever met so it was only right that we invited him up to tell a piece of his story.
For this portion of our interview with Rainey we jump into some more segments like Hip Hop Roulette and Album of the Week deep diving into his diverse music catalog. He even blessed our set with a performance to one of his yet to be released songs that'll be a part of a soon to be titled project he will be dropping. As we continue on with Cassidy he shares his experience dealing with a life threatening car accident that put him in a coma for a couple of days and caused him to temporarily lose his memory after just beating an attempted murder case. Another fun fact is he's younger brother to JR Writer who was a part of the Dipset movement in the early 2000's.
