In a Division comprised of so many private institutions, enrollment-based schools are almost a given. The DIII recruiting process is one of a kind. There to help PSAs through this is none other than Danny Chavez, Danny joins Morgan to drop some gems of knowledge on the show tonight!

Portia Hoeg, Commissioner of the Cenntenial Conference and a champion for all hops on the ID3 show with Morgan. Portia is a tenured vet in the field of NCAA DIII athletics and few share her level of success and knowledge within the field. Portia and Morgan get into a discussion of Black Women in sport and much more. Portia is a river of knowledge and gems of wisdom!

On this week's episode of #TheInsideD3Show Nikki Ayers currently serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Administration and Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Nikki and Morgan talk about her unique journey within college athletics specifically women in sports.

RJ Soderman, hops on the show this evening as a long time Division III veteran coach and administrator. He shares his passion for not only coaching but also advising and developing student-athletes academically and personally. RJ and Morgan discuss the subject of transitions within the world of DIII athletics.

On the second Episode of Season 2 of #TheInsideD3Show, Erika Moyer, Head Strength, and Conditioning Coach at Hood College joined Morgan to talk about all things S&C in the world of #WhyD3. A long time young professional in the area of Division III athletics, Erika brings some unique insight and thoughts to the role of strength coaching within the D3 setting.

It's Back! In the season 2 premiere of #TheInsideD3Show, the one and only Host, Morgan Cheatham discusses the world of officiating. Joining him in this episode is D3 brewed, Adrienne Mullikin. Currently serving as the Commissioner of the Colonial States Athletic Conference. They dive into a unique initiative concerning the challenge of officiating not only at the Division III level but in sport as a whole, the commissioner describes her and her peers forward-thinking in solutions. Adrienne also shares her love for DIII athletics, as well as the reason she came back to find a home in the Division after time at the Division I level.

Former chair of the NCAA DIII National SAAc joins Morgan on our 19th release of #TheInsideD3Show. A former standout football player offers a really in-depth perspective of what it takes to succeed on the Division III level. Not only on the field but also in the classroom and even time after as a student-athlete. Parker and Morgan talk about the usual #WhyD3 but also dive into DIII impact on a greater scale than simply sport.

A very special episode featuring our very own Inside D3 Editor in Chief, Sam Viebrock. Currently serving as head SID at Olivet Nazarene, Sam, and Morgan waste no time diving into all aspects of D3 athletics. Sam brings a unique and knowledgeable perspective from his role as a SID at several different intercollegiate levels along with Morgan's wealth of knowledge spanning the landscape of the Division itself. Sam also, of course, discusses his weekly Mascot of The Week segment and reveals this week's mascot and background.

A focal point of Division III athletics is the ability to offer student-athletes a comprehensive holistic college experience with the opportunity to excel at the institution as well as compete at one of the highest levels of amateurism. Marissa is without a doubt a testament to this and her journey to where she is today as a registered nurse and recent graduate of Stevenson University. Morgan and Marissa chop up all of our favorite topics such as the DIII experience, social justice, and more.

In this episode of #TheInsideD3Show James Wagner, Assistant Commissioner of the CSAC conference hops on. James and Morgan chat up his wealth of experience in the field of not only communications but Division III athletics as a whole. James and Morgan also briefly discuss the current climate of college sports amidst COVID. A true "D3 guy" through and through.

Bridgett Finn, currently a rising junior at Lebanon Valley College in the Middle Atlantic Conferences. She is the President of her school SAAC, President of Conference SAAC and Primary Member of National SAAC as well as a handful of school organizations. Morgan and Bridgett dive into her array of experiences in the Division as a student-athlete.

Honored to have special gues join the #InsideD3Show, Matt Noonan founder, owner and editor of Noontime Sports. Matt and Morgan dive right into the journey of Noontime Sports, coverage of small college athletics, and of course the landscape of D3 Sports.

A champion of DIII, leader and experienced figure, Brad Bankston the 22-year conference commissioner of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference hops on the #InstideD3Show. Brad in Morgan dive straight into his extensive background and knowledge of the field as well as talk shop about what makes the Division go round. Brad also offers a really unique perspective of how the Divison has been shaped over the past two decades for both student-athletes and staff. Brad is one of the many people that makes #WhyD3 a thing.

Recently hired as Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Compliance/ Senior Woman Administrator at Alma College. Kiana Verdugo, a true product of Division III athletics, she joins Morgan to discuss her short but busy journey thus far in the field. From her early days as a DIII Track and Field student-athlete to her experience in the Minorites Immersion Program, National SAAC, and an Internship Stint at the National NCAA Office in DIII Governance, Kiana embodies and models the full DIII student-athlete experience.

Commissioner of the relatively newly founded Atlantic East, Jessica Huntley, is featured on Episode 10 of #TheInsideD3Show. She talks about her passion and #WhyD3 journey from her earlier days on the National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to her current role as leader of one of the newest Division III conferences. Jessica shares lots of insight on her day to day functions as well as her plethora of experiences in small college athletics.

Jennifer Baker, Director of Athletics and Recreation Johns Hopkins University joins Morgan on #TheInsideD3Show. Where she talks about her unique background in the Navy to her career in athletics. She also discusses the abnormality of having both DI and DIII programs on campus as part of the Cenntenial and Big Ten Conference.

Krissica Harper, currently an Academic Planner at Concordia University Texas. Krissica and Morgan dialog the normal musings of DIII athletics as well as get into the nature of a DIII student-athlete, life-after-sport, student-athlete well-being, and much more.

In the 7th and the latest edition of #TheInsideD3Show, Lori Runksmeier joins in a call with Morgan. Lori has been a leader in DIII athletics for over 25 years, and currently holds the VP. position in the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) as well as Director of Athletics at Eastern Connecticut State University. Lori shares some of her wealth of knowledge of the Division, student-athlete development, being a leader during a worldwide pandemic, and as always, #WhyD3.

Steve Ulrich, 2019 recipient of CoSIDA Lifetime Achievement award and former Centennial Conference Executive Director. Did the pleasure of calling in to share his wealth of knowledge on Division III athletics and small college athletics. Morgan and Steve discuss Steve's time in the Ivy League, his leadership in the Centennial, and his most recent service to DIII athletics with d3playbook.com.

In Episode 5 of the Inside D3 show, Dan Dutcher, NCAA Vice President for Division III joins Morgan on a call. The two dive right into the heart of Division III athletics and the unique model that it offers to intercollegiate athletics. Dan also Gives some of his background and story about how he came to DIII and ultimately landed himself in the role of overseeing Division III at the National office level.

Keri Luchowski calls in to talk with Morgan about the role conference administrators play in the DIII experience as well as her involvement in a handful of college athletic organizations and committees such as her position as president of the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators.
