TrueNorth Church weekly podcast.

Seven is a series built around the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus in the book of John. In these moments, Jesus explains who He is and why it matters for real life. Each statement speaks to a need we all have—purpose, direction, hope, and life—and shows us how Jesus meets us right where we are. This series is an invitation to see Jesus not as distant or theoretical, but present, personal, and deeply relevant.

This Advent, we gather around the Christmas dinner table—a place filled with warm lights, familiar faces, and the joyful sights and sounds of the season. On the surface, everyone appears happy and excited to celebrate. But beneath the smiles, some carry quiet burdens: a longing to be loved, a search for hope and joy, or a deep desire for peace. Christmas Dinner invites us to look beyond the surface and discover the true meaning of Emmanuel—God with us—even in the unspoken struggles.

Our lives are filled with circles. We are surrounded by relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and classmates. The level of joy and peace in our lives is often tied to the health of those relationships. Jesus lived in circles of relationship—with the Father, with His disciples, and with the crowds—modeling how to love, forgive, serve, and set boundaries in ways that bring life and healing. In this series, we will look closely at how Jesus taught us to live in healthy relationships that aren't just good for us—they're a reflection of God's love at work in and through us.

We all want to make a difference in some way or another. In today's social media world, we often use the word “influencer” to describe someone who has a significant online following and leverages their platform to market and promote goods, services, and ideas that usually provide a profit for themselves. As Paul writes his letter to Titus and the church in Crete, he calls them to be influencers of another kind. The way of Jesus called those in the church to lead with lives of love, purity, and goodness in such a way that the church would transform the culture of greed and deceit in Crete for the Kingdom of God. Join us in September as we unpack God's call to His church today to be His influencers to change our community one life at a time.
