The We Watch Wrestling podcast is hands down my favorite podcast of all time. From their knowledgeable and funny hosts to the entertaining and level-headed content, this show has become a must-listen for anyone who loves the crazy world of professional wrestling. I am such a fan that I even pay for the extra Patreon content.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how well-rounded it is. It's not just a WWE review show, but rather a platform where the hosts watch and talk about anything wrestling-related, from indie shows they actually attend to old school Mid-South to Japan. They truly embody what it means to be a fan of wrestling by exploring various promotions and introducing listeners to different wrestlers, both current and classic.
Another aspect that sets this podcast apart is its positivity. Unlike many other wrestling podcasts that tend to focus on negativity and fueling hatred towards the industry, The We Watch Wrestling podcast remains refreshing with its level-headedness. The hosts genuinely love wrestling and it shows in their discussions. They have even helped me discover my own love for wrestling by introducing me to new promotions and wrestlers I would never have known about otherwise.
However, there is one downside to this podcast: the absence of Tom. While Vince and Matt continue to deliver great episodes, Tom's presence is sorely missed. His unique perspective added depth to the discussions, and his departure leaves a void that can't be fully filled. Nevertheless, I will always love these guys and this show, regardless of who takes Tom's place.
In conclusion, The We Watch Wrestling podcast is undeniably the greatest wrestling podcast out there. With its entertaining hosts, informed conversations, crazy tangents, and hilarious impressions, it never fails to entertain. Whether you're a casual fan or a die-hard enthusiast like myself, this podcast has something for everyone. So do yourself a favor and subscribe – you won't regret it!
