After a serious injury, Wright returned to the sport and captured two gold buckles at the 2025 National Finals Rodeo, winning the PRCA Bull Riding World Championship and the PRCA All-Around World Championship. His momentum has continued into 2026 with standout performances at Denver and Fort Worth, reaffirming his place at the top of the sport. The season was made even more historic alongside his family. The WSL dropped a bomb on the surf world this week, and like Swedish captives, we all collectively cheered. On this episode of The Drop, Stab's co-founder Sam McIntosh is joined by the WSL's new CEO Ryan Crosby to discuss the League's major (and widely lauded) around for the 2026 CT season. Here's the TLDR version, ICYMI:
- The Final Five is dead.
- So is the mid-year cut
- So is the non-elimination opening round
- The 2026 Championship Tour will feature 12 events — with a late season ‘playoff'.
- It will start at Bells Beach in April and end at Pipeline in December, where points will be weighted at 150%.

This Day In Pro Wrestling History: December 9th WWE Vengeance 2001 ReviewThe final WWE PPV of 2001 was called Vengeance at a time when WWE decided to unify two World Titles to create one Undisputed WWE Champion.Since the WWE rivalry with WCW was done, they wanted to get rid of some of the titles they had from WCW. That meant a main event on this show where the WWE Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would defend the title against Kurt Angle in one match while the World Champion (former the WCW World Championship) The Rock would defend that title against Chris Jericho. After that, the winners of those two matches would meet to determine who would be the Undisputed WWE Champion with both titles.
