    A Closer Look at this Moment in the Movement for Black Lives

    In this episode, Sara sits down with 4 Black women to discuss this moment in the overall Movement for Black Lives. After the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Nina Pop, and Rayshard Brooks, we find ourselves in moment of uprising and movement yet again. We find ourselves calling for deep change in our society and with more momentum and longevity than we've seen in a long time. First, Sara sits down with podcast producer Bria Brown. Bria lost her own brother to police violence in 2013 and discusses that loss, the importance of understanding how you are positioned in the US and in the world and the importance of doing the deep life work of contributing to and engaging in a principled struggle.
