2019 Boston Red Sox top draft choice Cameron Cannon joins the pod. He talks about his previous experience with being drafted, the changes he's made to his game, and how baseball was instilled to him at an early age. Thanks for listening.
The Red Sox just swept the Royals as we predicted but we wanna talk about how phenomenal Chris Sale was on Wednesday. Today we talk the confusing process of loving to watch Vladdy Jr. but then realizing he's in the AL East, how Chris Sale dildoed the Royals lineup for the first Sox shutout since part-time Section 10 producer Brian Johnson in 2017, break down the 4 complete game shutouts in the Section 10 era, predict the Sox were gonna complete the sweep because we're wicked smaht, if we're surprised that the Cubs signed Craig Kimbrel, how cool it would be if the whole team had social media accounts and were actually good at posting, Eddie's Goat Milk taking over the world on Wednesday, the real reason why the Sox drafted Cameron Cannon, a little Hey Arnold and Mickey Kaline talk, and finish with your phenomenal Down in the DM questions. Enjoy!

Last night saw the commencement of the 2019 MLB Draft. With the 43rd and 69th overall picks, the Red Sox opted to stay away from pitching and instead add two juicy infield prospects to the organization. University of Arizona shortstop Cameron Cannon was a 2018 Cape Cod Baseball League all-star and is known for his array of talents at the plate, slashing an impressive .397/.478/.651 with the Wildcats. Top-ranked Puerto Rican prospect Matthew Lugo is committed to playing collegiate ball at the University of Miami. The 6’1” 185-pound shortstop's versatile defense, speed to push the game, and power potential, were deemed as features too juicy to pass up on. The Red Sox quest to catch the New York Yankees atop the AL East resumes tonight with Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound. Coming off an ejection last week for hitting Tim Anderson in the head is Glenn Sparkman, who has the start for the Kansas City Royals. First pitch is scheduled for 8:15.
