It was big win for the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night. They beat the Los Angeles Angels, 11-4 and just about every White Sox starter got in on the action. Luis Robert, Tim Anderson and Jose Abreu all had multiple hit nights. Abreu had 2 doubles and Robert and big home run. Josh Harrison had 3 RBIs, as the White Sox had 17 hits on the night. White Sox starter, Johnny Cueto, gave up three solo homeruns in the third inning but that was it. Cueto ended up pitching six innings before turning things over to the Sox bullpen. White Sox gave gave their pitchers more than enough run support, which has been a problem throughout the year. White Sox send Michael Kopech to the mound on Wednesday to face off against Shohei Ohtani. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! Built Bar Built Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. NBA – Pistons draft Ivey at No. 5 and acquire No. 13 pick Duren The Detroit Pistons have selected Purdue's Jaden Ivey with the No. 5 overall pick in the NBA draft. Detroit's rebuilding plan should get a boost with the addition of the dynamic player. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Ivey can play point or shooting guard. The busy team acquired Memphis center Jalen Duren, who was drafted No. 13 overall by Charlotte and traded to New York. Detroit also added Knicks guard Kemba Walker in exchange for a 2025 first-round pick it acquired the previous day. The Pistons added Italian guard Gabriele Procida, who shot 38.3% on 3-pointers for Bologna. NBA – Chicago Bulls take Arizona guard Dalen Terry at No. 18 The Chicago Bulls drafted Arizona guard Dalen Terry with the No. 18 pick, adding size and versatility in the backcourt as they try to take another step after making a big jump to reach the playoffs for the first time in five years. The 6-foot-7, 195-pound Terry averaged 8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.2 steals as a sophomore in coach Tommy Lloyd's first season. Owning a 7-foot wingspan, he can guard multiple spots. And on offense, he can play on or off the ball. Chicago did not have a second-round pick as it was forfeited for a tampering violation. NBA – Magic take Banchero 1st, Holmgren, Smith follow in NBA draft The Orlando Magic selected Duke freshman Paolo Banchero with the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. Hey Sox fans, our Chicago White Sox are a few games under .500 but are back at home and Tim Anderson is returning to the lineup. The Sox host the Blue Jays and Orioles this week as the Sox hope to recapture some of that offense from almost a week ago when they were in Detroit. We talk about Moncada's latest injury, the status of Eloy, lineups, second base and starting pitching. We also recap the series in Houston. Is Johnny Cueto for real? Can he continue to pick up the slack as Giolito scuffles and Lance Lynn tries to get back to form. Thank you for the continued support. The Chicago White Sox lost to the Houston Astros on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball by a score of 4-3. The Sox lost two of the three during the weekend series in Houston. The one win that they did manage to get was their first win in Houston since May 2019. Michael Kopech started for the Sox on Sunday and went 5 innings, giving up 4 runs. He was not his dominate self but in a way, it was juts a relief to have him back on the mound after the issue with his knee during his previous outing. The White Sox managed to get some offense going in the 8th but it was too little, too late. The White Sox will welcome back shortstop, Tim Anderson, as they kick off a series with the Toronto Blue Jays on the South Side of Chicago on Monday night. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
