In this episode of Caregiver Stories I had the pleasure of interviewing Rachel Nusbaum who's mother suffers from PCA (posterior cortical atrophy) a form of dementia. She begins by telling us the early signs of dementia that her mother displayed and how she was misdiagnosed. As the discussion progressed Rachel dove into the details of how her mother's disease changed and affected her life drastically. All while trying to maintain her own immediate family, which includes her husband and two young children. Through the pain she was able to find her calling by reaching out to others that have similar stories.
