Ed Pham and Tenzin Choephel were on site as Giovanni Savarese earned a first-ever MLS victory as Timbers manager. They review the 3-2 victory over Minnesota United and preview the Sunday's big clash with NYCFC.  Michael McColl of AFTN.ca chats with host Andrew Harvey about Whitecaps' disappointing performance in Friday's 2-0 loss to LAFC. A quick assessment on where the failure has occurred so far in 2018 follows before the group previews Vancouver's trip to SKC on Friday.  Seattle finally earned a point in MLS play in their own trip to SKC a last weekend. Can they make it six points from two weekends against Minnesota for our Cascadian clubs? Suzanne Fortune of Soccer2Unite calls in to discuss her charity's work involving the beautiful game in Uganda. Cascadians can get involved at soccer2unite.org.  Playlist: 00:00 - Introduction & interview with Suzanne Fortune, founder of Soccer2Unite 13:20 - Timbers nab first victory, Ed Pham and Tenzin Choephel review 33:00 - First goal and first point for Sounders, can they make it three against Minnesota? 49:45 - Michael McColl of AFTN.ca diagnoses Vancouver's problems with Andrew Harvey; group picks for SKC away

The group recaps a big six point week for Seattle after reliving some Gold Cup highlights. Ari shares his experience writing for Resurgence: How Sounders FC Roared Back to Win MLS Cup, pre-sale link here.   Michael McColl of AFTN joins to try and make sense of Vancouver's weekend disappointment. How did the high-flying Whitecaps fall so flat against 15-man Portland? Our preview of their next match, an away game at FC Dallas, contributes to the title of this episode, with two of our clubs playing in Texas this weekend.  Portland MLSsoccer.com beat writer and Prost editor Matt Hoffman chats with us about the other side of the derby. We praise Ebobisse's big performance and rate it amongst historical performances from other young Cascadians in derby matches. Our Texas Week coverage concludes with the group desperately begging Matt to assure everyone that Cascadia's futility in Houston will finally come to an end on Saturday.

Finally! After eight years of trying, the Seattle Sounders are in MLS Cup after long last. Wait, finally? Long last? David is happy for the Cascadians, but he’s not sure why they’re being made out to be the Chicago Cubs of MLS. Jordan Morris may have some common ground with Michael Jordan, however, after his Flu Game performance helped take the club he grew up supporting to the brink of a title. Morris calls in to give an update on his stomach bug, describe the celebrations in the locker room and at the airport and look ahead to the biggest game of his life on Dec. 10. Plus, are the Rapids set up to compete for years to come or was this a flash in the pan? Who will the Sounders play in MLS Cup? We know it will be a Canadian team, with Toronto hosting Montreal on Wednesday (7 pm ET; FS1 in the US, TSN/RDS in Canada) facing a 3-2 aggregate deficit. Should Greg Vanney start Will Johnson and Tosaint Ricketts? Is Didier Drogba on the brink of a Flu Game himself? The guys dive in full steam, then hit up TFC defender Justin Morrow for the lowdown on the paint fiasco in Montreal, the genius of Giovinco and the opportunity to host MLS Cup at BMO Field. In the mailbag, big news in Los Angeles as the Galaxy name a new general manager and give some hints about their future head coach. Plus, US national team, Designated Player and Cascadia chatter.
