After a pair of disappointing home matches back to back, the Agenda lads are back to talk about...not that. Instead they look at the big news that dropped last week, the MLSPA salary disclosure. They compare 2025's outlay to what 2024 was like, contrasting the pair. They also look ahead slightly to what holes exist that can be filled. Then it's interview time and Ramiro makes his debut on the Agenda. What happens when a legendary sports journalist is introduced right after a joke gone horribly wrong? In this laugh-out-loud episode of The Ben and Skin Show on 97.1 The Eagle, hosts Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray take a wild ride back in time with the Wayback Machine, revisiting one of the most hilariously awkward moments in show history. Just moments before welcoming the iconic Gina Miller—DFW sports media royalty and current FC Dallas executive—Ben drops a joke that can only be described as unfortunate timing meets middle school humor:

FC Dallas hung tough against Western leading San Diego FC, but ultimately fell 3-2 to the Chrome and Azul at Toyota Stadium. Sam, Ryan, and Steve break down a game that could have gone a lot of different ways, where the blame is to fall, and who had good performances despite the outcome. This program originally aired on the FC Dallas Radio Network on June 28th, 2025.
It was a tale of two games for FC Dallas despite losing 4-2 to San Jose at home. Sam, Ryan, and Steve break down a pair of straight reds for the Toros changing the entire match, what they did see positive in the first 75 minutes, and what this means ahead of Saturday's contest with San Diego FC.This program originally aired on the FC Dallas Radio Network on June 25th, 2025.
Sporting KC finally returned to the friendly confines of Children's Mercy Park on Saturday Night, but were unable to give the fans a victory as they fell to FC Dallas 4-2. SKC was able to take the early lead again in this one off of a pretty curling shot from the top of the box by Shapi Suleymanov, but in a familiar refrain the team was unable to maintain their defensive posture in central midfield, and FC Dallas used it to pull them out of shape prior to a nice crossed ball from Shaq Moore onto the foot of Petar Musa equalized. Then things got a bit weird, as the referee made a couple tight calls against Sporting KC leading to a penalty for Lucho Acosta, and an early trip to the showers for Khiry Shelton as Sporting had to play down a man for the last half hour plus stoppage time while already down 2-1 on the score sheet. I think it is fair to credit SKC with the fact that they did still try pretty aggressively to attack Dallas' goal even with the man disadvantage, but that led to two more fairly simple finishes for Bernard Kamungo and Lucho Acosta, meaning that outside of a late consolation goal from Santi Munoz, that SKC would be heading into this 10 day break having two straight losses after having seeming to have somewhat righted the ship prior to that..The USMNT drama continued last week with Christian Pulisic and Mauricio Pochettino trading public barbs, before they thoroughly dismantled a Trinidad and Tobago team that seemed mostly disinterested in even attempting to play in their Gold Cup opener. That wasn't the only fun performance this weekend though, as the Kansas City Current continued their dominance at the top of the league while still missing several key players. They did let Louisville back into this one late but then Temwa did what Temwa does and iced it after a nice ball from Claire Hutton sent her running down the flank and Temwa did the rest.
After another three points on the road for FC Dallas, this time in dominating fashion over Sporting Kansas City, the Agenda lads are back to break it all down. Ryan, Steve, and Garrett talk through an all-around performance in the Fountain City. They also talk through what they want to see as MLS's second half rounds into form. This week's interview is one of the debutantes from Saturday's win, left back Josh Torquato. The 17 year old talks to Garrett about what it was like to come on for his MLS debut, what his long term goals are, and much more. Then with no game this week, the Agenda took burning questions from fans. Subjects covered include academy development, the state of Toyota Stadium's remodel, and what player would be the best cloned 11 times to make up a full squad.2:23 SKC Review/2nd Half Expectations31:27 Josh Torquato Interview40:27 Questions From ListenersThe FC Dallas Agenda will publish every Wednesday as a part of the FC Dallas Radio Network. For the Glory KC is back with the 136th episode of the show!Sporting Kansas City have lost back-to-back games for the first time in the Kerry Zavagnin era. While results haven't been perfect, it's a testament to how much better this team is. Against FC Dallas, it felt like an opportunity to avoid this very result as Dallas entered the game on a six-game winless streak. And it really felt like Sporting KC were the better side on the night. At least until things went off the rails. Referee Sergii Demianchuk had an outsized impact on the game. Sheena and I get into the dicey officiating on the night and if we thought the right calls were made. A lot was made of the Khiry Shelton red card, but that may have actually been one of the more accurate calls. The first yellow, who knows based on the broadcast. But the second, Khiry cannot make that challenge. There was a lot of poor calls though, and a lot of bad replay work.Sheena also made it out to Children's Mercy Park for the first time in 2025 and she brought some newbies. Sheena gives her breakdown on the atmosphere and the view from the South Stand. We also round-up a bunch of SKC stories, including Zorhan Bassong going back on national team duty, updates on Gianluca Busio, Benny Feilhaber, Johnny Russell and more. The KC Current won their fifth straight and their 10th of the season on the back of three goals in the first 19 minutes that would prove too much for Racing Louisville to overcome. We also update what we know on Lo LaBonta's injury and the final results of HB Koge's season in the Danish league. In the Digital Crawl, we touch on a few more topics, including:A new soccer facility in KCThe NWSL Final gets a locationUSMNT resultsHere is a rundown of topics and start times:Sporting KC lose a controversial game against FC Dallas - 4:51SKC Round-up - 42:00KC Current win and a Lo update - 53:13Digital Crawl - 1:04:44Upcoming GamesUSMNT vs. Saudi Arabia, Thursday, June 19th at 8:15PM CDTKC Current vs. Angel City FC, Friday, June 20th at 7:00PMUSMNT vs. Haiti, Sunday, June 22nd at 6:00PMSKC have the weekend off but play twice the next weekAs a special gift to For the Glory KC listeners and KC Soccer Journal readers, Backheeled dot com is giving away 30 days of their amazing, independent American soccer coverage for free. After a two week layoff, FC Dallas went to Kansas City and came away 4-2 victors over their long time rival. Sam, Ryan, and Steve break down an all around strong game for the Dallas offense, talk about what looked promising despite a late red card, and discussed a pair of debutantes who appeared in the Fountain City. This program originally aired on the FC Dallas Radio Network on June 14th, 2025.
Sporting KC traveled to LA this weekend a bit short handed due to a rapidly increasing injury list and it looked like it as LAFC were the far better side on the night and came away as 3-1 victors in what could almost be described as a tune up match for them before they begin their club world cup campaign in a few days. There was a moment of brilliance for Sporting as they scored a very beautiful goal that was very much against the run of play to take a 1-0 lead late in the first half. It was unfortunately short lived as LAFC were able to equalize before halftime and then drew a penalty to go up 2-1 causing Sporting to have to push their numbers forward for an equalizer that allowed LAFC to create havoc in transition, which eventually led to a stoppage time 3rd goal. We've reached the midpoint of the season, and it's probably time to take stock in where this team is, what performances we've been warmed by so far this season, and what is reasonable to expect from the team the rest of the year. There are opportunities to improve both on and off the field, as well as a run of home games over the next several weeks to hopefully string some positive results together. Finally we will check in on everyone's favorite topic to be mad about online, the USMNT, the KC Current continuing their dominance even as they struggle with injury issues of their own, and a quick preview of the upcoming home match against FC Dallas.

In this episode of the Designated Players Podcast, we continue our series where we retell the stories of MLS history. We've gone through all the team's subreddits and asked for different stories they remember about their teams, and we've got a list of almost all of them. We are going to do our research and then come together to retell everyone about those stories and give them the spotlight they deserve. This week we're talking about FC Dallas' stunning win over the super team LA Galaxy, and then tying everything all together talking about the 2010 MLS Cup Final between Dallas and the previously discussed Colorado Rapids.0:00 - Scarf of the Week2:55 - 2010 Western Conference Semifinals10:31 - 2010 MLS Cup Final#MLS #MLSCup #mlscupplayoffs #ATLUTD #atlantaunited #austinfc #charlottefc #forthecrown #cf97 #chicagofire #fccincinnati #fcc #allforcincy #coloradorapids #rapids96 #columbuscrew #crew96 #dcu #dcunited #fcdallas #dtid #houstondynamo #holditdown #sportingkc #skc #lagalaxy #losangeles #lafc #intermiami #intermiamicf #messi #lionelmessi #minnesotaunited #mnufc #legionofloons #cfmtl #cfmontreal #nashvillesc #everyonen #newenglandrevolution #nerevs #newyorkredbulls #rbny #NYCFC #newyorkcity #orlandocity #orlandocitysc #philadelphiaunion #DOOP #portlandtimbers #RCTID #RSL #realsaltlake #sanjoseearthquakes #quakes74 #seattlesounders #sounders #stlouiscity #STL #allforcity #TFCLive #torontofc #vancouverwhitecaps #VWFC #USL #uslchampionship #mlsseasonpass #AppleTV #adRecorded on: 6/1/2025Let us know your thoughts and if we got it right or right! One of the most anticipated Agenda episodes of the year has come to pass as the lads were joined by the former voice of FC Dallas on television, radio, and stadium PA Mark Followill as the international break comes to an end. Ryan and Steve talked to Mark about his history with FC Dallas going all the way back to the Burn at the Cotton Bowl, before transitioning to broadcasting games. They also re-visit some of the classic calls that made Followill a local soccer legend. After a break they dive into Mark's currents goings on with Apple TV as a part of their MLS Season Pass coverage, including his favorite part about doing the games. He also talks about what he's seen from FC Dallas so far this season. Then it's Garrett's time to shine, as he gets everyone up to speed with this week's opposition Sporting Kansas City. The lads also talk about FC Dallas players away from the club representing their countries on the international break. 1:00 A Mark Followill Retrospective42:59 What's Mark Up To These Days56:51 SKC Preview/FCD Internationals UpdateThe FC Dallas Agenda will publish every Wednesday as a part of the FC Dallas Radio Network. For the Glory KC is back with the 135th episode of the show!Sporting Kansas City came back down to earth this week with a tough loss against Los Angeles Football Club on the road. Things looked bright early when Dejan Joveljic scored his 10th goal of the season off a Manu Garcia assist. But the lead didn't even last until halftime.Calamitous set piece defending led to a 1-1 halftime score and the capper on a bad game for Memo Rodriguez led to the game winning penalty kick for Denis Bouanga.Speaking of Bouanga, despite him having a goal and an assist, Jansen Miller seemed to be in his head. Maybe Bouanga gets the last laugh, but all the victimizing Denis did came at the expense of others, not Miller. Jansen more than held his own against one of the elite players in Major League Soccer. It's wild to say Miller (and frankly Pulskamp again) had good games when three goals went in. But they really did. And the joy Miller clearly gets from hounding attackers was all over his face.Sheena and I also discussed lots of other topics including: the return of Jake Davis from injury, the return of Stephen Afrifa from the bench, Khiry Shelton's ever-changing hair color, a bloody Shapi Suleymanov, who the heck was the captain after Daniel Salloi subbed off and many other topics from the SKC/LAFC game. Before we got to the winning KC team, we also had to talk about the big news that Benny Feilhaber has landed a job with the Oakland Roots of the USL Championship. It's a short-term deal. Is it so he can make sure he's available for the Sporting KC job?The KC Current went out and crushed it again, this time winning on the road against the newly crowned CONCACAF W Champions, NJ/NY Gotham. Michelle Cooper and Temwa Chawinga scored early, but it was the VAR that may have come to their rescue late. The officials seemed to get most things right when overturning Gotham goals, but that Esther goal is a little dicey to change. We also discussed a really good interview Forbes did with Chris and Angie Long along with the new 2,000 seat stadium the KC Current are building at their Riverside complex. In the Digital Crawl, we touch on a few more topics, including:More SKC II woesUSWNT/USMNT resultsThe Chicago Fire privately funding a new stadiumHere is a rundown of topics (and approximate start times):Sporting KC come back to Earth in LA - 7:28Benny gets a job and more in the SKC roundup - 41:25KC Current get a big road win (again) - 49:25Another KC women's soccer stadium and more in the Current roundup - 55:39Digital Crawl - 1:09:46Upcoming GamesUSMNT vs. Switzerland - Tuesday, June 10th at 7:00PM CDTKC Current vs Racing Louisville, Saturday, June 14th at 6:30PMSporting KC vs. FC Dallas, Saturday, June 14th at 7:30PMSKC II have 3 weeks offAs a special gift to For the Glory KC listeners and KC Soccer Journal readers, Backheeled dot com is giving away 30 days of their amazing, independent American soccer coverage for free. Hello Colorado Rapids fans. Welcome back to Memories From Toronto, a Holding The High Line Production. My name is Matt Pollard. On this episode of our 2010 MLS Cup interview series, Rabbi Mark Goodman speaks with the center back teddy bear, Drew Moor. Drew discusses his soccer journey to MLS. Get the tissues out for when he gets asked about getting traded from FC Dallas to Colorado Rapids. If you didn't love Drew already, you will after listening to this interview. Mark and Drew of course discuss the 2010 season, holding the high line with Marvell Wynne, and what it was like playing his former club in a cup final. There's some fun off-topic story telling as well. Mark breaks the 4th wall a few times. There is some profanity. It is bleeped out. Enjoy this episode as we ramp up content the week of the 30th anniversary of the founding of Colorado Rapids Soccer Club. You can listen to previous episodes of Memories From Toronto where we interview Marvell Wynne, Kosuke Kimura, Omar Cummings, Paul Bravo, and Jeff Plush.

A promising first half and an epic collapse in the second half led to a 3-3 draw with FC Dallas. But the storyline that seemed bigger than the shift in momentum was the return of Lucho Acosta to the roaring sounds of "boos" at TQL. On this week's episode of the Sounders FC Pod-Cast, host Steve Zakuani recaps what could be shaping up to be a nine-point week for the Seattle Sounders. First, a solid win over FC Dallas last weekend, followed by a grind-it-out victory over San Diego FC on Wednesday, which saw Jesus Ferreira open his scoring bank account for the first time in a Rave Green jersey. The schedule doesn't get easier: Steve looks ahead to a tough home matchup against third-place Minnesota United (kickoff 3pm on Sunday at Lumen Field) before the Sounders hit the road to face Western Conference table-leading Vancouver Whitecaps on June 8th.And keep tuning in from there, as Steve is joined by our Change Champions representative, Elvin Bucu, Senior Director of Development from Foundation for Tacoma Students to learn more about the great work him and his team do for the community.
Kevin, Grayson, and The Chief had a night to sleep on it and are ready to deliver their post-FC Dallas draw takes. A draw that felt like a loss with Lucho on the field was a tough one to stomach, but it wasn't all bad. Dado continues his run of form, the defense collapsed, and Denkey should have earned a defender a card that never came. Lucho's comments post-match deserve a closer look. Kevin, Grayson, and The Chief are joined by tactics extraordinaire Nate Gilman in Part One to talk about what is going wrong with this FC Cincinanti team. Despite the results, despite the table position, this team still seems stuck in second gear. Why? Part Two is mostly a rant against the team's performance and the referee decisions (or non decisions) that led to a player ending up in the hospital, literally. Part Three is a look ahead to a Wednesday match that brings some guy named Luciano Acosta(?) to town. On this week's episode of the Sounders FC Pod-Cast, co-hosts Brad Evans and Steve Zakuani recap a 4-point road trip that took the Rave Green to Houston, LAFC and Portland. They discuss the busy home schedule ahead, starting with Saturday afternoon's matchup against FC Dallas, then San Diego FC on the 28th and Minnesota to open up June. Brad and Zak go through lineup options, breakdown the team's set piece success this season, and discuss how MLS has transformed into a more attacking-focused league. Then, Steve is joined by Change Champion Christy Garner of the Boys and Girls Club, Puget Sound, to learn more about the organization and how they serve local youth through mentorship programs. The pod wraps up with a quick game of Over / Under and a broadcast look ahead for the next week and a half.
