England wasn't its sharpest and the US played inspired soccer. With passionate play from US Captain Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah the US kept England off balance but missed a couple of huge opportunities including one off the crossbar by Christian Pulisic. Controversy still surrounds the lack of minutes for Brenden Aaronson and Gio Reyna. Begs the question, even when the team is playing this well, shouldn't we have our absolute best squad on the field? The boys need goals…period. Sets up a huge do-or-die game on Tuesday against Iran, who beat Wales 2-0.

Highlights from this week's show. Winning Playoff games, FC Cincinnati is big time. After a showdown vs New York Red Bulls in the big apple the club has a short turnaround to train, study and get to Chester Pennsylvania to face Philadelphia Union. Boston Geoff, Ken and Nate dive into this past match. First with their best and worsts, which may include some fake injuries, and then recap the match. FCC came alive in the second half and we talk about the subs that made it happen. Then we highlight FCC's record on quick turns, and dive into Philly's "undefeated home record." Geoff pokes some holes into how it may not be as good as it sounds. Take a listen for all that and some iffy match predictions.
