The Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion took place in Las Vegas this past weekend and from the pictures and postings we have seen it looks like a good time was had by all. Tonight, we will catch up with a tired, sore, Cauliflower Alley Club President Brian Blair. We'll talk about all the great events that happened during the weekend and the awards that were handed out. We are reaching out to other friends of ours who were there to get their take on the weekend. We are also slated to be joined by our good friend, Tennessee promoter Tina Gant. This young lady always seems to have something going on and definitely has some opinions on what is happening in the wrestling business. This should be a great two hours with lots of fun stories and several surprises.
In this episode, Joel Gertner talks about his involvement with Starrcast II, recaps his visit to the 2019 Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion and talks about his Twitter bet with Grant. After the success of last week's Anniversary shows we begin our new season with the return of an old segement and bringing back one of our more popular women wrestlers. We open tonight with the return of frequent Special Contributor Steven "Crimefighter" Lucas who will be giving us a preview of Pinfall Wrestling Association's 100th event, "Brawloween" which occurs this Saturday night, which includes a special appearance by former WWF/TNA star Lisa Marie "Victoria/Tara" Varon. It's been a while since we've talked to veteran womens wrestling star Malia Hosaka and a lot has happened since then. The last time we talked to Malia she was involved in raising money to help get many veteran women wrestlers to the annual Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion. We will talk about that event, the state of not just independent wrestling, but of womens wrestling, especially heading towards WWE's first ever all women pay per view event. The thing we know about Malia is she is very outspoken so be prepared for some comments that may go against the grain, but that is why we love her so much. Get ready to be entertained and educated by one of the pioneers of womens wrestling. BUY OUR SHIRTS!https://www.cafepress.com/wrestlingauthorityradio
Well it looks like the girls are back in charge of the asylum tonight! Scheduled to appear with us are our dear friends from GLOW, Eileen "MTV" O'Hara, Tracee "Roxy Astor" Meltzer and possibly more. Many of the girls went to the annual Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion in Las Vegas so we will talk about all the fun people they met and everything they did (at least what we can talk about that doesn't violate Nevavda state laws). In addition, they are working on a couple of side projects, one GLOW related, and one that is as removed from GLOW, and wrestling in general, as you possibly can. We're not sure how long our GLOW girls will be staying with us but don't worry, we have plenty to cover. Get ready for us to talk about a lot of controversial stuff. Would YOU take YOUR KIDS to a wrestling show held on the grounds of a STRIP CLUB & ADULT BOOK STORE? You know, the kind where people have sex in the booths while watching ? Well one promotion is betting you will, and we will call them out! All this and MORE-TONIGHT!
We recap WWE Backlash and the state of Roman Reigns with Brian Fritz from Between The Ropes and The Sporting News. We also learn more about Major League Wrestling and its new show on beinSports from its founder, Court Bauer. Plus, Stew tells more stories from the Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion in Las Vegas, and he shares interviews with Blue Demon Jr., Lucha Underground’s Marty The Moth, and CAC Tag Team honorees Harlem Heat, Booker T & Stevie Ray.
The wrestling world is in a state of shock as word came out earlier this afternoon of the sudden passing of Emily Dole, known throughout North America as Mt. Fiji, the top heroine of GLOW, who recieved their long due honors at the Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion last year. We have reached out to our friends from GLOW, inviting them to come on and share memories of their dear friend and sister. No matter who, if anyone, does come on to talk about her we will discuss her career both in and out of the ring. Our scheduled guest tonight will be calling us from Africa! To make more of how big this is, for those of you who are old enough to remember the famous Rumble In The Jungle fight between the late, great Muhammed Ali and George Foreman, to accomodate American closed circuit audiences, the fight started at 2:00 A.M. in Africa. It will be 3:00 A.M. when we start over there, yet our guest is being gracious and giving up sleep to do our show. "God's Power" Power Lee is the current AIWF African Champion. He is well known throughout the continent, holding numerous titles from many major promotions. He has become a hero and can count not just other wrestlers, but numerous African political figures as fans of his. We hope you will enjoy our time of tribute and our first major international wrestling star interview.
