Recent polling shows he's within striking distance of the top three Democratic candidates, who are all in a dead heat with 10 percent of the vote each. In California's "jungle primary" system, the top two go on to battle it out in final round, so Democrats are panicking about the prospect of two Republicans in the top two or -- even scarier -- a Green Party candidate making it to the final ballot. Professor Ware details the rough injustice of the closed court proceeding in which he was kicked off the ballot, the plan to appeal the decision, and why every leftist and resistance lib in the country should be focused on wresting the world's third biggest economy away from the corporate duopoly. Oh boy, do we have a spicy one tonight. For the first time ever, we have the "Agent of Chaos" Eric Curtis, the "Sexiest Voice in Podcasting" Jack, and the plane-making legend Konrad Sauer all in the same episode at the same time.We are revisiting one of our most controversial early topics—Art vs. Craft—but this time, we're tearing down the binary. Konrad argues that we missed a crucial piece of the puzzle: Design. What follows is a philosophical free-for-all about the hats we wear as makers, the tension between feeling and engineering, and why a 1.7-million-year-old hand axe proves we've always been obsessed with "getting our faces sat on" (metaphorically... mostly). From the empathy required to build a chair to the enduring legacy of cave paintings, we break down what it actually means to make "objects of desire" and why the labels might not matter as much as the joy of making. To watch the YOUTUBE VIDEO of this episode and the irreverent & somewhat unpredictable AFTERSHOW, subscribe to our Patreon: (http://patreon.com/user?u=91688467) http://patreon.com/user?u=91688467
What do you do when you're in a wilderness season — fighting, praying, believing — and things still look dry and unchanged? In this Walk It Out Wednesday teaching, Pastor Don Johnson revisits Jesus' temptation in Matthew 4 to uncover how the wilderness is your launching pad to greatness — where the private fight prepares you for public success. You'll learn how your God-identity sustains you in adversity and why the wilderness is designed for maturity, not misery. You can overcome weariness and make a significant shift by using the Word with strategy, clarity, and strength. Get answers to key questions you may be wrestling with: • Why does my wilderness season keep repeating? • How do I stay hopeful during hardship and delays? • How do I find strength when I feel alone? • Can I thrive in a dry season? Breakthrough Moment: Every wilderness has a purpose — and God never lets you walk through one without preparing you for the victory on the other side. You don't get to choose your wilderness, but you do get to choose how you fight in it. In “The Rumble in the Jungle,” Pastor Don Johnson shows us that the battles we face aren't signs of weakness — they're signs of promotion. Just like a boxer enters the ring focused on victory, Matthew 4 reveals Jesus stepped into the wilderness already equipped, already affirmed, and already undefeated. The space between who you are and who you are becoming is a fight. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus has already secured your victory! Let this timely message show you: • Why God leads you into uncomfortable places • How to discern real opportunities from traps • How to resist shortcuts that sabotage identity • Why your anointing attracts attacks • How to fight back with the Word If you're weary, vulnerable, or under pressure, this is your reminder: You have already won. Now fight like it. Cataloguing the chaos leading up to COP30 Ben Cooke of The Times. His team's reporting makes clear why the mood isn't exactly jubilant: the clean-power alliance with zero members, the rainforest pledges with little progress, and the renewed swagger of fossil petrostates. Even potential bright spots, like the Tropical Forest Forever Facility announced last week, were somewhat dimmed by the spectacle of UK prime minister Keir Starmer reversing an earlier decision not to go to COP, only to make the trip to then announce his government wouldn't be part of the hoped-for signature initiative out of this event. We chat with Ben about all of that and more.

Hello there!! Welcome to Alberts bookshelf. We hope you enjoy listening to Rumble in the Jungle one of Alberts favourite books. Thanks for Listening.

The music festival promoters hustle hard to secure a plane to Zaire. Finally on board, all the artists are nearly killed by James Brown and his oversized ego. Despite the high drama, the flight is a magical experience for all aboard when the musicians turn the plane into an epic jam session. This shared joy carries the crew through to Zaire. Upon arrival, they are greeted by the drums and voices of The Motherland. Meanwhile, fight promoters scramble to rearrange the weekend after Foreman’s cut and, in doing so, find out who President Mobutu really is.
