When Football Is Football is part of the Sports History Network - The Headquarters For Sports Yesteryear.EPISODE SUMMARYEvery so often, we encounter a football story that just screams to be shared. In this episode of “When Football Was Football” we'll actually discuss a kicker who, believe it or not, boomed 100-yard punts in practice. Sometimes, there are true stories that just cannot be made up…Such was the case of punter Harry Ghaul, whose startling back story includes the previously mentioned punting skills, but also a hall-of-fame collegiate football career at a major football university. That type of accomplishment is not necessarily unusual in pro football circles where only the best of the best from the college ranks makes it with the NFL big boys. However, the spectacular college career for Harry Ghaul began AFTER his professional time with the Cardinals.Let's begin this unique story of Mr. Ghaul who was born on June 4, 1921......Read the entire episode blog post and check out some other cool info regarding this episode here.WHEN FOOTBALL WAS FOOTBALL BACKGROUNDEach episode takes the listener back to the very early days of the National Football League. Author Joe Ziemba will share a forgotten or lost story from one of the NFL's two oldest teams: The Bears and the Cardinals. Team championships, individual exploits, or long-buried items of interest from the earliest years of the NFL will be dusted off and resurrected for the listener. Not for the football faint-of-heart since these programs will document when the struggling Bears nearly went out of business or when Cardinals' players earned $15 a game and were proud of it! It's NFL history—with a twist!. Palm Golf began with a few buddies and a standing weekly tee time at a local muni course in Orange County, CA. In between numerous three-putts and duffed chips, we talked about ideas and visions on how to improve the game of golf. Since no one should trust us to teach the game of golf, we decided to find something we could improve -- the style. We looked at everything we could and found an often neglected, but vastly used product, the glove. Palm’s goal quickly became to provide a highly fashionable golf glove, with absolutely no sacrifice to the quality, and something that any golfer would want to wear. We have designs for the clean-cut, tucked-in country clubber, to the high-top, jogger-wearing, muni-hacker. However you dress up, we know we can cover your hand in style.Support the show (https://golfersauthority.com/membership/)

REZOcast goes crazy for its 50th episode as we discuss and talk about the release of Destiny 2 and do a non-spoiler and spoiler review. The sequel to Destiny is finally here! How did we like Ghaul and the story
Destiny 2 Launch Trailer Reaction. Ghaul's actions in the trailer signal a much worse situation than we originally thought. Here are my thoughts on it.
Episode 92 brings Blue, Green, and Justin back together to discuss the various ideas that have been debated about the Cabal since year one as well as begin the discussion about Ghaul, the newest adversary in Destiny 2. The team enjoys the antics of Justin's inability to make his computer behave as well (auto muting is a real thing, people) and even get to discuss a fair amount of Roman history (forgive Blue for the tangents). Be sure to also stick around until the end of the show for a really special announcement from Blue. As usual, thank you again for giving our ramblings a listen! It was a tremendously big week for leaks and reveals in the video game universe. Players were treated to not only a Destiny 2 teaser, but a full blown reveal trailer of what we can expect Destiny 2's overall tone to be. We were also treated to a release date, September 8th, and who the next big bad is, Ghaul. There was other news including information about Ken Levine's next game as well as what PlayStation Plus subscribers can download during the month of April. We also discuss our early and not so early Breath of the Wild impressions, review episode 3 of Telltale's Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and more.
