The Steelers are winding down their final early offseason practices this week and with two sessions remaining, we go over what HC Mike McCarthy had to say during his Tuesday media session. We go deeper into what McCarthy had to say about TE Darnell Washington and rookie RB/WR Eli Heidenreich. We also discuss the roster chances of the latter. Rookie QB Drew Allar spoke to the media on Tuesday, so we discuss the key things he had to say during his session. We also talk briefly about what OG Mason McCormick had to say on Tuesday as well. Gwen Mysiak worked in the field of Public Broadcasting for 19 years in Buffalo and during that time, her friend's cousin Andrew Pawlak was 13 years old and in 7th grade when he was diagnosed with a form of Pediatric Cancer and passed away 2 years later. Not too much time went by after that before Gwen switched carriers to become the Punt Pediatric Cancer Collaborative's Executive Director in 2012. This Collaborative focuses on 6 major programs to help families deal with a Pediatric Cancer situation, with a special emphasis on their bereavement program.

That means that we fully discuss three draft prospects in OT Travis Burke, LB Harold Perkins, and CB Malik Muhammad. With the Steelers bringing in quite a few cornerbacks for pre-draft visits this year, Alex and I examine the possibility of the team selecting one in the first two days of the 2026 NFL Draft and even as early as the second round at 53rd overall. On the heels of Alex doing a draft study on wide receivers that have been selected over the years, we ho over the one player that checked every box and the few that were able to check all but one of the testing boxes. We discuss how future studies for other positions are likely to go by the wayside due to most players have incomplete pre-draft testing profiles.
