They also dive into some recent gaming news like the $55 billion deal to take EA private from some interesting players, including the Saudi Public Fund. Fans have concerns about games like The Sims being censored and studios that focus on choice like BioWare and Motive being closed. This deal is set to finalize in 2027 pending any disruption. Finally, they discuss the 50% price increase for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, now making it $29.99 USD. Though that is still a great deal for the amount of games players have available to them per month, that extra ten dollars may cause canceled subscriptions and prevent new ones.
